Pierce County Sheriff’s Office reports Jan. 20-27

The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office Jan. 21-27.
Tuesday, Jan. 21
Deputies assisted Elmwood police at 9:43 a.m. at 326 E. Winter Ave.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 10:59 a.m. at 358 W. Main St.
At 1:10 p.m., a complainant reported an orange/white Manx cat with no tail missing from N3842 750th, Ellsworth.
Police responded at 2:50 p.m., to W8726 440th, Ellsworth, where a vehicle had struck a mailbox earlier in the day. Contact was made with all parties involved.
At 6:53 p.m., police located and stopped a vehicle at 456 W. Main St., Ellsworth, that had been involved with a Prescott police suspicious activity call. Police searched the vehicle after seeing drug paraphernalia in plain view. The driver was arrested for possession with intent – methamphetamine, possession with intent – THC, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possess drug paraphernalia, possession of firearm by felon, possession of stolen firearm and a probation hold.
Police were asked to respond at 9:41 p.m. to W7306 161st, Hager City, for a mental health welfare check. A person was taken into custody on a mental health emergency detention.
Officers were asked to conduct a welfare check on a man on the side of the road at 9:45 p.m. at Highway 35 and 150th Avenue, Hager City. They were tied up on another call.
Deputies responded to an alarm at 11:13 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City. All doors were secure.
Wednesday, Jan. 22
Officers were dispatched to a home alarm at 3:21 a.m. at W7767 County Road J, Beldenville. The homeowner advised it was a false alarm.
At 8:51 a.m., a village worker reported seeing a door wide open in the cold at N1335 Pine St., Bay City. The owner said the wind blew it open and everyone was fine.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 11:44 a.m. at 122 N. Third St.
Police were asked to stand by and keep the peace during a transaction at 2:59 p.m. at W1961 890th, Spring Valley.
An older black dog with long hair was found wandering in a field at 5:05 p.m. near Ellsworth off Highway 63.
An intoxicated person was reported at 6:27 p.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City. They were not located.
Deputies assisted RF police at 8:16 p.m. at 405 S. Wasson Lane.
Deputies assisted EMS with a person reporting heart attack symptoms at 9:05 p.m. at W2467 Highway 72, Elmwood.
Thursday, Jan. 23
At 9:32 a.m., officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at an abandoned property at W4622 Highway 72, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
At 12:57 p.m., a complainant called wanting graffiti removed from a retaining wall at Chestnut Street and Highway 35, Maiden Rock.
Officers assisted at a structure fire at 2:13 p.m. at W7215 155th, Bay City.
Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol with a traffic stop at 3:17 p.m. at County Road KK and 800th Street, Ellsworth. The driver tried to flee and the vehicle was towed.
Officers responded at 5:19 p.m. to N1563 Highway 63, Hager City, for a possible domestic. Reports were sent to the district attorney’s office.
A restraining order violation was reported at 7:47 p.m. at W7960 370th, Ellsworth. Police left the suspect a voicemail.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a driving complaint/traffic stop at 8:21 p.m. at N6240 Highway 65, Beldenville.
Friday, Jan. 24
Officers responded at 12:18 p.m. to a 911 call in which a woman could be heard yelling in the background at W7876 County Road KK, Ellsworth. Two people said they were having a verbal argument and agreed to separate.
Deputies assisted EMS at a medical call at 7:42 p.m. at N673 825th, Hager City. One woman was transported to the hospital.
Police responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 10:04 p.m. at County Road CC and Highway 29, Spring Valley. The male driver left the scene and was found walking nearby. He was arrested for OWI, going armed while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon.
Deputies were dispatched to an ongoing mental health emergency at 10:16 p.m. at River Falls Area Hospital (1629 E. Division St.) The person was transported to a mental health facility in Winnebago.
Saturday, Jan. 25
Police responded to a business alarm at 12:52 a.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City. Everything was found to be secure.
At 4:37 a.m., a caller reported a man walking around the residence and pulling on door handles at W4420 Highway 29, Spring Valley. It’s reportedly an ongoing issue. A man was cited for trespassing.
Deputies responded to a fire alarm at 11:02 a.m. at W8560 770th, River Falls. The owners were onsite but didn’t know the pass code.
Suspicious activity was reported at 1:44 p.m. at W6894 610th, Ellsworth.
Police were dispatched to a standby and keep the peace situation at 4:29 p.m. at N3172 490th, Bay City. All parties were cooperative and property was exchanged.
At 5:30 p.m., a woman left Plum City Care Center (301 W. Cherry Ave.) She was found by staff.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a welfare check at 8:08 p.m. at 266 E. Main St.
Police were called at 9:12 p.m. to Sugars (N1620 County Road VV, Hager City) for a disorderly subject. Both parties were interviewed and police determined no crime had been committed. Police gave both parties a ride home to Red Wing.
A caller reported an intoxicated person at 10:30 p.m. at N4306 Highway 63, Ellsworth. No one at the bar matched the complainant’s description.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley and Elmwood EMS with a medical call 11:33 p.m. at W1568 710th, Spring Valley.
Sunday, Jan. 26
Police found horses out in the roadway at 7:31 a.m. at County Road CC and 370th Avenue, Maiden Rock. The owner took the horses back home.
A caller reported cattle out at 12:28 p.m. near 670th Street and 580th Avenue, Ellsworth. They were returned home before police arrived.
Deputies were called to a vehicle fire at 12:51 p.m. at N4909 710th, Ellsworth. The driver said he turned the key, heard a loud bang and the engine compartment started on fire.
Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a welfare check at 1:29 p.m. at 280 N. Maple St. A person was arrested for bail jumping.
Police were called at 3:09 p.m. to the Woodshed (N1090 825th, Hager City) for a male who assaulted the owner.
Deputies assisted EMS at 4:14 p.m. at N6403 County Road N, Beldenville.
Monday, Jan. 27
Officers were dispatched at 12:18 a.m. to a possible disorderly subject at N8281 965th, River Falls. Nothing was found.
An unoccupied vehicle was found in the ditch at 6:45 a.m. at N358 197th, Stockholm. A tow was called and the owner notified.
