The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Jan. 12-20, 2026.

Monday, Jan. 12

  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a vehicle in the roadway at 7:43 a.m. at Cemetery Road and Highway 65. A tow removed the vehicle.
  • At 9:40 a.m., police responded to W7149 Highway 29, River Falls, where dead animals had been dumped on the property. There was no evidence to identify a suspect. The property owner removed the animals from the road.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 10:48 a.m. at 258 N. Beulah St.
  • Police responded to a property damage complaint at 10:48 a.m. at W1581 210th, Plum City. A suspect was arrested for criminal damage to property and two failure to appear warrants.
  • At 12:23 p.m., a complainant reported receiving a harassing text message from a family member at W9203 Highway 10, Ellsworth. They decided to have another family member reach out to the susp
  • The coroner was summoned at 1:22 p.m. to W12082 620th, Prescott.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 1:29 p.m. at Ellsworth High School (323 Hillcrest St.)
  • Officers stood by while a subject collected property at 2:34 p.m. at N8370 County Road W, River Falls.
  • Deputies stood by to assist Ellsworth police at 3 p.m. at 511 Vincent Lane.
  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with a vehicle search at 4:04 p.m. at county roads B and I.
  • At 5:19 p.m., a caller reported their dog missing at N1340 452nd, Maiden Rock.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

  • A possible bail bond violation was reported at 6:15 a.m. at W3515 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. Police made contact with the complainant, who was wanted. He refused to exit a bedroom but was finally arrested. He refused to give any information on the complaint he had emailed about.
  • At 7:01 a.m., a welfare check was requested on a man walking on Highway 65 near County Road O. He was walking legally but refused to speak to police.
  • At 9:26 a.m., a caller reported their mailbox had bee struck by a vehicle overnight at N2836 County Road CC, Maiden Rock.
  • At 11:26 a.m., a complainant reported a suspicious person and vehicle in her driveway on a Ring camera at 223 E. Main St., Ellsworth. They were at the wrong address to pick up a dog.
  • At 1:01 p.m., police received information on a dog missing from W2945 County Road G, Elmwood.
  • Fraud was reported at 1:24 p.m. at 308 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City. Money was taken without consent.
  • At 3:30 p.m., police received information about a person sleeping in a storage unit at W7858 170th, Hager City. The person was not located.
  • Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol with a traffic stop at 3:45 p.m. at Highway 63 and 535th Street, Spring Valley.
  • At 7:46 p.m., a caller requested a deputy be in the area of N1917 670th, Bay City, during a vehicle transaction.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

  • Police were called about an unwanted subject at 8:34 a.m. at N4117 710th, Ellsworth. He left before police arrived.
  • Deputies assisted Public Health and Solid Waste with a home visit at 9:10 a.m. at W6799 170th, Bay City.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 1:12 p.m. at N1354 County Road EE, Bay City.
  • A dog was found at 2:05 p.m. at county roads C and V, Ellsworth.
  • At 4:24 p.m., a caller found a dog near 650th Street and Highway 29, River Falls, and took it to a vet to identify the owner. The owner was located. Police checked the dog’s residence, where plenty of food and water were available.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:42 p.m. at N339 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. Nothing was found.
  • Two people were arrested after a traffic stop at 10:09 p.m. at 770th Street and Highway 63, Hager City. In the vehicle, police located MDMA, controlled substances and boxes of THC vapes.

Thursday, Jan. 15

  • Deputies responded to a semi vs. horse crash at 2:42 a.m. at highways 63 and 72, Ellsworth.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 10:26 a.m. at W7635 165th, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS at 5:45 p.m. at N3648 County Road D, Bay City. The person was transported to a hospital by private vehicle.
  • At 9:39 p.m., officers saw a suspicious vehicle at N1000 Foote Ave., Spring Valley. One occupant had a Department of Corrections warrant. A K9 sniff of the vehicle located meth inside.

Friday, Jan. 16

  • Police performed a welfare check at 7:28 a.m. at W7802 490th, Ellsworth. He was given updated information on someone in the hospital.
  • At 7:43 a.m., deputies assisted fire department personnel with signs of smoke in a home at N7296 710th, Beldenville.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 8:15 a.m. at N6602 720th, Beldenville.
  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 2:56 p.m. at W1153 Whitetail Run.
  • At 4 p.m., a caller reported animals near the road at 1170th Street and 620th Avenue, Prescott. The town chair was going to go check.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 5:36 p.m. at N5452 170th, Elmwood.
  • Officers received a suspicious activity complaint at 10:17 p.m. at N8201 975th, River Falls. The caller found footprints leading up to his vehicles in the driveway, then someone leaving in an unknown vehicle. River Falls police checked the area but found no one.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a crash at 11:19 p.m. at Hill and Northview streets.
  • Officers responded to a vehicle slide-in at 11:44 p.m. at Highway 63 and County Road Y, Spring Valley. The driver was arrested for OWI-fifth.

Saturday, Jan. 17

  • Deputies assisted Red Wing EMS at 8:35 a.m. at W8075 170th, Hager City.
  • At 11:28 a.m., Red Wing Mayo Hospital reported a dog bite that had occurred at N1482 770th, Hager City. Police made multiple efforts to contact the dog’s owner.
  • Police saw a loose dog running at 12:33 p.m. on Highway 35. A neighbor told police the dog runs loose often. Officers contacted the owner at W9835 301st, Hager City, and gave them a warning.
  • At 2:03 p.m., police assisted a property manager in checking a vacant storage unit at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City. The owner thought someone was living in it. Nothing was out of place and no one was found.

Sunday, Jan. 18

  • Deputies responded to a business alarm at 10:12 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. Nothing was found.
  • Deputies assisted RF police in trying to locate someone from a welfare check at 9:19 p.m. at Main Street and Cemetery Road.
  • At 10:15 p.m., a caller reported a man making concerning statements at N4620 County Road CC, Elmwood. The man told police he was fine.
  • At 11:10 p.m., deputies assisted with traffic control while a vehicle was pulled from the ditch at Highway 63 and County Road Y, Spring Valley.
  • Deputies were dispatched for a suspicious vehicle at 11:15 p.m. at Highway 10 and 390th Avenue, Ellsworth. The sole occupant was arrested for OWI-10th and for making threats to police.
  • At 11:31 p.m., police received a tip about an underage party at N7890 986th, River Falls. Nobody was located.

Monday, Jan. 19

  • Police were asked to respond to a welfare check at 8:20 a.m. at N4954 Highway 63, Ellsworth. A dog had been killed and a man was arrested.
  • A welfare check was requested on a man walking at 9:14 a.m. near Highway 63 and County Road VV, Hager City. Police saw the man earlier, who walks the area often, and he was fine.
  • The coroner was called at 12:05 p.m. to 301 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City.
  • At 4:59 p.m., a driver left his vehicle in a private driveway at N7521 Highway 65, River Falls. He said he’d get it removed.
  • A business alarm sounded at 6:50 p.m. at N7916 902nd, River Falls. It was a false alarm.
  • Cows were reported in the road at 7:45 p.m. at 850th Avenue and Highway 128, Spring Valley. The owner removed them.
  • Deputies assisted RF police at 8:35 p.m. at 1567 Sullivan Court.
  • A caller reported suspicious activity at 10:22 p.m. at W3430 650th, Spring Valley. Nothing was out of place.

Tuesday, Jan. 20

Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 12:24 a.m. at S345 Hidden Fox Court, Spring Valley. All seemed to be in order.
