The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office June 2-9, 2025.

Monday, June 2

  • Police assisted a tree company with traffic control as they dropped a tree near the roadway at 9:04 a.m. at County Road F, Prescott.
  • Deputies assisted Elmwood police at 12:45 p.m. at Spruce and Race avenues.
  • At 2:20 p.m. police received reports of a black bear near W7485 Highway 65, Beldenville. They tried to find it to warn it to stay away from the bar, but couldn’t find it.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 4:25 p.m. at 803 Main St., Plum City. All was well.
  • Deputies were dispatched to assist fire personnel at 7:13 p.m. at W12661 714th, River Falls. They were cancelled before arrival.
  • Officers assisted Ellsworth Fire with a grass fire at 8:46 p.m. at N2491 650th, Bay City.

 

Tuesday, June 3

  • At 9:38 a.m., a caller at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, reported someone had come to his door. He was no longer there and the resident didn’t know who it was.
  • At 10:13 a.m., a woman reported a black bear in her backyard at N7894 County Road W, River Falls. She was advised to leave it be and it would move along.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a traffic stop at 11:03 a.m. at 241 N. Broad St.
  • At 12:10 p.m., police spoke to a caller with questions about property line issues at W4025 570th, Ellsworth.
  • Police responded to single-vehicle crash in which the driver failed to stop at Highway 65 and 920th Street, River Falls. The suspect was located and arrested after performing field sobriety tests.
  • The township was notified of a tree covering the roadway at 1:25 p.m. near County Road EE and 170th Avenue, Bay City.
  • A complainant reported a dumpster diver at 3:27 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City, but police found no one matching the description.
  • Police were dispatched at 6:04 p.m. to verify a possible stolen item at W6398 450th, Ellsworth. The subject allowed police to see the item and it was not the one in question.
  • Two lost dogs were reported at 6:17 p.m. at County Road F and 820th Avenue, River Falls.
  • Police were asked to check out a suspicious vehicle at 7:59 p.m. at 819 First St., Plum City. Since the vehicle was parked on private property, police advised the property owner they could have it towed.
  • Police were dispatched to help locate a missing person at 8:02 p.m. near 803 Main St., Plum City. They were found and transported to the hospital by EMS.
  • A welfare check was requested at 8:41 p.m. on people at W5114 210th, Maiden Rock. Everyone was fine with no issues. Police answered questions about custody issues.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident at 11:34 p.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. Both parties’ stories were inconsistent. There were no signs of a physical altercation.

 

Wednesday, June 4

  • Officers were notified of a disorderly person at 12:30 a.m. at N1950 County Road D, Bay City. The subject left before police arrived; they did not locate them.
  • Police were called back to a domestic at 1:06 a.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. The parties refused to answer the door or the phone.
  • Police checked on a vehicle parked in a field drive at 8:12 a.m. at N3002 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. The parties were hanging up moth boxes.
  • At 1:17 p.m., a school van failed to yield the right of way at county roads C and V, Ellsworth, drove into the intersection and was struck by a combine.
  • Police responded to a medical call at 4:05 p.m. at 128 Main St. EMS handled the call.
  • At 4:41 p.m., police checked for a man reportedly laying in the grass near 951 E. Division St., River Falls. The intoxicated man was walking home and refused a ride.
  • Police checked on a suspicious person at 5:08 p.m. near W5902 490th, Ellsworth. They said they were fine.
  • At 7:39 p.m., a subject was arrested for a failure to appear warrant at 109 N. Main St., Elmwood.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at 8:39 p.m. at W7740 520th, Ellsworth. Nothing was out of place.

 

Thursday, June 5

  • Officers were notified of a vehicle in the ditch at 1:17 a.m. at Highway 65 and 820th Street, River Falls. The vehicle had no damage and was tugged out of the ditch.
  • Police found a loveseat on the side of the road at 9:37 a.m. at Cemetery Road and Highway 29, River Falls.
  • Officers confronted an unwanted subject at 11:25 a.m. at Pillar Bank (409 Main St., Plum City). He was given a courtesy ride and told he was not welcome there.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:01 p.m. at W7460 140th, Hager City.
  • At 2:14 p.m., a rock fell out of a dump truck and hit a windshield at Highway 35 and 1240th Street, Prescott. The parties decided to handle it on their own and exchanged information.
  • Police helped out at a medical call at 2:40 p.m. at N887 385th, Maiden Rock.
  • At 2:42 p.m., police took a fraud complaint involving Bitcoin at N6074 610th, Ellsworth.
  • At 5:03 p.m., police saw a man laying next to a bicycle at County Road M and 1060th Street, River Falls. He was resting before going on his way.
  • At 6:20 p.m., police received multiple reports of people and vehicles on the property at N4065 150th, Plum City. When police checked, there was no evidence anyone had been there.

 

Friday, June 6

  • A suspicious person was reported at 6:40 a.m. near Pepin and Fifth streets, Bay City. They were not found.
  • Deputies responded to a business alarm at 7:27 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. Contractors were working at the site.
  • At 8:14 a.m., a resident reported a stop sign that had bullet holes near her home at W2395 410th, Elmwood. It was believed to have occurred prior to June 5.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 9:03 a.m. at 509 Mitchell St.
  • At 1:35 p.m., police took a complaint of a vehicle putting another vehicle in the ditch at 1536 N. Maple St.
  • A home alarm sounded at 2:11 p.m. at N8048 330th, Spring Valley. The homeowner said it was a false alarm.
  • A civil matter was reported at 4:29 p.m. at W8396 640th, Ellsworth.
  • Police were dispatched to a damage complaint at 5:47 p.m. at W5398 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police in attempting to find a suicidal subject at 9:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Lawrence Street.

 

Saturday, June 7

  • Deputies and Ellsworth police were dispatched to a disorderly person complaint at 1:40 a.m. at N5651 450th, Ellsworth. The parties agreed to separate for the night. A
  • At 4:39 a.m., police responded to a vehicle crash at Highway 65 and 830th Avenue, River Falls. The driver left the scene and when found, refused to perform field sobriety tests. They were arrested for OWI-first.
  • At 9:11 a.m., deputies assisted Ellsworth police in locating a suspect from an incident at 181 E. Main St.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 10:34 a.m. at S830 Westland Drive, River Falls.
  • At 11:44 a.m., a resident reported a possible crash and trespassing at N6383 750th, Beldenville.
  • At 12:24 p.m., officers received an animal complaint at W1740 850th, Spring Valley. They were advised to contact the township.
  • Police responded to a possible brush fire at 1:04 p.m. at W3525 Park St., Maiden Rock. The village had failed to call dispatch regarding a controlled burn.
  • At 1:09 p.m., police were called to W7928 180th, Hager City, for an ongoing trespassing issue. The suspect had walked two steps into the complainant’s yard while mowing. He was warned but refused to speak to officers further.
  • At 5:32 p.m., police were asked to check the area around N5962 425th, Ellsworth, after a woman was heard screaming. Several people were interviewed but nothing was located.
  • Racing motorcycles were reported at 8:36 p.m. near 862nd Avenue and 1160th Street, River Falls. They were not located.
  • A theft was reported at 8:54 p.m. at S412 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. Two juveniles received warnings about trespassing.
  • At 9:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting/fireworks complaint near W12034 497th, Prescott. Nothing was located.
  • At 10:20 p.m., staff at Sugars (N1620 County Road VV, Hager City) wanted a subject removed from the club. They left in a taxi without incident.
  • A disorderly person was reported at 11:18 p.m. at W11265 Highway 10, Prescott. A man agreed to remove himself for the night.

 

Sunday, June 8

  • Police were dispatched to a noise complaint at 1:38 a.m. at W1049 Red Fox Run, Spring Valley. They were advised to turn down the music.
  • A cell phone theft was reported at 1:53 a.m. at Sugars in Hager City.
  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 2:18 a.m. at W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley. Everything seemed to be fine.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a suspicious person call at 3:03 a.m. at 838 N. Grant St.
  • Police were dispatched at 5:03 p.m. to N605 County Road S, Maiden Rock for a welfare check. A man was transported to the hospital.
  • At 5:24 p.m., a caller requested a welfare check on a man not seen in over a week at W9138 148th, Bay City.

Monday, June 9

  • At 1:37 a.m., police received a report of someone walking along the railroad tracks at Highway 35 and 150th Avenue, Bay City. An extensive research revealed no one.
  • At 2:38 a.m., police checked on a female walking on the side of the road near Highway 63 and 810th Street, Hager City. She was given a courtesy ride to her residence.
  • At 6:34 a.m., police came across a one-vehicle rollover atN6383 Highway 65, Beldenville.
