The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office March 10-16.
Monday, March 10
A missing cat was reported at 1126 a.m. at W7836 490th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 3:27 p.m. at Van Buren Road and Highway 29.
Police were notified of a roadway flooding at 5:52 p.m. near County Road O and 480th Avenue, Hager City. The highway department was also notified.
At 7:21 p.m., a caller notified police of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the same field drive multiple times throughout the day near W11094 620th, Prescott. Two juveniles said they had stopped to eat. The driver was warned for driving without a license and the parent notified.
Officers responded to a possible house fire at 7:57 p.m. at Main Street and Pine Avenue, Plum City. The fire department advised no additional response was needed.
A lost dog was reported at 8:44 p.m. at 296 Towns Valley Road, River Falls. The dog was found.
At 9:13 p.m., police were notified of lasers being pointed at aircraft about 5 miles west of the Red Wing Airport. Nothing was located.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 10:53 p.m. at 1538 N. Maple St.
Police were dispatched to a disorderly person complaint at 11:34 p.m. at N7211 Highway 65, River Falls.
Tuesday, March 11
At 9:35 a.m., police responded to a vehicle in the ditch at N1090 825th, Hager City. The driver said he lost control the night prior and would call for a tow truck. He received a warning.
Cows were on the loose at 9:40 a.m. at N4962 County Road CC, Elmwood. They were secured.
Officers received an open 911 call at 10:30 a.m. at 132 Pine Ave. E., Plum City. The building had no signs of a disturbance.
At 3:26 p.m., a caller at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, reported seeing AI cameras on his property. He didn’t want law enforcement to respond and said he would call back once the cameras were located.
At 3:48 p.m., a caller reported someone sitting in a suspicious vehicle at W6396 Highway 35, Bay City. They were gone when police arrived.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:13 p.m. at 1170th Street and Highway 10, Prescott. Both parties refused EMS and the vehicles were towed.
At 4:29 p.m., police spoke with parties at N1428 County Road EE, Bay City, about conversations posted on Facebook. They were both told to stop speaking to each other.
Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash with property damage at 6:06 p.m. at Highway 10 and 510th Street, Ellsworth.
A caller reported a possibly injured eagle at 7:13 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1220th Street, Prescott. By the time police arrived, it had flown off in to the woods.
Wednesday, March 12
At 5:18 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle in the middle of the roadway at N6402 790th, Beldenville. The operator said it was being towed to his residence and the tow strap broke. He was warned for not calling in the incident.
At 5:44 p.m., police checked on an occupied vehicle parked on the side of the road at W6894 610th, Ellsworth. The driver was arrested for possession of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia, operating after revocation (alcohol related), and felony bail jumping.
Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash without injury at 8:14 a.m. at W2110 Highway 72, Elmwood.
Police arrested a man with a warrant at 10:28 a.m. at 430 E. Main St., Ellsworth.
A missing dog was reported at 12:27 p.m. at N1475 62nd, Plum City.
Officers were dispatched to a grass fire at 12:50 p.m. at W7103 135th, Bay City. The fire was put out.
At 2:45 p.m., deputies assisted Pierce County Crisis with a violation of a commitment order than turned into an emergency detention at Ellsworth High School (323 W. Hillcrest St.)
At 2:58 p.m., a caller reported meat being dumped into a stream at 640th Avenue and 1000th Street, River Falls.
At 3:43 p.m., deputies were notified of a vehicle that had been called for a tow on private property at N4605 1068th, Prescott. A person was arrested for obstructing an officer, possession of cocaine, possess drug paraphernalia and cited for operate without valid license.
Deputies assisted EMS at 7:21 p.m. at W12617 770th, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a probation violation at 7:34 p.m. at 265 N. Broadway St.
Thursday, March 13
At 12:41 a.m., a caller reported vague civil issues at W10758 468th, Prescott. The call back number went to a hotel in Colorado with no way of getting ahold of the complainant.
At 1:20 a.m., police checked on people walking on the side of the road at Highway 63 and 825th Street (north intersection), Hager City. They were walking to the Woodshed and didn’t need assistance.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a mental health call at 6:23 a.m. at 216 S. Flora St.
At 10:04 a.m., a caller reported a domestic incident that occurred the day before at 2:45 p.m. at W4347 640th, Ellsworth.
At 10:52 a.m., a caller reported a loose Yellow Lab running near County Road F and 820th Avenue, River Falls.
At noon, family members at N2950 985th, Hager City, referred a man to the ADRC for memory-related issues and becoming violent with family.
Police received an animal complaint at 12:37 p.m. at N2302 County Road K, Hager City.
Deputies responded to a domestic at 12:38 p.m. at N2950 985th, Hager City. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery. He was transported to the Pierce County Jail, then out-of-state to a hospital.
Deputies were asked to respond at 1:27 p.m. to 122 W. Shaw Ave., Elmwood, for a medical emergency. EMS transported the patient prior to police arrival.
Police received an animal complaint at 1:37 p.m. at N5591 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
Officers were dispatched to a business alarm at 1:53 p.m. at W7966 140th, Hager City. The keyholder responded to the scene.
Deputies were dispatched to a grass fire at 3:04 p.m. at N3561 650th, Ellsworth.
Suspicious activity was reported at 3:53 p.m. at N6240 Highway 65, Beldenville.
Officers were notified of a theft at 4 p.m. at W8568 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The complainant said items had been taken on two separate occasions.
Police responded to a mental health emergency at 7:18 p.m. at N3739 Highway 35, Prescott. A man willingly went to a hospital.
At 8:25 p.m., the FAA notified police of multiple laser pointing incidents in the area of 770th Street and 165th Avenue, Hager City. Nothing was found.
Suspicious activity was reported at 10:21 p.m. at 640th Avenue and 1000th Street, River Falls. Nothing was found.
Friday, March 14
Police performed a welfare check on a woman with low blood sugar at 3:05 a.m. at N3474 50th, Arkansaw. She was woken up and given orange juice.
At 6:10 a.m., a complainant reported an issue with a man staying on his property at N7111 820th, River Falls. He said the man yells and makes a lot of noise throughout the day. He wanted the incident documented.
Police were notified of a business alarm at 6:42 a.m. at W7966 140th, Hager City. The keyholder said the trains sometimes set off the system.
At 9:18 a.m., police spoke with a subject regarding a phone threat at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The subjects agreed to communicate via lawyers.
Police responded at 11:36 a.m. to W702 County Road G, Elmwood, for violation of a no contact order and a check fraud complaint.
At 12:56 p.m., a caller reported several juveniles trespassing in a wooded area at N6502 720th, Beldenville. The subject was informed of the laws and advised to stay out of the area.
A home alarm sounded at 1:58 p.m. at N7480 County Road BB, Ellsworth. No issues were found.
At 2:45 p.m., a caller reported a mailbox that had been hit by a vehicle at N8820 790th, River Falls.
At 2:55 p.m., police conducted a standby during a property retrieval at N8199 940th, River Falls.
Deputies were dispatched to a disorderly person complaint at 4:54 p.m. at W8651 690th, River Falls.
At 5:31 p.m., police responded to a report of someone burning a flowerbed at W7340 130th, Hager City. They were advised of burn permits required in the county.
At 5:50 p.m., police responded to a civil dispute over property in which a verbal agreement was made three months prior at N4857 790th, Ellsworth. Both parties were given options. An unwanted subject was reported at the property at 6:21 p.m.
At 6:26 p.m., police were notified of a vehicle blocking the Maiden Rock Public Works Department at W3505 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. After multiple attempts to reach the registered owner, the vehicle was towed.
Deputies were dispatched to an assault at 9:34 p.m. at the Woodshed (N1090 825th, Hager City). A subject was located and arrested for substantial battery and posses drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, March 15
Downed power lines were reported at 12:12 a.m. at W7092 610th, Ellsworth. Pierce Pepin was also notified.
At 1:29 a.m., a caller reported their neighbors’ dog barking all night long at W11195 County Road M, River Falls. She wished for officers to follow up at a later time.
Police removed a tree from the road at 1:55 p.m. at 610th Avenue and 670th Street, Ellsworth.
At 2:29 p.m., police located a damaged traffic sign at Industrial Road and Maple Street, Ellsworth. The village public works department was notified.
Deputies and Elmwood police were dispatched to a report of a boulder in the road at 5:08 p.m. at Highway 72 and 630th The highway department was notified.
Deputies and Elmwood police assisted Spring Valley police at 6:43 p.m. at W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Sunday, March 16
Police were dispatched to a medical emergency at 12:45 a.m. at W9880 795th, River Falls. An ambulance arrived on scene.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 2:44 a.m. at Maple Street and Crosstown Road.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a mental health emergency at 2:57 a.m. at 826 Orange St. Police learned the subject was in River Falls and that department was notified.
Police were asked to perform a welfare check at 3:38 a.m. on a woman at N8420 County Road W, River Falls. She was fine.
A road sign theft was reported at 11:30 a.m. at County Road DD and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth. The highway department was notified.
A mailbox damaged by a vehicle was reported at 1:35 p.m. at W3975 890th, Baldwin.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disturbance at 6:43 p.m. at 591 N. Maple St.
Suspicious activity was reported at 8:43 p.m. at 109 N. Main St., Elmwood.
