The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office July 7-14, 2025.
Monday, July 7
At 3:57 p.m., a motorist complained of road construction with no flaggers in the middle of a hill at Highway 63 and 210th Avenue, Hager City. Police contacted the project manager.
Police picked up and discarded fishing debris at 8:33 p.m. at W501 Eau Galle Dam Road, Spring Valley.
Tuesday, July 8
Suspicious activity was reported at 5:44 a.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City.
Problems with a neighbor’s dogs were reported at 8:14 a.m. at W8363 County Road K, Hager City.
At 9:14 a.m., police attempted contact with a woman at N2315 140th, Plum City, who reported a man knocking on her door.
At 10:23 a.m., police spoke to a resident about break-in concerns in the area at W9247 800th, River Falls.
At 1:44 p.m., police checked on a paving crew that was blocking the roadway in an unsafe manner at Highway 65 and 740th Street, Beldenville. Officers advised them of safely directing traffic in the future.
At 4:39 p.m., officers were notified of two vehicles that had driven through road closed barricades at County Road CC and Highway 72, Elmwood. One driver said the barricades were on the shoulders, so he thought he could drive through. The other vehicle wasn’t located.
Suspicious activity was reported at 8:09 p.m. at 570th Street and Highway 35, Bay City.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 10:08 a.m. at 454 High Point Drive.
Wednesday, July 9
A caller reported at past-action burglary at 9:12 a.m. at N7501 1250th, River Falls. They collected information and photos.
At 1:34 p.m., officers spoke with a man about vehicles parked on his property at N5591 Highway 63, Ellsworth. They didn’t come back as stolen.
At 3:36 p.m., police received a complaint of loose cattle on the roadway at County Road Y and Highway 29, Spring Valley. None were located.
A missing goat was reported at 9 p.m. at W6762 County Road V, Ellsworth. The goat was found.
At 9:21 p.m., deputies spoke to a man who was camping at the airport (W7145 148th, Bay City). He was a pilot stopping for the night and had permission from airport staff.
Thursday, July 10
Officers were informed of a loose horse at 12:03 a.m. near county roads C and V, Ellsworth. They couldn’t find it.
At 1:35 a.m., police checked on an occupied vehicle parked illegally in the roadway at 385th Street and County Road A, Maiden Rock. The minors had open alcohol containers and marijuana.
Suspicious activity was reported at 3:55 a.m. at county roads G and N, Ellsworth (El Paso).
At 6:50 a.m., a woman reported her horses had escaped at N3297 County Road C, Ellsworth. She found them shortly after she called.
Police spoke with people regarding a harassment complaint at 11:03 a.m. at W1854 130th, Maiden Rock.
At 3:06 p.m., deputies assisted Ellsworth police in locating a wanted subject at 412 W. Kinne St. The subject was found and arrested for a Pierce County warrant.
Officers received a suspicious activity call at 4:57 p.m. at N5917 1170th, Prescott. A man was given a courtesy ride.
A complainant reported barking dogs at 5:13 p.m. at N8855 1031st, River Falls.
Deputies assisted River Falls police with a domestic at 8:07 p.m. at 715 South Fork Drive.
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check request at 8:09 p.m. at Highway 10 and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth. The person in question wasn’t found.
At 8:28 p.m., deputies spoke with a man about ongoing trespassing complaints at W2801 230th, Maiden Rock. They provided him additional advice.
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 8:38 p.m. at County Road U and 120th Street, Plum City. The driver had a flat tire and was waiting for their brother.
At 9:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to vehicles near an abandoned residence at N8712 862nd, River Falls. The vehicles were gone when police arrived. No one was in the house.
Friday, July 11
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 2:36 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Court streets.
Officers were dispatched to cows in the roadway at 3:49 a.m. at W6196 Highway 10, Ellsworth. None were located. Dispatch left a message for the possible owner.
Damage to a mailbox was reported at 7:20 a.m. at N7267 County Road BB, Spring Valley. Scene investigation indicated an impaired driver struck the mailbox the night before.
At 8:40 a.m., police were informed of someone who lost money to someone on the internet at W2686 390th, Elmwood.
At 9:13 a.m., a man stopped into the Clerk of Courts office (414 W. Main St., Ellsworth) to complete paperwork. Deputies were informed he had a warrant and swiftly apprehended him.
A fraud attempt was reported at 10:46 a.m. at N3397 490th, Ellsworth. No money loss occurred.
Police performed a welfare check at 2:56 p.m. at N4742 1065th, Prescott. Friends said they hadn’t heard from him in a few days. He was fine and said he’d overslept when he was supposed to meet friends.
At 3:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to a flatbed truck hauling a tractor that had rolled backwards down an embankment on private property at W3754 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.
Cows were loose in the roadway at 8:02 p.m. at W5944 County Road V, Bay City. The owner was working on getting them secured.
Suspicious activity was reported at 9:35 p.m. at 570th Street and Highway 35, Bay City.
Police were dispatched to a welfare check at 9:39 p.m. at W8385 Highway 10, Ellsworth. EMS transported someone to the hospital.
At 10:21 p.m., a resident at W8108 76oth Ave., River Falls, reported smelling smoke and worried about possible wildfires. It was a neighbor having a campfire.
A caller reported suspicious activity at 11:04 p.m. at N8052 925th, River Falls. Nothing was located.
Saturday, July 12
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 2:39 a.m. at W11265 Highway 10, Prescott. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
At 11:44 a.m., a caller notified police of items missing from a storage shed at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City.
At 3:59 p.m., deputies assisted someone who fell outside at W9398 710th, River Falls.
Deputies assisted children in finding a lost cell phone at 7:46 p.m. at Ellsworth Middle School (312 Panther Drive).
At 8:28 p.m., officers spoke with two people regarding an ongoing civil dispute at W7930 180th, Hager City.
At 10:50 p.m., a resident at 431 S. Main St., Elmwood, reported they were receiving prank phone calls. Police weren’t successful when trying to call them back.
Sunday, July 13
At 4:41 a.m., police responded to 515 Main St., Plum City, regarding possible found narcotics.
An injured eagle was reported at 6:13 a.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. It wasn’t located.
At 7:20 a.m., police assisted in getting loose cattle put back in their pasture at 610th Street and Highway 10, Ellsworth.
At noon, a car struck a deer which flew into a motorcycle at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley.
A cat was found at 1:02 p.m. at N8481 690th, River Falls.
Police responded at 1:34 p.m. to W601 210th, River Falls, for someone with no pulse who was not breathing.
Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 4:15 p.m. at W10108 500th, Hager City.
At 4:19 p.m., police checked on a man W7635 165th, Hager City. He was having phone troubles, which was why he didn’t answer his family.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at 6:45 p.m. at N2689 770th, Hager City. A woman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
Monday, July 14
Suspicious activity was reported at 9:16 a.m. at N7789 Highway 65, River Falls.
