The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 17-23, 2025.
Monday, Nov. 17
A male appeared at 8:10 a.m. at Pierce County Courthouse (414 W. Main St., Ellsworth) who had a federal warrant. Officers confirmed his identity through tattoos and photos, took him into custody and transported him to Pierce County Jail.
At 8:15 a.m., deputies arrested a subject for a probation violation at W8015 County Road KK, Ellsworth.
At 12:34 p.m., police were dispatched to W11980 Highway 29, Prescott, for a man having a bad reaction to substances he had taken. EMS transported him to a hospital; he was later cited for possession of THC.
At 3:29 p.m., police stood by while an individual who wanted to leave left a residence at W2830 650th, Spring Valley. Police provided the homeowner information for looking into the family situation.
Officers received an illegal dumping complaint at 4:53 p.m. at N4335 1050th, Prescott. Police located the vehicle and cited the driver for operate without valid license, trespass to private land and illegal dumping. They cited the passenger for trespass to private land.
At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported a sick raccoon at N882 County Road S, Maiden Rock.
At 5 p.m., a man showed up at the sheriff’s office (555 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth) and reported a woman had walked away from their vehicle. The female advised police she was upset with the man and wanted to walk home. No crimes had been committed.
At 5:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to a neighbor complaint at N7344 1090th, River Falls. The complainant wanted to know her options about lights around the neighbor’s property.
At 5:44 p.m., police received a report of dogs killing chickens at W7194 450th, Ellsworth. Officers spoke to the dog’s owner about animals at large.
A dog bite was reported at 8:10 p.m. at N1475 62nd, Plum City.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with a domestic at 8:10 p.m. at W1204 Maryann St.
At 9:09 p.m., deputies removed multiple dead raccoons from the road at Highway 10 and County Road DD, Ellsworth.
At 11:29 p.m., a resident at W7145 148th, Bay City, called to report his father missing. His father hadn’t shown up at his home in Minnesota. Police checked on potential areas and talked to neighboring agencies without anything popping up. They attempted to call the dad multiple times without an answer. Red Wing police agreed to follow up with the family.
Tuesday, Nov. 18
Police spoke to a complainant about potential email hacking at 9:49 a.m. at N6428 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted the Trenton town chair in confronting people camping on town property at 9:55 a.m. at N1023 825th, Hager City. The parties agreed on a date the campers would leave; a man said he hadn’t been informed that he can’t camp there.
At 9:56 a.m., police were called to W6345 Highway 29, River Falls, where a man wasn’t being allowed into his residence. The subjects inside refused to come out; officers provided the man information on steps to take in the future.
At 10:43 a.m., police responded to Spring Valley Public Library/Village Hall (E121 E. Second St.) for a person having a mental health crisis. The county crisis worker also responded and a safety plan was put into place.
At 12:41 p.m., a caller reported manure on the roadway at 450 Street and Highway 72, Ellsworth. The highway department cleaned it up.
Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle fire at 4:49 p.m. at 750th Street and County Road V, Ellsworth.
EMS were dispatched at 5:46 p.m. to N7971 980th, River Falls, for a medical call.
At 6:17 p.m., a caller at W6390 Pepin St., Bay City, reported their car had been stolen. The woman’s husband called back and said his wife, who has memory issues, had taken the car to Dollar General and had forgotten she had driven it there.
At 6:36 p.m., a caller reported dogs roaming their property at N4831 170th, Elmwood.
At 7:43 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle at Highway 10 and Eagle Ridge Drive in Prescott for a defective brake light. The driver was arrested for operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping.
At 7:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to a suspicious tractor parked by the caller’s driveway at N4117 710th, Ellsworth. When officers arrived, they saw two tractors working in the field east of the home. No tractors or equipment were parked by the driveway.
Wednesday, Nov. 19
At 2:39 a.m., wayward cows decided to take a stroll near Highway 72 and 410th Street, Ellsworth. Their journey was cut short and they were returned to their owner.
At 7:53 a.m., a woman reported receiving a perceived threatening Facebook message at W7037 135th, Bay City. More possible harassment was reported at 1 p.m.
Lost horses were reported at 1:33 p.m. at N6946 530th, Beldenville.
A missing dog was reported at 1:54 p.m. at N2377 730th, Hager City.
At 5:46 p.m., dispatch received a call about suspicious lights at N7372 County Road O, River Falls. He didn’t want to speak to an officer.
At 5:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to a house filling up with smoke at W6988 Highway 29, River Falls. Deputies assisted the fire department until the scene was clear.
Police were dispatched to a hit and run at 8:21 p.m. at 403 Wasson Court. The driver was arrested for OWI-third.
Thursday, Nov. 20
Deputies assisted Elmwood police at 8:32 a.m. at 323 W. Winter Ave.
At 12:45 p.m., police received follow-up information regarding a death investigation at N3395 County Road OO, Hager City.
At 1:22 p.m., a caller at W2587 890th, Spring Valley, reported a spoof number calling her pretending to be a bank. She was given information on how to prevent fraud.
A caller reported suspicious activity at 1:58 p.m. at N3580 130th, Plum City. It turned out to be a misunderstanding.
At 5:53 p.m., a caller asked for options in dealing with a sick raccoon at W6543 County Road N, Beldenville.
Deputies were dispatched to a fraud complaint at 9:32 p.m. at W8236 County Road KK, Ellsworth.
Friday, Nov. 21
At 2:16 a.m., deputies saw a person walking across the High Bridge in Hager City. They gave them a ride to Red Wing.
A person was arrested for felony bail jumping, operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device after a traffic stop for expired registration at 3:05 a.m. at 590th Street and Highway 63, Ellsworth.
Officers assisted EMS at 8:18 a.m. at N7693 1126th, Prescott.
Deputies assisted River Falls police in finding a runaway juvenile by drone at 9:46 a.m. near 1536 Cemetery Road.
At 10:25 a.m., police spoke to multiple parties to come up with a solution about a civil matter at W2301 690th, Spring Valley.
At 11:56 a.m., police were informed of abandoned drugs in a storage unit at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City. The drugs were seized and destroyed.
Police were informed of a cow on the lam at 1:38 p.m. at N3595 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. The owner was advised.
Officers checked on an unattended burn at 1:54 p.m. at W7646 170th, Hager City. The property owner was told to call in burns from now on.
A neighbor called with concerns about a nearby property at 2:59 p.m. at N8855 1031st, River Falls. He was told to call police if the prior tenants showed up unsupervised.
A burglary was reported at 3:52 p.m. at W1124 280th, Plum City.
Police were notified of several gunshots in the area at 3:58 p.m. near W5512 Highway 10, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 4:44 p.m. at 310 W. Main St.
Police were asked to check on an unhoused person at 5:32 p.m. at highways 35 and 63, Hager City. They were not located.
At 6:41 p.m., officers received a report of kids knocking on windows and doors at W6537 Oak Hill Road, Plum City. Police located the juveniles and warned them for their behavior.
Officers assisted Red Wing EMS at 10:43 p.m. at N901 825th, Hager City.
Missing horses were reported at 11:11 p.m. at N2183 770th, Hager City.
Police received a 911 open line call at 11:12 p.m. at W9722 290th, Hager City. Police found an man who was intoxicated, but uninjured.
A possible domestic was reported at 11:56 p.m. at W3195 235th, Maiden Rock. The parties were located in Ellsworth.
Saturday, Nov. 22
Police conducted a welfare check on a woman sleeping in a car at 4:30 a.m. at W3541 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. She was waiting for the gas station to open and fell asleep.
At 9:15 a.m., a woman reported finding wood and rocks inside her mailbox at N5548 County Road E, Prescott.
At 11:16 a.m., Prescott police helped Dakota County deputies search for a missing person near the river.
At 12:34 p.m., a man at W9873 788th, River Falls, reported harassment in the form of an ex talking poorly about him to other people.
Police responded to a trespassing complaint at 2:37 p.m. at 270th Street and 410th Avenue, Maiden Rock. The people had permission from other family members to be there.
At 3:44 p.m., deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle without plates at W8603 480th, Ellsworth. It appeared someone was hunting on the property; the owner said that was fine.
Officers documented a civil issue at 5:17 p.m. at W11980 Highway 29, Prescott.
Sunday, Nov. 23
Police checked on two vehicles parked a closed business at 1:15 a.m. at 157 E. Main St., Ellsworth. All was in order.
Deputies assisted RF police at 9:04 a.m. at 1388 Golf View Drive.
At 9:40 a.m., a caller at W11980 Highway 29, Prescott, reported her father had shown up on her land and is not wanted. She was advised to document her sightings in a journal for future court hearings if she doesn’t want him spoken to.
At 11:38 a.m., a caller reported hunters walking on the road with rifles near W8215 760th, River Falls. They were following all laws and not hunting from the road.
Deputies assisted the DNR in attempting to find a hunter at 12:13 p.m. atW11983 820th, River Falls.
Officers assisted EMS at 1:21 p.m. at N4649 County Road CC, Elmwood.
Police checked on an abandoned vehicle at 2:31 p.m. parked at W9896 770th, River Falls. They attempted to contact the previous owner, who sold it, and the person listed on mail seen in the vehicle without success.
A caller reported harassment at 6:54 p.m. at N8520 County Road F, River Falls.
Deputies responded to a domestic called in by a third party at 6:54 p.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. A man was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping and domestic disorderly conduct.
At 10:47 p.m., a caller reported people shining lights into his house and spreading manure on the field by his house at N4097 730th, Ellsworth. He told dispatch he would contact his attorney.
