The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Oct. 13-20, 2025.

Monday, Oct. 13

  • A lost dog was reported at 9:23 a.m. at W7320 163rd, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with a medical call at 9:53 a.m. at S633 Wagon Trail Road. The patient had no pulse and wasn’t breathing.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police in locating a woman suspected of theft and trespassing at 10:54 a.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 11:12 a.m. at N4954 Highway 63, Ellsworth. They listened to the man about his concerns.
  • A trespassing complaint was reported at 12:02 p.m. at W4857 Highway 35, Bay City. The complainant took a photo of the male suspect and vehicle, who left before police arrived.
  • At 12:15 p.m., police spoke to multiple people regarding perceived threats of collecting money from a construction job at N6021 County Road E, River Falls. One man wanted to stop contact and not go to the others’ residence.
  • Police took information on a found dog at 1:20 p.m. at River City Metals (N3941 Highway 35, Prescott).
  • Lund Fire Department reported training being conducted at 3:09 p.m. at W1498 County Road CC, Stockholm.
  • Police responded at 3:25 p.m. to N6521 1323rd, Prescott, to collect drug paraphernalia that had been found in the woods.
  • Deputies responded at 4:02 p.m. to Pierce County Jail where a man just released said he was suicidal. He was transported to Regina Hospital in Hastings, Minn., per his request for voluntary help.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 14

  • Officers found a broke highway sign at 1 a.m. at 190th Avenue and County Road S, Maiden Rock. It looked like a vehicle had struck it.
  • At 7:11 a.m., police responded to W5944 County Road V, Bay City, for cattle in the road. The farmer arrived to secure the cattle.
  • A suspicious male was reported at 7:46 a.m. near W4545 290th, Maiden Rock. He was not located.
  • At 9:14 a.m., a resident at N3320 County Road CC, Maiden Rock, lodged a complaint about trucks using their jake brakes.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth with an out-of-control juvenile who had left school without permission at 2:24 p.m. near Maple Street and High Point Drive.
  • At 6:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to a trespassing complaint at N4128 750th, Ellsworth. Police checked the residence and outbuildings and found no sign of trespassers.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 15

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with an unwanted subject at 2:01 a.m. at 174 Evergreen Estates.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a man screaming outside an apartment at 3:01 a.m. at 305 W. Main St.
  • At 9:49 a.m., a caller reported possible missing or stolen property at W5308 290th, Bay City. The woman wanted the items documented until she could figure out more information.
  • A check theft was reported at 11:34 a.m. at W1980 50th, Stockholm.
  • A lost dog was reported at 1:01 p.m. at W3826 450th, Maiden Rock.
  • At 1:13 p.m., police took a report of a license plate stolen off a vehicle at N6088 988th, Ellsworth.
  • At 2 p.m., a caller reported their trash bin had been stolen from W9277 800th, River Falls, about two weeks prior.
  • Deputies were notified of a suspicious person at 2:13 p.m. at W3936 County Road G, Ellsworth. The complainant reported past information and were told to call if the person shows up again. Police attempted to contact the suspect.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police in arresting a woman for a warrant at 3:45 p.m. at Maple Street and Crest Lane.
  • Police were notified of a car vs. trailer crash at 6:15 p.m. at Piety and Grove streets in Ellsworth. The driver was located and arrested for OWI-third.
  • Officers were dispatched at 6:49 p.m. to W7675 210th, Hager City, for a suspicious activity complaint. No one was found on the property.
  • Deputies responded to a noise complaint at 8:03 p.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. They were told to inform their landlord.

 

Thursday, Oct. 16

  • At 7:08 a.m., a caller reported someone being threatening at a board meeting about the township inspecting property at W11199 Highway 35, Prescott.
  • At 2:37 p.m., police took a complaint of neighbor dogs being on the property at N8644 940th, River Falls.
  • At 4:45 p.m., a caller reported loose goats in the ditch near Highway 29 and 525th Street, Spring Valley. The owner said she’d go check.
  • At 5:06 p.m., police received a complaint of mud/manure on the road at County Road CC and 410th Avenue, Maiden Rock. The farm manager said he’d check for spillage and clear it.
  • Police conducted a traffic stop at 10:43 p.m. at Church and Maple streets in Ellsworth for plates not matching the vehicle. The driver was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping, felony bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS with a medical at 11:28 p.m. at N2921 County Road C, Ellsworth.
  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 11:34 p.m. at N3699 730th, Ellsworth. It was unoccupied and the business was secure.

 

Friday, Oct. 17

  • Officers responded at 6:18 a.m. to Highway 29 and 660th Street, River Falls, for a stranded motorist. They gave her a courtesy ride to work. Her vehicle would be towed later.
  • At 9:54 a.m., a resident at W12150 846th, River Falls, reported a check addressed to him had been stolen before reaching him in the mail. It had been cashed in Detroit.
  • Illegal dumping was reported at 9:58 a.m. at 810th Avenue and 747th Street, River Falls. Police located information leading to a suspect, who was cited for illegal dumping.
  • At 10:22 a.m., a resident at N3320 County Road CC, Maiden Rock, complained of speeding semis going past her home and requested extra patrol.
  • At 11:02 a.m., police spoke to a resident at W12034 497th, Prescott, about a theft from a past incident.
  • Loose animals in the road were reported at 12:48 p.m. at W7409 Highway 65, Beldenville. They went back onto their property.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at 3:29 p.m. at county roads K and V, Hager City. It was not located.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a mental health incident at 4:29 p.m. at Piety and Main streets.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 6:03 p.m. at 191 Evergreen Estates St. One person was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
  • Police were dispatched at 6:23 p.m. to W6686 150th, Bay City, for an unwanted subject. The person didn’t come onto the property but had been sending harassing text messages. The complainant was told to call back if the person came onto the property.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a harassment complaint at 6:45 p.m. at 181 E. Main St. A woman had been following and taunting a social worker.
  • The coroner was notified of an expected death at 11:10 p.m. at W7002 810th, River Falls.

 

Saturday, Oct. 18

  • Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at a closed business at 12:29 a.m. at N1493 810th, Hager City. All was in order.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 1:21 a.m. at Maple Street and Overlook Drive.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a welfare check at 2:55 a.m. at 258 N. Beulah St.
  • At 5:19 a.m., a passerby reported seeing a man in the ditch at Church Avenue and Highway 29 in Spring Valley. The man had mental health issues; he was released to his foster mother.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a domestic at 5:45 a.m. at 193 Bobwhite St.
  • A tree was found blocking the road at 5:49 a.m. near W6984 610th, Ellsworth. The highway department removed it.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported parked at 6:42 a.m. at Wieser Concrete (W3716 Highway 10, Maiden Rock). The owner said he would come remove it.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 12:10 p.m. at 810 E. Main St.
  • A tree was blocking the road at 2:16 p.m. at 870th and 850th avenues, Spring Valley. The township removed it.
  • At 3:09 p.m., a caller at N3044 County Road OO, Hager City, called police to complain of an Amazon driver who had picked up a package that was supposed to be picked up from the house next door. She was upset with Amazon for not being “helpful enough.”
  • A naughty cow escaped its confines at 4:01 p.m. at 650th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. The farmer retrieved it.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a shooting complaint at 7:32 p.m. at N6811 County Road F, Prescott. The shooting stopped.
  • Deputies responded to an assault at 8:03 p.m. at a demo derby at the Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St., Ellsworth).
  • Police were notified of a dog bite at 8:35 p.m. that had occurred at W5398 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Officers were dispatched to a restraining order violation at 9:38 p.m. at N8199 940th, River Falls. No violation occurred.
  • Police were called at 10:08 p.m. about a drunk person at a private event at W01516 Highway 10, Prescott. A sober person agreed to give them a ride home.

 

Sunday, Oct. 19

  • An abandoned car was found in the traffic lane at 6:05 a.m. at Highway 10 ad 530th Street, Ellsworth. The plates did not match the car. It was towed.
  • Police were called at 10:24 a.m. to N5001 1208th, Prescott, for a man possibly having a stroke. The man told police to leave.
  • Trespassing on private campground property was reported at 12:16 p.m. at N650 825th, Hager City. Two men came onto the property to take photos of cars; they agreed to leave.
  • Deputies performed a welfare check at 4:16 p.m. at W1204 Maryann St., Spring Valley. There were no issues.
  • A suspicious person was reported at 5:01 p.m. at N1493 810th, Hager City. They left before officers arrived.
  • Deputies cleared a tree from the road at 5:54 p.m. at county roads N and J, Beldenville.
  • At 6:05 p.m., a person called in multiple suspicious activity complaints at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock. The complainant believed someone had entered her home. No one was located.
  • Deputies were dispatched at 7:29 p.m. to Pierce County Jail for an inmate who assaulted a corrections deputy.
  • At 11:49 p.m., a person reported losing their keys at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock.

Monday, Oct. 20

  • Police received multiple 911 calls from a woman at 12:09 a.m. at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock. She admitted to having mental health issues but hung up on dispatch and refused to answer the phone after that.
  • At 12:40 a.m., a caller reported someone wearing all black walking on the road near County Road C and Highway 35, Bay City. No one was located.
  • Deputies assisted Allina EMS with a medical at 4:34 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
  • Loose cattle were out on the road at 7:49 a.m. at County Road CC and Highway 72, Elmwood. The owner retrieved the wayward bovines.
