The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 2-9, 2026.

Monday, Feb. 2

  • At 8:32 a.m., police checked on an unoccupied vehicle in the ditch at W12119 Highway 29, Prescott. They left a voicemail for the owner; the vehicle was later removed.
  • Police responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 10:34 a.m. near N5591 Highway 63, Ellsworth. Drug paraphernalia and an open alcohol container were in plain view. Officers towed the vehicle with a hold until its owner contacts PCSO.
  • A lost dog was reported at 11:35 a.m. at W1514 430th, Plum City.
  • Deputies were dispatched to assist an upset female at 1:09 p.m. at W6388 Highway 35, Bay City. Police gave her a courtesy ride and updated the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office.
  • While responding for a loose goat at 2:52 p.m. near Highway 65 and 690th Avenue, Beldenville, the owner took care of it.
  • At 4:13 p.m., officers searched for a dirty red SUV involved in a civil matter near W6324 Highway 35, Bay City, but couldn’t locate it.
  • Deputies were asked to do a welfare check at 4:50 p.m. on a man at W4493 Highway 72, Ellsworth. As officers drove by, they saw the complainant speaking to the man in question at the home’s front door. Everything was okay.
  • Police received an animal complaint at 5:27 p.m. at W1514 430th, Plum City.
  • Deputies spoke with a complainant about a vehicle civil matter at 5:34 p.m. at S215 Newman Ave., Spring Valley. He was advised to make prior arrangements before taking possession of the vehicle in question.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

  • Officers conducted a security check at 1:04 a.m. at 232 E. Springer Ave., Elmwood. All seemed to be in order.
  • Police took a possible theft/property damage report at 8:11 a.m. at W3470 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies responded to a car vs. dog crash at 8:49 a.m. at Highway 63 and 535th Street, Spring Valley. The dog owner was going to come back and retrieve the dog.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 9:04 a.m. at W7375 170th, Hager City.
  • At 12:25 p.m., police spoke to a man wanting extra patrol in the area of W4277 County Road G, Ellsworth, for a future meeting regarding an area dairy farm.
  • At 2:28 p.m., police spoke to a complainant regarding an abandoned couch at W9294 800th, River Falls. The complainant said they’d notify the township to see if they would pick it up.
  • Deputies performed a welfare check on someone walking on a road shoulder at 5:53 p.m. at County Road QQ and Highway 10, Prescott. They were just on a walk.
  • Officers assisted Spring Valley EMS at 6:19 p.m. at S1186 Cottage Lane.
  • Deputies and State Patrol assisted EMS with a medical emergency at 6:22 p.m. at County Road A and 420th Street, Maiden Rock.
  • Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 8:35 p.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City. They informed the caller that this was a personal/family matter.
  • At 10:09 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle for suspicious behavior at 10:09 p.m. at 750th Street and 290th Avenue, Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 10:33 p.m. at 375 Church St., River Falls.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

  • Officers responded to an owl vs. car crash at 5:48 a.m. at Highway 63 ad 535th Street, Spring Valley. A wildlife rehab facility was contacted and the owl was able to recover on its own. It was released back into the wild.
  • Police were dispatched for a disorderly person at 8:25 a.m. at W1581 210th, Plum City. The complainant was advised to look into tenant/landlord rights.
  • At 1:07 p.m., the town chair was advised of animals on the roadway near W3716 Highway 10, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with a vehicle slide-in at 5:08 p.m. at E345 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Deputies assisted RF police at 5:23 p.m. at 1450 S. Wasson Lane.
  • At 6:31 p.m., a complainant reported receiving harassing calls from multiple numbers at W9778 805th, River Falls. The messages were asking for money. They did not send any. Police advised them to block the numbers.
  • Deputies responded to a vehicle slide-in at 7:26 p.m. at Highway 65 and County Road O, River Falls. The driver called for a tow.

Thursday, Feb. 5

  • Prescott police requested assistance with a possible domestic at 2:01 a.m. at 470 Monroe St.
  • Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at 6:01 a.m. at 8481 690th, River Falls. The motorist was out looking for their dog and got stuck in the driveway. The dog was located.
  • Police responded to a business alarm at 6:21 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. The building was secure with no signs of a disturbance.
  • At 10:22 a.m., police were informed of possible stalking by an ex-spouse at W2330 County Road G, Elmwood. The caller was advised of the restraining order process and how to document future incidents.
  • A computer crime was reported at 2:33 p.m. at N8660 County Road Y, River Falls.
  • Officers conducted a welfare check at 3:46 p.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott. Deputies assisted EMS, who transported the person to a hospital.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 6:59 p.m. at County Road DD and Highway 10, Ellsworth.
  • Officers assisted EMS with a man who fell in the street at 9:10 p.m. at S225 S. McKay Ave., Spring Valley.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disorderly person at 10:10 p.m. at 165 E. Susan St.
  • While on patrol at 10:33 p.m. near 456 W. Main St., Ellsworth, officers found a Dewalt grinder in the road. It was taken to PCSO for safekeeping.

Friday, Feb. 6

  • Police took information on a lost dog at 12:13 p.m. at N8753 1020th, River Falls. It was found shortly thereafter.
  • Deputies conducted a welfare check on a 1-year-old baby at 2:47 p.m. at 104 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City. The child was in good health and happy.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 4:55 p.m. at County Road QQ and Highway 10, Prescott. No one was located.
  • Officers were advised of a harassment complaint at 5:49 p.m. at W4277 County Road G, Elmwood. They wanted it documented.
  • Deputies stood by at 7:27 p.m. at 104 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City, while a woman removed her belongings from the house.

Saturday, Feb. 7

  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 12:57 a.m. at W7562 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The owner had left a note saying they would have it removed as soon as it was fixed.
  • Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving without taillights into oncoming traffic and crossing the center line at 1:47 a.m. on Highway 63 in Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI-third and other charges.
  • Officers took a report of lost cattle at 9:37 a.m. at N4521 970th, Hager City.
  • Officers responded to a suicide at 10:07 a.m. at N7444 50th, Spring Valley. The person had no pulse.
  • At 4:42 p.m., a man reported possible missing items at W2801 230th, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a shooting complaint at 4:43 p.m. at N8365 1126th, River Falls. The caller decided police weren’t needed when the neighbor stopped shooting.
  • Officers were informed of a downed power line at 5:26 p.m. at W7617 170th, Hager City. Xcel responded to fix it.
  • Deputies conducted follow-up on an ongoing civil matter at 6:02 p.m. at N6740 870th, River Falls.
  • A caller reported an odor of burning trash at 6:48 p.m. near highways 35 and 63, Hager City. Nothing was found.
  • Police spoke with multiple parties regarding an ongoing civil matter at 7:31 p.m. at 104 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City.
  • At 9:09 p.m., police requested an EMS evaluation on a highly intoxicated person at 1536 Cemetery Road, River Falls. They were transported by personal vehicle.

Sunday, Feb. 8

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 2:24 a.m. at County Road C and Main Street.
  • At 10:35 a.m., police spoke to a woman at W6388 Highway 35, Bay City, who was trespassed from a residence in Red Wing and had questions and concerns about being heard.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 12:50 p.m. at W1169 Maryann St., Spring Valley.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police, Ellsworth Fire and Ellsworth EMS with an OWI crash at 11:11 p.m. at 1536 N. Maple St.

Monday, Feb. 9

  • Officers responded to an assault at 12:50 p.m. at 1200 Henry St., Prescott. The assault took place in Minnesota, so it was forwarded to an agency there.
  • At 2:09 a.m., police were dispatched to N2941 320th, Maiden Rock, to check for a Pepin County runaway. She was located and released to her parents.
