The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office June 23-30, 2025.
Monday, June 23
At 1:35 p.m., police responded N8028 Highway 29, River Falls for a found pedal bike. It was taken into evidence for safekeeping.
Police were dispatched at 2:36 p.m. to N8107 330th, Spring Valley, for a car that struck a tree, causing damage to the car’s rear.
At 2:53 p.m., police were informed of possible stolen mail located in a parked vehicle at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City.
A caller expressed concern about suspicious vehicles parked in a lot at 7:34 p.m. near 180th Avenue and 785th Street in Hager City. They requested extra patrol at night.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 7:38 p.m. at 263 S. Maple St.
Officers were dispatched to an animal complaint at 9:19 p.m. at N7521 Highway 65, River Falls. Nothing was found.
Tuesday, June 24
Police conducted a traffic stop for obstructions hanging in the rearview mirror at 1:25 a.m. at highways 63 and 35, Hager City. The driver was arrested for multiple drug charges.
Officers responded to a civil dispute over a car at 8:27 a.m. at W7717 570th, Ellsworth. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
At 9:37 a.m., a caller reported their neighbor’s dog continuously coming into their yard at W1157 Maryann St., Spring Valley. Police left a voicemail for the dog’s owner.
A loose dog was located at 10:55 a.m. near County Road M and 880th Avenue, River Falls. It was reunited with its owner.
Police assisted EMS at 11:56 a.m. at N8192 975th, River Falls.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 1:14 p.m. at W7802 490th, Ellsworth. They assisted the hospital who was trying to reach her.
Deputies were dispatched to a harassment call at 2:10 p.m. at W6390 Highway 35, Bay City. Both parties became disorderly and were separated.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a warrant arrest at 2:51 p.m. at 161 Tower Road.
At 3:52 p.m., officers were notified of a missing barricade/sign with flashing beacons that was taken sometime between Friday, June 20 and the morning of June 24 at county roads CC and G, Elmwood.
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 5:55 p.m. at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. The man said he wasn’t a danger to himself or others.
At 7:38 p.m., a complainant reported a female and vehicle trespassing at W8544 Highway 35, Hager City. She wasn’t located; the property owner had given her permission to be there.
Horses were on the road at 9:06 p.m. at W2571 890th, Baldwin. They were secured in a pen.
Police responded to a juvenile complaint at 9:58 p.m. in the S200 block of Newman Avenue, Spring Valley. A juvenile male drinking alcohol had become upset with his mother. The situation was resolved.
Wednesday, June 25
Police were dispatched to an unwanted person call at 12:21 a.m. N8416 710th, River Falls. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Officers performed a welfare check at 9:45 a.m. at W6331 Main St., Bay City. The man was healthy and fine.
At 1:56 p.m., a woman at W11142 840th, River Falls, complained of a neighbor target practicing. She was informed he has a right to target practice on his own property.
At 2:41 p.m., an anonymous caller reported lewd activity at W7422 County Road O, River Falls. They immediately hung up and provided no further information.
Police stood by at 3:32 p.m. while the Wisconsin Department of Revenue seized a truck at W2171 County Road S, Maiden Rock.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic at 5:06 p.m. at W1233 County Road G, Elmwood.
At 5:22 p.m., deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol responded to W7717 570th, Ellsworth, for a man violating a no contact order who was trespassing on private property. He was arrested and taken to Pierce County Jail.
At 5:55 p.m., water was reportedly over the roadway near W4563 Highway 72, Ellsworth. The highway department put up caution signs.
At 6:44 p.m., police were dispatched to take a threats complaint at N3539 570th, Bay City. A suspect made possible threatening comments on social media.
At 7:27 p.m., police notified the highway department of a washed-out roadway at Highway 72 and a county road near Elmwood. The State Patrol provided traffic control.
A downed tree was blocking the roadway at 8:52 p.m. at 220th Street and 265th Avenue, Maiden Rock. Police notified the township.
Officers checked on a vehicle parked in the DNR lot at 9:36 p.m. at W8586 Highway 35, Hager City. No one was around.
Thursday, June 26
Police checked on suspicious activity at 12:39 a.m. at W7740 520th, Ellsworth. Someone was loading their music equipment.
Officers assisted EMS at 1:32 a.m. at W3262 730th, Spring Valley.
Police responded to a possible crash at 5:52 a.m. at 150th Street and 330th Avenue, Plum City. The driver was arrested for OWI-fifth or sixth, felony bail jumping and operating after revocation.
Cattle were reported out in the roadway at 8:23 a.m. at 570th Avenue and 1000th Street, Hager City. They were back in a fenced area when police arrived.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police and Pierce County Human Services at 9:08 a.m. at 404 High Point Drive.
A possible burglary was reported at 9:58 a.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a juvenile complaint at 11:44 a.m. at Ellsworth Elementary (445 S. Piety St.)
Water was reported over the road at 3:16 p.m. at N5591 170th, Elmwood. The township took care of the issue.
The highway department was notified of water over the roadway at 4:32 p.m. at 265th Avenue and County Road S, Plum City.
Police performed a welfare check at 5:01 p.m. at W7306 161st, Hager City.
At 6:40 p.m., officers assisted the township in removing a downed tree from 620th and 650th streets, Hager City.
Officers were dispatched at 9:39 p.m. to N6499 Highway 63, Beldenville, for a disorderly person. Police arrested the person who was trying to use his vehicle to pull out a sign. He was arrested for OWI-first
At 9:59 p.m., a woman reported cows in the roadway near N5830 County Road BB, Ellsworth. They were not located.
Deputies and Prescott police were dispatched to a suspicious activity report at 11:08 p.m. at W12034 497th, Prescott. All seemed to be in order.
Friday, June 27
Deputies assisted EMS at 4:26 a.m. at W6525 150th, Bay City.
Deputies observed an unoccupied vehicle at 5:02 a.m. on the side of the road near 587 W. Lucas Lane, Ellsworth. No contact was made with anybody.
Police assisted the highway department in removing a tree from the roadway at 6:23 a.m. at County Road O and 370th Avenue, Hager City.
At 9:59 a.m., police located a tree partially blocking the southbound on County Road B near Highway 29. It was hanging over a guardrail.
A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:51 p.m. at County Road A and Highway 35, Maiden Rock. Police looked for it but couldn’t find it.
Possible theft was reported at 1:19 p.m. at W6324 Highway 35, Bay City. The suspect was trespassed from the store.
At 1:40 p.m., police received a report of animals out in Kinnickinnic State Park (W11983 820th, River Falls). The DNR warden handled the call.
At 4:02 p.m., a citizen at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, gave officers information on the end of the world.
A Chocolate Lab was found at 7:43 p.m. at County Road EE and Cemetery Road, Bay City.
At 9:28 p.m., deputies noticed a vehicle parked in an odd place at W3525 Park St., Maiden Rock. It was unoccupied.
Officers responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash at 10:49 p.m. at Main Street and Maple Avenue in Plum City. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
Runaway cows were reported at 11:50 p.m. at N8511 1160th, River Falls.
Saturday, June 28
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 12:10 a.m. at 1220 St. Croix St.
At 12:21 a.m., police checked the area near 710th Street and 410th Avenue, Ellsworth, for people operating lasers. Nothing was found.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:47 a.m. at 1733 Wisconsin St.
Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:24 a.m. at W8207 570th, Ellsworth. Officers found alcohol in the woods near the vehicle. A parent had picked up the passengers but the driver was at the scene. After interviews were conducted, police mailed citations for underage alcohol consumption, obstructing an officer and failure to control vehicle.
Officers assisted EMS with a medical at 6:26 a.m. at W6482 Highway 35, Bay City.
Police were dispatched to a disagreement between two people who live together at 9:01 a.m.at N7848 535th, Spring Valley.
A caller reported a cow on the side of the road at 12:02 p.m. at 515th Avenue and County Road C, Ellsworth. The owner was enroute to get it.
At 1:30 p.m., officers conducted a welfare check on a man with possible mental health issues at N8715 250th, Spring Valley. He was escorted back to his residence and Northwest Connections was contacted.
A man was cited for trespassing at 5:21 p.m. at W7928 180th, Hager City.
Deputies assisted EMS at 7:03 p.m. at N4701 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 7:04 p.m. at N6378 County Road CC, Elmwood. Everything was fine.
Deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol were dispatched to a motorcycle crash at 7:44 p.m. at Highway 35 and 301st Avenue, Hager City. EMS transported the operator to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Police received a fireworks complaint at 9:51 p.m. at N1582 County Road C, Hager City. They were done for the night.
Someone complained of fireworks occurring at 10:58 p.m. at W6649 Maple St., Bay City. They were advised to get a permit next time.
Sunday, June 29
Police received a noise complaint at 12:49 a.m. at W11828 County Road FF, River Falls. The homeowner said they’d turn the music down.
Officers provided safety lights while the highway department removed a tree from the road at 2:19 a.m. at County Road B and Highway 128, Spring Valley.
Deputies and Prescott police responded to a home alarm at 6:23 a.m. at W12034 497th, Prescott. Everything was fine.
Officers were notified of an unwanted subject at 10:44 a.m. at W7425 130th, Hager City. The homeowner stated everything was fine; she didn’t want them to respond.
Police assisted EMS with a medical at 11:46 a.m. at W6615 Maple St., Bay City.
A complainant found a deceased 44-year-old man at 12:05 p.m. at W1568 710th, Spring Valley.
Suspicious activity was reported at 12:20 p.m. at 210 S. Chestnut St., Ellsworth. The suspect vehicle was not located.
A motorcycle theft was reported at 1:02 p.m. at W7932 150th, Hager City. The suspect said he’d bring the bike back the next week. The complainant was fine with that resolution.
At 1:58 p.m., deputies responded to W5073 190th, Maiden Rock, for a cattle ownership dispute.
Police responded to a motorcycle crash with injuries at 3 p.m. at N4758 450th, Ellsworth.
At 3:06 p.m., extra patrol was requested at N7804 902nd, River Falls. The caller thought someone might be casing the storage units there after finding the cameras all turned to point at the sky.
Police received an illegal dumping/trespassing complaint at 3:10 p.m. at N4648 710th, Ellsworth. Someone came onto the property without permission and left items there.
Suspicious activity was reported at 10:17 p.m. at W6305 Elsa Ave., Bay City.
Police found a vehicle parked in front of storage units at 11:19 p.m. at W7858 170th, Hager City. It was unoccupied.
Monday, June 30
Officers responded to a home alarm at 1:05 a.m. at N4630 1150th, Prescott. Everything was secure.
A business owner reported at burglary at 5:17 a.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City.
