The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office March 3-10.

Monday, March 3

  • Police responded to a man going through withdrawals and wanting to go to the hospital at 9:06 a.m. at W12074 620th, Prescott. Human Services was contacted about a minor child staying a neighbor’s.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 9:38 a.m. at W7340 163rd, Hager City.
  • Police assisted EMS at a medical at 10:31 a.m. at N7974 Highway 65, River Falls.
  • A license plate was located at 12:43 p.m. at N4620 County Road CC, Elmwood. Police were able to reach the owner through Buffalo County; he said he didn’t even know the plate was missing.
  • Police responded to a deer vs. motorcycle crash at 3:13 p.m. at highways 128 and 72, Elmwood. The cyclist wasn’t injured.
  • Deputies responded to a harassment call at 5:23 p.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City. The business owner wanted the person warned for trespassing if located.
  • Deputies located an abandoned vehicle at 6:07 p.m. at the High Bridge in Hager City. It was tagged for removal.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported near the roadway at 8:24 p.m. at W7727 Highway 10, Ellsworth. It was a police squad.
  • A suspicious person was reported at 9:09 p.m. at N7890 986th, River Falls. The individual was coyote hunting.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 9:49 p.m. at highways 10 and 29.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical call at 11:10 p.m. at N6725 County Road J, Ellsworth.

 

Tuesday, March 4

  • Police conducted a welfare check on a woman at 1:16 a.m. at highways 63 and 29 near Martell. She was given information to help with her situation.
  • At 9:59 a.m., a woman at N1123 375th, Maiden Rock, spoke to police about dogs running around her property.
  • Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a welfare check at 2:51 p.m. at 355 W. Main St.
  • At 2:55 p.m., a man was taken into custody for a Juneau County warrant at 414 W. Main St., Ellsworth.
  • At 4:21 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle pulling onto his property at W7582 490th, Ellsworth. It was a family member who had permission to be there.
  • Deputies and Red Wing EMS assisted in delivering a baby at 6:25 p.m. at N1683 835th, Hager City.
  • Police were dispatched to a suicide attempt at 6:45 p.m. at N4854 County Road O, Ellsworth. The person was taken voluntarily to a hospital.
  • Officers received a suspicious person call at 7:53 p.m. at W2901 230th, Maiden Rock. The caller didn’t want officers to respond, but to be aware of the situation.
  • Officers were informed of a stranded motorist (due to weather conditions) at 8:18 p.m. at 1200th Street and 526th Avenue, Prescott. The electric car was running out of battery.
  • Police were dispatched to an accident at 8:50 p.m. at Highway 10 and 560th Avenue West, Prescott. The vehicle had no damage. The driver said his arm was hurting and was evaluated by EMS.
  • Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash at 9 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1180th Street, Prescott. A tow removed the vehicle.
  • Police assisted with a vehicle stuck at 9:12 p.m. at Highway 65 and 820th Street, Beldenville.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a multi-vehicle slide-in at 9:50 p.m. at county roads F and FF, River Falls. The highway department was notified and the vehicle were able to get out.

 

Wednesday, March 5

  • Police assisted a semi truck having trouble on the West Hill at Highway 10 and Hill Street, Ellsworth, at 12:17 a.m.
  • Deputies observed two vehicle stuck in the roadway at 1 a.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. One driver had a cancelled license; they were arrested for operate without valid license – fourth and misdemeanor bail jumping.
  • At 1:36 a.m., police were notified of more vehicles stuck at county roads F and FF, River Falls. Tows could not access the location in Clifton Hollow; police said plow drivers were aware.
  • Vehicles were stuck in the road at 1:41 a.m. at Highway 35 and 1150th Street, Prescott. A tow was called to remove them.
  • Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle slide-in at 1:47 a.m. at Highway 65 and 740th Street, Beldenville. A tow responded to remove it.
  • Vehicles were reported stuck on Highway 35 south of Prescott at 1:55 a.m. and 2:17 a.m. One tow truck became stuck while responding, so another had to go out.
  • Police assisted a disabled semi at 2:48 a.m. at 610th Avenue and Highway 65, Ellsworth.
  • At 3:11 a.m., officers were notified of vehicles in the ditch at County Road Y and Highway 63, Martell, that were waiting for plows and tow trucks.
  • At 3:22 a.m., the highway department reported a vehicle in the ditch at N4883 County Road OO, Hager City.
  • A box truck was stuck at 4:39 a.m. at Highway 35 and 1150th Street, Prescott.
  • Police were notified of a broken power pole at 4:47 a.m. at County Road C and 170th Avenue, Hager City. The power company was notified.
  • Officers located a vehicle in the ditch at 6:13 a.m. at 950th Street and 690th Avenue, River Falls.
  • Police were advised of an accident with no damage at 6:17 a.m. at Highway 29 and 900th Street, River Falls.
  • A tow was called to pull a vehicle out of a snowdrift in the traffic lane at 6:31 a.m. at 1073rd Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
  • Police and a neighbor assisted in getting a vehicle unstuck at 6:41 a.m. at County Road K and 840th Street, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 7:16 a.m. at 519 W. Johnson St.
  • Police located a fallen tree branch at 7:23 a.m. at Highway 128 and 770th Avenue, Spring Valley. They notified the highway department.
  • At 7:36 a.m., police assisted in getting several vehicles unstuck at 1110th and 1100th streets, Prescott.
  • Police responded to a vehicle stuck on the side of the road at 7:39 a.m. at 690th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. The driver was waiting for a tow.
  • Police were notified of a vehicle slide-in at 7:42 a.m. off Highway 35, south of Prescott. The vehicle was marked and off the road.
  • Several stalled vehicles were stuck on a slippery hill at 7:59 a.m. at Second Street and Golfview Drive, Spring Valley. Spring Valley Public Works was called to assist and all vehicles were safely removed.
  • Police located two vehicles in the ditch at 8:16 a.m. at Highway 35 and 1150th Street, Prescott. A tow company removed one of them.
  • Police and a tow truck responded to a semi in the ditch at 8:52 a.m. at Highway 63 and County Road Y, Martell.
  • Officers were dispatched for vehicle with damage in the ditch at 9 a.m. at county roads F and FF, River Falls. They stood by while a tow removed the vehicle.
  • A tow removed a vehicle stuck in the lane of traffic at 9:09 a.m. at N3731 County Road O, River Falls.
  • Three vehicles were found left in the roadway and stuck at 9:12 a.m. at W1961 265th, Maiden Rock. A tow was called.
  • Police responded to a one-vehicle crash without injury at 9:25 a.m. at County Road BB and Highway 72, Ellsworth.
  • Officers were dispatched to a person experiencing stroke symptoms at 9:28 a.m. at W4276 120th, Maiden Rock. The family decided to self-transport.
  • Police were called to a two-vehicle crash without injury at 9:37 a.m. at 1073rd Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
  • Police found a vehicle in the ditch at 10:23 a.m. at W8050 County Road J, Beldenville.
  • Deputies assisted a motorist in getting unstuck at 10:54 a.m. at 410th Avenue and County Road D, Ellsworth.
  • Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash without injury at 11:09 a.m. at N7239 County Road P, Elmwood.
  • Police located a vehicle in the ditch at 11:16 a.m. at County Road F and 1250th Street, Prescott. The driver was working on finding an available tow.
  • At 12:21 p.m., police stopped a snowmobile for illegally operating on a closed roadway at 321 S. Utility St., Ellsworth. He was told to update the snowmobile’s registration and complete a snowmobile safety certification.
  • At 12:45 p.m., police assisted EMS in gaining access to a home at N7317 820th, River Falls. They helped EMS get the patient loaded.
  • Police located a vehicle slide-in at 1:40 p.m. at Highway 72 and 387th Street, Ellsworth. The vehicle was not occupied.
  • Officers responded to a vehicle slide-in at 2:09 p.m. at Highway 10 and 530th Avenue, Hager City. The vehicle was able to get out on its own.
  • Officers provided safety lights while a vehicle was removed at 6:09 p.m. from 610th Avenue and Highway 65, Ellsworth.

 

Thursday, March 6

  • Police assisted at the scene of a structure fire at 5:26 a.m. at W2141 70th, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police in investigating a sexual assault at 6:12 a.m. at a 920th Street address, River Falls.
  • At 8:23 a.m., police were informed of a damage to a yard at N8064 925th, River Falls, related to a sexual assault case on 920th Street.
  • A woman called police at 12:50 p.m. when she became stuck in a driveway at W8486 530th, Ellsworth. Police assisted her in getting out.
  • Vandalism was reported at 5:30 p.m. at W6510 Main St., Bay City.
  • Police conducted a welfare check on a man at 6:54 p.m. at W8652 440th, Ellsworth. He was okay.
  • An insurance company reported a crash secondhand that had occurred at 6:58 p.m. at W6548 431st, Ellsworth. The driver said no crash had occurred; they’d gotten stuck in the snow in their yard.
  • Police were dispatched to a possible theft at 7:03 p.m. at W12034 497th, Prescott.
  • At 9:04 p.m., a caller told police about a man on probation who drinks at N1090 825th, Hager City, and carries cocaine.

 

Friday, March 7

  • Police removed a downed tree from the road at 3:14 a.m. at 570th Street and Highway 35, Bay City.
  • Deputies responded to a business alarm at 4:18 a.m. at N8230 945th, River Falls, and located an open door. They searched the building; nothing seemed out of place.
  • A deceased female was located at 7:07 a.m. at N4153 677th, Ellsworth.
  • Vandalism was reported at 10:25 a.m. at County Road J and 570th Avenue, Beldenville. A sign was knocked over from the snow’s weight. The township was advised.
  • A mail carrier requested a welfare check on a man at 12:29 p.m. at N6438 790th, Beldenville. He died awhile back.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at 7:44 p.m. at W6418 Highway 35, Bay City,
  • A caller reported suspicious activity at 8:58 p.m. at W5852 760th, Beldenville. It turned out to be her mother taking something out to the garbage.
  • Deputies responded at 11:39 p.m. to N673 825th, Hager City, for a disorderly subject. Police interviewed all parties involved; one man was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery.

 

Saturday, March 8

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 6:10 p.m. at Main and Beebe streets.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with an OWI at 7:28 p.m. at 181 N. Ida St.
  • Police were informed of someone making suicidal comments at 9:23 p.m. at W6388 Highway 35, City. Northwest Connections put a safety plan into place.
  • Deputies and River Falls police were dispatched to a domestic at 10:05 p.m. at N8199 940th, River Falls. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

 

Sunday, March 9

  • Deputies were notified of a fight at 3:14 a.m. at N1023 825th, Hager City. Nothing was located.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with life-saving measures at 7:58 a.m. at 318 N. Court St., Prescott.
  • Officers were asked to assist Dunn County with an investigation at 11 a.m. at 307 S. Clark St., Elmwood.
  • Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:53 p.m. at Highway 10 and County Road QQ, Prescott. EMS transported two people to the hospital.
  • The highway department was notified of a damaged stop sign at 2:12 p.m. at 450th Avenue and County Road C, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 5:23 p.m. at 394 S. Gibbs St.
  • At 6:03 p.m., a caller notified police of water on 830th Street, Hager City, in low-lying areas.

 

Monday, March 10

  • Police responded to a one-vehicle crash without injury at 4:36 a.m. at W5905 Highway 35, Bay City.
  • Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash without injury at 8:54 a.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville.
