The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office June 30 through July 7, 2025.

Monday, June 30

  • At 9:06 a.m., a caller reported a cow had been illegally dumped on his property at W3361 730th, Spring Valley.
  • Police notified the township of a tree partially in the roadway at 11:15 a.m. at N6716 720th, Beldenville.
  • Police were notified of a work crew creating a hazard at 1:16 p.m. at 890th Avenue and County Road B, Spring Valley. They were off the roadway and visible.
  • Police spoke to a resident about a civil matter at 1:24 p.m. at W1568 710th, Spring Valley.
  • A suspicious person was reported at 2:32 p.m. at W7449 Highway 29, River Falls. The caller was advised to call police if the vehicle returns and check the home for stolen belongings.
  • Police addressed a miscellaneous civil matter at 2:43 p.m. at W5073 190th, Maiden Rock.
  • Officers received an animal complaint at 5:45 p.m. at 242 Legacy Court, River Falls.
  • Police were notified of fraud at 5:50 p.m. at N8355 330th, Spring Valley. The complainant had withdrawn money from her bank account and deposited it through digital means to an unknown account/location.
  • A forklift overturned at 6:24 p.m. at 870th Avenue and 650th Street, River Falls. The driver reported no injuries or damage.
  • At 6:30 p.m., a resident at Spring Valley Health & Rehab (S830 Westland Drive) reported being assaulted by an employee. The facility is conducting an investigation.
  • A possible theft was reported at 7:41 p.m. at N4909 710th, Ellsworth. After speaking with the complainant, police determined no crime occurred.

 

Tuesday, July 1

  • An anonymous caller requested extra patrol in the area of Highway 29 and 890th Avenue, Spring Valley, due to suspicious activity at 8:27 a.m.
  • At 6:06 p.m., police assisted with traffic control while a home was being delivered at N4940 710th, Ellsworth.
  • At 6:24 p.m., police took a report at W7478 135th, Hager City, of someone’s debit card being used without their consent.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 9:44 p.m. with an arrest at 115 S. Fourth St.
  • At 10:03 p.m., police found an electric bike in the ditch at Highway 29 and Westland Drive, Spring Valley. No owner was located; the bike was taken to SV EMS for safekeeping.

 

Wednesday, July 2

  • Polie assisted EMS at 3:12 a.m. at N2470 70th, Elmwood.
  • Deputies were informed of an intoxicated juvenile at 4:46 a.m. near Highway 65 and 690th Avenue, Beldenville. The juvenile’s father was trying to get him home and he ran off. He continued to ignore law enforcement and was arrested. He was transported to his residence and released to his parents.
  • Police assisted EM at 6:39 a.m. at N5470 760th, Ellsworth.
  • At 7:33 a.m., a caller reported suspicious activity at 570th Avenue and 210th Street, Elmwood. A police officer had been dispatching a deer the previous night.
  • Police responded to a trespassing and retail theft report at 9:35 a.m. at 1003 First St., Plum City. The suspect was located and arrested.
  • A semi struck a guardrail at 12:38 p.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. The driver was arrested for OWI-second.
  • Vandalism/criminal damage to property was reported at 12:57 p.m. at N8018 747th, River Falls.
  • A mailman backed into a garage door on private property at 1:20 p.m. at W11052 754th, Prescott. An accident report was completed.
  • At 2:03 p.m., a caller reported suspicious activity at N2384 140th, Plum City. A vehicle had driven past the property several times. Police verified the suspect went home then followed up with the complainant.
  • A missing dog was reported at 8:40 p.m. at W3542 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.
  • At 10:10 p.m., a caller reported lasers being shined at planes near highways 63 and 35, Hager City.

 

Thursday, July 3

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 12:35 a.m. at 112 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 2:03 a.m. at 1450 S. Wasson Lane.
  • Deputies assisted jail staff with a disorderly subject at 4:58 a.m. at Pierce County Jail.
  • A possible theft was reported at 9:28 a.m. at W9740 Highway 10, Hager City. Police will conduct follow-up with family.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 10:18 a.m. at 111 N. Main St., Elmwood. She said she was fine and didn’t need assistance.
  • A tree was removed from the roadway at 1:06 p.m. at Highway 63 and 390th Avenue, Ellsworth.
  • Police were asked to stand by and keep the peace at 3:28 p.m. at 108 Eau Galle Drive, Elmwood. The complainant advised police the roof inspector had left. The husband wanted it documented.
  • At 5:38 p.m., a caller asked police to dispatch his rabid dog at N8511 1160th, River Falls. Another solution was reached.
  • At 5:58 p.m., police took a civil complaint at W2872 County Road G, Elmwood, about property not part of an agreement being used. The woman wanted people off her property.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 6:36 p.m. at W9806 Highway 35, Hager City.
  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 8:45 p.m. at W12452 655th, Prescott. It was unoccupied and all seemed to be in order.
  • At 11:01 p.m., a resident reported hearing a possible crash near County Road QQ and 1090th Street, Prescott. Nothing was located.

 

Friday, July 4

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 12:11 a.m. at Maple Street and Midway Avenue.
  • Police investigated a possible assault at 1:40 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
  • Police responded to a weapons call at 3:04 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
  • At 3:21 a.m., a complainant reported juveniles stealing chairs at N9852 290th, Hager City. The area was checked and all seemed in order. The owner said they’d call back if anything was missing.
  • Police responded to a business alarm at 4:26 a.m. at N8057 920th, River Falls. Suspects had attempted to break into the business.
  • Officers received a fireworks complaint at 10:27 a.m. at W7409 Highway 65, Beldenville.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a warrant arrest at 10:31 a.m. at 101 N. Maple St.
  • Property damage was reported at 11:24 a.m. at N8891 County Road P, Spring Valley.
  • Officers assisted the DNR with fishing checks at 2:07 p.m. at 690th Avenue and 450th Street, Beldenville.
  • Police assisted with a medical call at 2:10 p.m. at County Road D and Highway 35, Bay City.
  • Deputies received a fireworks complaint at 8:35 p.m. at N8222 950th, River Falls. The residents with the large fireworks set-up had proper documentation.
  • Police received a fireworks complaint at 9:11 p.m. at N8057 920th, River Falls. The proper permits had been obtained.
  • At 11:37 p.m., police received a fireworks complaint about fireworks at Sugars (N1620 County Road VV, Hager City).

 

Saturday, July 5

  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 1:51 a.m. at 237 Young St. N.
  • Horses were found in the roadway at 3:28 a.m. at Highways 63 and 72, Ellsworth. They were returned to their owner.
  • Police assisted jail staff with an inmate issue at 7:53 a.m. at Pierce County Jail.
  • At 9:33 a.m., officers spoke with a subject about garbage found on their property at W6085 720th, Beldenville. Police attempted contact with the garbage owner at their residence.
  • At 9:54 a.m., a caller reported seeing a bear cross the road at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • An unresponsive man was found in his bedroom at 10:28 a.m. at 316 N. Young St., Prescott.
  • The highway department was informed of a fallen tree at 1:16 p.m. at county roads FF and F, River Falls.
  • Police assisted Elmwood EMS at 4:30 p.m. at 323 W. Winter Ave.
  • Officers were notified of a possible bond violation at 11:53 p.m. at W7678 770th, River Falls. A subject was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping.

 

Sunday, July 6

  • Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol at 12:07 a.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City.
  • Police were dispatched to a car vs. skid steer crash at 12:11 a.m. at County Road V and 590th Street, Bay City.
  • Officers responded to a home alarm at 12:27 a.m. at N8064 925th, River Falls. The homeowners didn’t notice anything missing, but other similar suspicious activity has been occurring in the area.
  • A caller reported intoxicated minors at 2:06 a.m. near W12391 850th, River Falls. They were not located.
  • An unresponsive man was located at 8:04 a.m. at W7694 163rd, Hager City. He was deceased.
  • Police assisted EMS with a medical at 9:31 a.m. at W5107 370th, Bay City.
  • Police responded to a gun complaint at 12:44 p.m. at W6379 Main St., Bay City. The subject was not carrying a gun. Probation was contacted.
  • Officers notified the highway department of a washed-out culvert at 3:03 p.m. at 450th Street and Highway 72, Ellsworth.
  • Police assisted EMS with a medical at 3:09 p.m. at W6454 Highway 35, Bay City.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 4:37 p.m. at N1837 County Road K, Hager City.
  • Officers were dispatched to a threat complaint at 6:45 p.m. at 385th Street and County Road A, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 11 p.m. at 139 W. Wilson Ave., Elmwood. The parties were separated for the night.

 

Monday, July 7

  • Officers assisted Prescott police with a welfare check at 12:37 a.m. at 110 Cherry St.
  • A caller reported finding two dogs at 9:25 a.m. at N5447 1200th, Prescott.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 9:54 a.m. at W8190 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The man accused his daughter of trying to stir up drama and said he was fine.
