The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Nov. 3-10, 2025.
Monday, Nov. 3
At 8:56 a.m., police stood by for traffic as a tow truck loaded a vehicle at N7907 County Road P, Spring Valley.
At 9:03 a.m., a complainant reported a deer laying in their driveway at N4567 530th, Ellsworth. When officers arrived, it got up and walked away.
At 9:50 a.m., a caller complained of people shining deer and pointing lights at his property between 8:30-8:50 p.m. at night at N3902 130th, Plum City. He was informed of the regulations.
Deputies assisted EMS at 10:51 a.m. at W7670 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
At 11:18 a.m., officers responded to a call for a bull near the road at County Road OO and Highway 35, Hager City. No bull was located. Police left a voicemail for the owner.
At 2:45 p.m., police made contact with a man with a warrant at N2001 690th, Bay City. He set up a warrant return for the next day.
At 3:26 p.m., a caller reported people trespassing from public land onto private land at Highway 29 and 900th Street, River Falls.
Police dispatched a deer at 4:35 p.m. at 170th Street and 710th Avenue, Spring Valley.
Deputies assisted St. Croix County police in locating an individual at 4:46 p.m. at W501 Eau Galle Dam Road, Spring Valley.
Officers assisted EMS at 5:54 p.m. at County Road G and 490th Street, Ellsworth.
Police were called at 6:15 p.m. to W7091 810th, River Falls, for receipt of a threatening message. They were given information about applying for a restraining order.
At 7:14 p.m., police conducted a welfare check on people not answering their phone at N4359 610th, Ellsworth. Everything was fine.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
Officers dispatched an injured deer at 6:59 a.m. at N4567 530th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Red Wing EMS at 9:57 a.m. at W7635 165th, Hager City.
A subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for expired registration at 1:20 p.m. at Highway 35 and 170th Avenue, Hager City.
At 2:21 p.m., deputies checked for a suspicious vehicle parked in the road at 670th Street and County Road V, Ellsworth.
Police performed a welfare check at 2:45 p.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott. The couple was fine.
Officers responded at 3:34 p.m. to N7391 290th, Spring Valley, for an unresponsive male. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A caller reported finding loose dogs at 5:59 p.m. at N7599 County Road QQ, Prescott.
At 10:03 a.m., police checked on a parked vehicle at County Road G and 490th Street, Ellsworth. The driver said they were trying to find a residence to deliver a package. Police advised them that delivering packages that late at night wasn’t a great idea.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
Police were notified of a cow near the roadway at 3:36 a.m. at 850th Avenue and Highway 128, Spring Valley. The owner retrieved the cow prior to police arrival.
Officers transported an individual at 5:34 a.m. from Pierce County Jail to Mendota Mental Institution.
At 5:51 a.m., police received a call about a female getting into a vehicle that she was not wanted in at N1090 825th, Hager City. Nothing was located.
At 6:05 a.m., police spoke to women regarding different views of dog training and their ongoing harassment of each other at W1665 560th, Elmwood.
Officers dispatched a deer at 6:35 a.m. at W4172 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.
At 8:07 a.m., a warden located a dead deer that didn’t appear to have been hit by a vehicle at Highway 72 and 410th Street, Ellsworth. The DNR was notified.
At 12:44 p.m., a caller reported manure on the roadway that the farmer was not cleaning up at County Road CC and Highway 72, Elmwood. State Patrol said they’d check for violations.
At 1:21 p.m., police checked on a man parked in the roadway who was walking away from his vehicle at Highway 35 and County Road A, Maiden Rock. He had mental health issues. His parents were notified to come pick him and the vehicle up.
Police were asked to do a welfare check at 3:18 p.m. at 122 W. May Ave., Elmwood. They found a deceased woman inside the home.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 5:01 p.m. on a man at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south), Hager City. He denied any assistance.
Deputies were asked to dispatch at deer at 5:12 p.m. at County Road W and 710th Avenue, Beldenville.
Suspicious activity was reported at 5:37 p.m. at N5210 800th, Ellsworth.
Police were asked to dispatch a deer struck by a vehicle at 6:44 p.m. at N3936 County Road O, Hager City.
A caller reported suspicious activity at 7:32 p.m. at W4420 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 8:10 p.m. at N8723 1207th, River Falls. He was coyote hunting.
At 9:27 p.m., police checked on a vehicle on the side of the road at Highway 35 and 1110th Street, Prescott. They had run out of gas, so police helped them get some; they went on their way.
At 10:36 p.m., Goodhue County asked deputies to check the High Bridge for a suspect in an arson case. No one was found.
Thursday, Nov. 6
Goodhue County informed deputies of a vehicle stalled on the High Bridge at 2:37 a.m. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
Officers responded to a business alarm at 3:06 a.m. at N8170 Highway 65, River Falls. It was a false alarm.
At 7:31 a.m., deputies transported two men from Pierce County Jail to Stanley Correctional.
Officers assisted EMS at 9:07 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
At 11:04 a.m., a caller reported receiving a jury duty scam call at N2976 945th, Hager City.
At 12:27 p.m., a resident at W6542 Highway 10, Ellsworth, reported a tire had fallen off a vehicle and rolled into his yard.
Officers assisted EMS in administering CPR at 12:38 p.m. at N8129 975th, River Falls. EMS transported the patient to a hospital.
At 2:23 p.m., a woman at N2326 620th, Bay City, reported the locks had been changed on a house for which she is a trustee. It is a civil matter.
Officers were asked to stand by for a dog exchange at 2:55 p.m. at N5981 745th, Beldenville. The homeowner was advised of her rights. Officers told the woman coming to get her dogs that they would not provide a standby based on previous contact with her.
At 3:07 p.m., police spoke to neighbors about a trespassing issue at W6461 570th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 4:18 p.m. at 459 W. Main St.
At 5:01 p.m., a caller reported mailbox damage at N3807 County Road DD, Ellsworth. The homeowner believed it may have been caused from ag equipment in the area.
While checking on a disabled vehicle at 7:28 p.m. at 320th Street and Highway 10, Maiden Rock, police saw an open alcohol container in the vehicle. The driver was cited for operating after revocation and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle. Charges were forwarded to the district attorney for bail jumping.
Friday, Nov. 7
Police conducted a security check at 12:31 a.m. at W1000 Overlook Circle, Spring Valley. All was in order.
Officers performed a security check at 1 a.m. at W7220 20th, Maiden Rock. All was in order.
Deputies were dispatched to an open 911 call at 1 a.m. at W11496 620th, Prescott. Two roommate were having a verbal argument. They agreed to separate for the night.
Police responded at 11:22 a.m. to W1157 Maryann St., Spring Valley, for neighbors involved in a verbal dispute. The conflict was worked out.
Officers were dispatched to a civil matter at 11:52 a.m. at N1353 County Road EE, Bay City. A positive resolution was agreed upon.
At 12:55 p.m., police performed a welfare check on a man at 111 W. Partridge Ave., Elmwood. He said he was fine, just angry at an insurance company.
At 1:24 p.m., police received a complaint of possible harm to animals at N6390 County Road N, Beldenville. The animals were fine, but a crisis worker responded to the location for another incident.
Officers stood by while an individual collected property at 1:24 p.m. at 122 W. May Ave, Elmwood.
At 2:28 p.m., police received a report of hunters camping on private property that arrived by boat at Mile Marker 802. They were advised to leave and warned for trespassing.
Officers were informed of a possible grass fire at 6:14 p.m. at County Road CC and Highway 10, Maiden Rock. It was a controlled burn.
Deputies assisted a subject in collecting property at 6:37 p.m. at N6395 769th, Beldenville.
Officers were dispatched at 9:26 p.m. to check on a large fire at County Road J and 640th Avenue, Ellsworth. Police advised the property owner to call it in next time.
Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at 10:16 p.m. at 620th Avenue and Highway 10, Prescott. The caller reported information on a domestic that had occurred in Ellsworth in which the suspect left in a vehicle. River Falls police located the vehicle and deputies assisted as needed.
Deputies were dispatched to a shooting complaint at 11:58 p.m. at Highway 10 and 730th Street, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Saturday, Nov. 8
At 4 a.m., police dispatched a deer injured by a vehicle at Highway 29 and 805th Avenue, River Falls.
Officers assisted EMS at 5:48 a.m. at 635 W. Crest Lane, Ellsworth.
At 1:11 p.m., a subject was warned to leave railroad property at Highway 35 and 1240th Street, Prescott.
A caller reported a cow near the road at 2:30 p.m. at Highway 10 and 490th Street, Ellsworth. The farmer was on the scene looking for the wayward cow.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 4:51 p.m. at Maple and Kinne streets.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a warrant arrest at 8:20 p.m. at 305 W. Main St.
Officers were informed of a suspicious vehicle at 8:57 p.m. near N4470 1130th, Prescott. Nothing was located.
Sunday, Nov. 9
Police were asked to do a welfare check on someone on the side of the road at 9:47 a.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City. The person was fine.
At 11:09 a.m., a complainant saw steam coming from a corn dryer at N5437 Highway 63, Ellsworth, and thought it was on fire. It was operating normally.
A subject was arrested for a warrant at 12:25 p.m. at W9116 501st, Ellsworth.
Police stood by while a woman gathered property at 1:37 p.m. at W3523 850th, Spring Valley.
The medical examiner was informed of a man found deceased at 2:25 p.m. at W1124 280th, Plum City.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a vehicle search at 4 p.m. at 1430 N. Acres Road.
A possible restraining order violation was reported at 4:31 p.m. at N2384 140th, Plum City.
At 4:53 p.m., police spoke with two parties about a civil complaint at N2494 620th, Bay City. They agreed to work it out.
