The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 23-March 2, 2026.
Monday, Feb. 23
At 12:26 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a verbal altercation at N8281 965th, River Falls. The subjects were separated.
At 3:46 p.m., police found a vehicle in the ditch with damage at Highway 65 and 650th Avenue, Beldenville.
Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 3:48 p.m. at N5684 610th, Ellsworth. The vehicle left before police arrived and the property owner called it in.
Officers were informed of a dog found at 5:32 p.m. at N7815 County Road N, Spring Valley.
Deputies conducted a welfare check on an intoxicated man at 7:41 p.m. at W10299 Highway 10, Prescott. They found him a safe place to stay.
Police received an animal complaint at 8:30 p.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 9:08 p.m. at 310 Pine Ave. E., Plum City. The person was fine.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
Police responded for a standby and keep the peace call at 5:47 a.m. at N735 825th, Hager City. The subject noted items missing; officers provided him with statement forms.
At 10:40 a.m., a man at W4493 Highway 72, Ellsworth, called police when he lost power in his home. He was given Pierce Pepin’s number.
Officers responded to a mail theft complaint at 11:13 a.m. at W7925 180th, Hager City. They searched the area but could not find the described vehicle.
At 11:42 a.m., police located a signpost that had been struck by a vehicle at Highway 63 and 830th Street, Hager City.
Police responded to a gas drive off at 1:01 p.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The suspect’s father paid the store.
Deputies were dispatched to a mental health emergency at 4:15 p.m. at Pierce County Jail (555 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth). Buffalo County took the person into custody.
At 7:16 p.m., a caller reported loose cows constantly coming onto his property at N6624 570th, Beldenville. Police spoke to the owner about options.
Police responded to an unwanted subject complaint at 10:17 p.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. One man was arrested for a probation hold.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 11:48 p.m. at N6201 745th, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Wednesday, Feb. 25
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 3:27 a.m. at 1175 Jefferson St.
Officers assisted EMS at 4:31 a.m. at 635 W. Crest Lane.
At 6:19 a.m., police removed a vanity from the roadway and placed it on the shoulder at Main Street and Johnson Hill Road in Plum City.
A caller requested a welfare check on a suspicious vehicle at 8:08 a.m. at N7922 902nd, River Falls. It was gone when police arrived.
Officers conduct a welfare check on a woman at 8:30 a.m. at N2702 830th, Hager City. She reported having a difficult day but didn’t want any assistance.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 9:08 a.m. at Wildcat Court and Wasson Lane.
A possible unwanted person was reported at 7:18 p.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. The caller gave police permission to search a camper. No one was found.
At 7:20 p.m., neighbors reported a loud explosion and bright flash at N5076 860th, Ellsworth. No one answered the door. Everything appeared to be in order.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a traffic stop at 9:01 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road F.
Deputies assisted EMS at 9:38 p.m. at W7377 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
Thursday, Feb. 26
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:15 a.m. at 1200 S. Main St.
Police removed a two-wheeled dollie from the roadway at 12:01 p.m. at Highway 35 and 560th Street, Bay City.
Officers assisted EMS at 3:18 p.m. at N6381 County Road O, Ellsworth.
Police received information about a found Golden Retriever at 4:28 p.m. at N6704 County Road J, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 5:10 p.m. at 346 E. Wall St.
Officers received a noise complaint at 7:37 p.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. Both parties said they were fine and didn’t need assistance.
Police were dispatched to a welfare check at 7:52 p.m. at N1585 721st, Bay City. The complainant made contact with his family member.
Friday, Feb. 27
Deputies were dispatched to an animal complaint at 7:03 a.m. at N7171 1250th, River Falls. The dog owner said his dogs have shock collars and he didn’t believe they went onto the neighbors’ property. He was warned.
A caller reported finding an injured deer in the ditch at 7:09 a.m. at Highway 65 and 800th Avenue, River Falls. Police dispatched it.
Police responded at 2:29 p.m. for an unwanted subject at W7717 570th, Ellsworth. The subject was arrested for a probation hold.
Saturday, Feb. 28
Officers were dispatched to a 911 call at 1:33 a.m. at 620th Street and 300th Avenue, Bay City. Police located a motor vehicle crash; the driver was arrested for OWI-first.
At 3:02 a.m., a caller at N1090 825th, Hager City, reported threats being made. Police spoke to both parties.
At 8:49 a.m., deputies assisted Elmwood Fire and EMS with a possible burn victim after a small fire at 137 E. Center Ave., Elmwood.
At 9:47 a.m., a caller reported that a frozen culvert had resulted in washed out section of roadway at N6849 County Road CC, Spring Valley.
At 10:46 a.m., a subject reported the possible theft of another person’s items at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. He was told the owner would have to report the theft.
Deputies responded to a medical call at 11:08 a.m. at Welcome Home Assisted Living (1121 W. Industrial Road, Elmwood).
At 11:43 a.m., officers stood by while a subject removed property from N1435 810th, Hager City.
Officers assisted EMS at 2:37 p.m. at N7317 820th, River Falls.
Police were notified of an open gate at 3:24 p.m. at W5900 Highway 35, Bay City.
Deputies responded to a shooting complaint at 8:38 p.m. at N4117 710th, Ellsworth. No one knew where the shots came from.
Sunday, March 1
Officers assisted Prescott police at 2:47 a.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
Lifelink III transported someone by helicopter to Regions Hospital after a single-vehicle crash at 3 a.m. at Highway 10 and 1110th Street, Prescott.
Officers responded to a hit and run with minor damage at 9:58 a.m. at W312 Central St., Spring Valley. No suspects were located.
Officers assisted EMS at 10:18 a.m. at W9755 290th, Hager City.
Police were notified of a mailbox that had been burned at 12:44 p.m. at W9328 690th, River Falls.
At 8:26 p.m., Red Wing Fire transported an individual to the hospital from W7337 130th, Hager City.
At 9:20 p.m., deputies assisted Ellsworth police in locating a suicidal person in the 400 block of East Wall Street.
Deputies responded to a welfare check at 10:20 p.m. at S225 S. McKay Ave., Spring Valley. EMS evaluated them before they were given a courtesy ride home.
Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol with a crash at 11:52 p.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (north intersection), Hager City.
Monday, March 2
Police responded to a possible disturbance at 8:16 a.m. at N8020 920th, River Falls. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
Public Health requested a welfare check at 8:43 a.m. at W2801 230th, Maiden Rock. Everyone was fine.
Officers were dispatched at 10:14 a.m. for a deceased male found at N135 Newman Ave., Spring Valley.
An animal bite was reported at 10:24 a.m. at W7288 730th, River Falls.
