The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office Feb. 3-10.
Monday, Feb. 3
At 8:38 a.m., a property owner reported a ground blind had possibly been stolen at W1246 490th, Elmwood. The property owner was going to locate a phone number for the blind owner.
Deputies responded to a medical call at 9:23 a.m. to W10048 1005th, Hager City. A woman had fallen. Red Wing EMS also assisted.
At 10:41 a.m., a man who had defaulted on a speeding ticket was shouting at and recording Clerk of Court staff at 414 W. Main St., Ellsworth. When asked to leave, he shouted obscenities at deputies, but eventually left the courthouse.
At 1:51 p.m., police were notified a car went off the road and struck a fence at 720th Street and 690th Avenue near Beldenville.
At 1:58 p.m., police arrested a man for a Washington County (Minn.) warrant at 414 W. Main St., Ellsworth.
Police conducted a welfare check at 4:55 p.m. on a vehicle near Highway 63 and 825th Street (north intersection), Hager City. The vehicle was waiting for a repair truck.
At 7:22 p.m., police saw a suspicious vehicle parked at W7540 Highway 35, Hager City. The vehicle had been parked there to carpool.
At 8:26 p.m., a caller reported a possible assault that had occurred the previous day at 230 E. Race Ave., Elmwood. Officers interviewed all involved parties.
Tuesday, Feb. 4
At 8:30 a.m., a caller reported a branch over a high line at N6240 Highway 65, Beldenville. The line was not electrical.
A disorderly man was reported at 10:05 a.m. at W7876 County Road KK, Hager City. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
Police received an animal complaint at 2:19 p.m. at N3153 County Road OO, Hager City.
A restraining order violation was reported at 4:24 p.m. at W7960 370th, Ellsworth. A man was receiving text messages from his ex.
Deputies assisted River Falls police with a crash at 5:06 p.m. at Main and Foster streets.
Wednesday, Feb. 5
Police assisted EMS at 1:21 a.m. at 1495 Riverside Drive, River Falls.
Officers attempted a traffic stop at 1:23 a.m. at 224 N. Broadway St., Ellsworth. The driver walked away from her vehicle and hid in her residence. Police were able to speak with her before she darted back inside.
A deceased man was located inside a residence at 2:29 p.m. at N6438 790th, Beldenville.
Police were called at 3:02 p.m. to an 1170th Street address, Prescott, where a man was attempting suicide with a firearm. The man was taken into custody for an emergency detention.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a verbal argument at 7:50 p.m. at 414 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth.
Police were dispatched to a vehicle complaint at 10:02 p.m. at W6087 Highway 10, Ellsworth. Someone reported an employee for operating without a valid license. The vehicle was not located.
At 10:40 p.m., dispatch received a call about other worldly beings. Another jurisdiction responded to check on the caller.
Police responded to a one-vehicle crash with injury at 10:54 p.m. at 490th Street and 210th Avenue, Maiden Rock. The driver was arrested for OWI-third.
Thursday, Feb. 6
Officers were dispatched at 12:23 a.m. at 191 Evergreen Estates St., Ellsworth, for a domestic.
Police responded to a suspicious activity call at 12:33 a.m. at W1674 Highway 72, Elmwood. It was determined a woman was allowed to store items there.
Officers provided traffic control while a vehicle was towed from the ditch at 7:21 a.m. at 850th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
Police were dispatched to a vehicle vs. sign crash at 8:09 a.m. at Highway 72 and 170th Street, Elmwood.
At 10:43 a.m., a mail carrier reported that a dog ran out in front of a mail truck and was struck at N8826 1031st, River Falls. The owner said the dog appeared to be okay and they agreed to speak about the incident.
Police assisted EMS with a medical call at 10:52 a.m. at W8608 760th, River Falls.
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash with injury at 11:06 a.m. at County Road CC and 730th Avenue, Spring Valley. One driver later died from her injuries.
Police assisted EMS at 1:26 p.m. at N2238 County Road P, Elmwood.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 1:34 p.m. at N3461 50th, Arkansaw. The person was not located in the county.
Police responded at 3:13 p.m. to Highway 35 and County Road A, Maiden Rock, for a suicidal man in his vehicle. Officers forced entry into the vehicle and EMS transported the man to a hospital in Red Wing.
Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash with damage at 3:39 p.m. at 130th Street and County Road G, Elmwood.
At 4:13 p.m., a man was arrested for operating after revocation, failure to install ignition interlock device and felony bail jumping after a traffic stop at N1566 County Road VV, Hager City.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a death investigation at 5:02 p.m. at 1484 Walnut St., Prescott.
Officers were dispatched to a business alarm at 11:03 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City. All seemed to be in order.
Friday, Feb. 7
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries or road blockage at 7:09 a.m. at County Road EE and Highway 35, Bay City.
Officers assisted EMS with a call at 8:59 a.m. at W5336 799th, Spring Valley.
Deputies conducted a welfare check at 9:20 a.m. at 108 Blue Goose Hill Road, Plum City.
A sudden death was reported at 9:37 a.m. at 1484 Walnut St., Prescott.
Police responded to a drug complaint at 1:08 p.m. at 303 Hill Road, Plum City.
Officers were dispatched to a shooting complaint at 3:24 p.m. at N5562 County Road J, Ellsworth. A neighbor shooting scared cattle, causing a separation fence to go down. The caller said he’d talk to the neighbor himself.
Police spoke with a subject about possible trespassing issues at 4:11 p.m. at County Road V and 620th Street, Ellsworth. The complainant was going to forward trail camera photos to police.
Deputies assisted Elmwood police at 5:39 p.m. at Omaha Avenue and Main Street.
Officers responded to a business alarm at 10:37 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City. All doors were secure.
Saturday, Feb. 8
Police responded to a possible domestic at 12:48 a.m. at N6270 1323rd, Prescott. All parties agreed to separate for the night.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 1:45 a.m. on man parked at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive, Prescott. He had permission to stay there.
Deputies checked on a vehicle parked at the end of the driveway at 9:25 a.m. at 2050 Jefferson St., Prescott. A delivery driver was having trouble scanning a package and moved on.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:29 p.m. at Highway 10 and 870th Street, Ellsworth. Melstrom’s towed the vehicle.
Fraud was reported at 1:50 p.m. at S612 Buckley Court, Spring Valley.
At 6:23 p.m., a caller reported a possible burglary at W12154 Highway 29, Prescott.
Deputies were dispatched to an unwanted person at 7:17 p.m. at N5840 County Road BB, Ellsworth. The person left voluntarily and the residents were concerned about his well-being.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police and fire department personnel with a gas leak at 9:20 p.m. at 358 W. Main St.
Police responded to a business alarm at 10:38 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City.
Deputies were dispatched to a harassment complaint at 10:52 p.m. at N6189 740th, Beldenville. The threats appeared to be generic.
Officers received information on a loud noise coming from the area at 11:28 p.m. near 610th Avenue and Highway 65, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Sunday, Feb. 9
A missing person was reported at 2:48 a.m. at W3290 County Road G, Elmwood. As deputies were checking the area, the person returned home.
Suspicious activity was reported at 4:03 a.m. at County Road FF and 770th Avenue, River Falls. Nothing was located.
Police were called to a welfare check at 4:47 a.m. at W10055 County Road FF, River Falls. After contacting a friend of the victim, it was found to be a misunderstanding.
Officers assisted with a medical call at 9:05 a.m. at 142 Hill Ridge Court, Prescott.
Police responded to a medical call at 9:30 a.m. at N5642 1190th, Prescott. A man was transported to the hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a medical episode at 10:07 a.m. at W8026 390th, Ellsworth. The subject was pronounced dead.
Police responded to some kind of alarm going off at 11:21 a.m. at 309 E. Race Ave., Elmwood. When they arrived, officers located multiple exterior surveillance cameras mounted to the side of the house. The owner said moisture in the air sometime sets them off.
Police located a loose cow at 4:21 p.m. near W5944 County Road V, Bay City. Its owner was able to get it back into fence.
A restraining order violation was reported at 6:22 p.m. at W7960 370th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 7:31 p.m. at Maple and Main streets.
Monday, Feb. 10
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 3:18 a.m. at 122 Orange St.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 9:17 a.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
