The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office Jan. 27 through Feb. 3.

Monday, Jan. 27

  • At 11:12 a.m., police spoke to a man about a civil matter at 818 Main St., Plum City. He had taken an item to a shop two years ago to be fixed, but never got it back. The shop owner agreed to return the item.
  • At 2:52 p.m., officers received a tip about a suspicious vehicle dropping off bags of items on people’s porches near W8473 760th, River Falls. The driver would then sit in his vehicle in driveways in the neighborhood. He was not located.
  • Police assisted EMS in providing care at 11:10 p.m. at W1131 Whitetail Run, Spring Valley.
  • At 11:56 p.m., police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at a closed business at 1003 First St., Plum City. The driver had blown out a tire and the vehicle marked for removal.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 28

  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:52 p.m. near W3532 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. It wasn’t located.
  • At 6:30 a.m., police were called to a single-vehicle rollover crash near N4380 Highway 35, Prescott. The driver said he swerved to miss a deer. No one was injured.
  • At 1:32 p.m., police received a call from a man at W5971 130th, Bay City, about a vehicle parked on his property. It turned out to be someone who was allowed to be there.
  • Deputies were dispatched at 4:45 p.m. to a theft/fraud complaint at W8192 975th, River Falls.
  • Officers assisted Red Wing EMS with a medical at 6:23 p.m. at W9778 290th, Hager City.
  • Deputies, Ellsworth EMS and Ellsworth police responded at 8:36 p.m. to a fight in progress at Pierce County Jail (555 W. Overlook Drive).
  • Police responded to a domestic dispute at 11:33 p.m. at 519 W. May Ave., Elmwood. A man was arrested for multiple charges.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 29

  • Deputies assisted with a medical call at 3:22 a.m. at N3825 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
  • Officers assisted the Department of Revenue with an inspection at 11:24 a.m. at 600 Main St., Plum City.
  • A missing person was reported at 3:43 p.m. at W8625 830th, River Falls. The person was located and returned to the residence.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 7:02 p.m. at 560 N. Maple St.
  • At 7:53 p.m., a caller at W7932 150th, Hager City, reported ongoing issues with a subject known to police. They checked the area, but didn’t locate anyone.

 

Thursday, Jan. 30

  • Deputies assisted at a medical call at 8:21 a.m. at 680 W. Lucas Lane, Ellsworth.
  • Officers assisted in putting out a small fire that started next to a structure at 11:57 a.m. at W10294 370th, Prescott.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:37 p.m. at River Falls High School (818 Cemetery Road).
  • Officers responded to a vehicle vs. guard rail crash at 3:41 p.m. on Highway 29, River Falls. The driver was arrested for OWI-first and failure to notify police of accident.
  • At 4:25 p.m., police located a vehicle on the side of the road with its flashers on at 940th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. Further investigation revealed the subjects were trespassing at an abandoned property. Police spoke with the owner.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle vs. dog accident at 5:08 p.m. at Highway 65 and 790th Street, Beldenville. A third party came by and took the dog to a vet clinic, but it was believed to be dead.
  • At 7:34 p.m., officers located a vehicle operating without lights on at Spruce and Maple streets in Ellsworth. The driver refused to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI-first.

 

Friday, Jan. 31

  • Police were dispatched to an unwanted subject call at 12:48 a.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. This location has had multiple noise complaints. The subjects willingly engaged in mediation, exchanged phone numbers and came to a mutual agreement.
  • A caller reported someone walking along the roadway at 6:05 a.m. at N8838 1160th, River Falls. They were not located.
  • Police responded to a single-vehicle crash without injury at 4:33 p.m. at W11009 County Road M, River Falls.
  • Deputies and Ellsworth police assisted with a civil standby at 5:39 p.m. at W6856 490th, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies assisted RF police with an unwanted subject at 6:14 p.m. at 1450 S. Wasson Lane.
  • Deputies assisted RF police with a traffic stop at 11:22 p.m. at Spring and Spruce streets.
  • A wanted man was arrested without incident at 11:48 p.m. at W3541 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.

 

Saturday, Feb. 1

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 2:18 a.m. at Crosstown Road and 730th Street, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 2:21 a.m. at 141 S. Maple St.
  • Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at 2:28 a.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City. The male suspect fled the scene before police arrived. He was found the next day and arrested for multiple domestic-related offenses.
  • A landowner called police at 9:55 a.m. to report a vehicle parked on his property next to the county park at N4402 County Road HH, Elmwood. The subject was panning for gold in the park; he was told to remove his vehicle.
  • At 10:12 a.m., a loaded firearm was found in the parking lot at N673 825th, Hager City. The firearm came back as stolen and officers contacted the reporting agency.
  • A missing dog was reported at 10:41 a.m. at W7485 855th, River Falls.
  • At 12:43 p.m., a caller reported a tree down on a possible power line at 610th Avenue and Highway 65, Ellsworth.
  • At 4:03 p.m., a tree fell on a moving vehicle in the northbound lane on County Road at Highway 65, River Falls. The occupants were not injured.
  • Deputies responded to a verbal domestic at 6:12 p.m. at W11979 Highway 10, Prescott. The parties agreed to separate for the night.
  • An open door was found at a residence at 8:23 p.m. at W8750 Highway 35, Hager City. The building was cleared and everything made secure.

 

Sunday, Feb. 2

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 12:42 a.m. at Main and Oak streets.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 1:12 a.m. at Main and Chestnut streets.
  • At 6:37 a.m., a caller reported suspicious activity at 63 Express (N1817 785th, Hager City). The lights were going off with people inside, then the open sign was shut off and people left. Police made contact with the owner.
  • A woman was reported deceased at 9:56 a.m. at 1121 W. Industrial Road, Elmwood.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a standby at 2:29 p.m. at 803 Kinnickinnic St.
  • Officers assisted at the scene of a grass fire at 3:29 p.m. at W10558 Highway 29, River Falls.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disturbance at 3:53 p.m. at 100 W. Grove St.
  • At 4:52 p.m., a caller reported two stray dogs on his property at N5296 330th, Elmwood.
  • Deputies assisted RF police at 6 p.m. at 1218 State St. and again at 6:08 p.m. at Main Street and Cemetery Road.
  • At 6:13 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the cemetery at W9044 690th, River Falls. The vehicle left before police arrived.
  • A possible missing person who had not returned after running an errand was reported at 6:34 p.m. at N7926 610th, Beldenville. The subject was lost in Wabasha, Minn.

 

Monday, Feb. 3

  • Police checked on a man laid back in his seat parked in a 15-minute parking slot at 7:41 a.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The car smelled of marijuana and police saw a baggie of it in plain view.
  • Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash without injury at 7:55 a.m. at W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
