The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Oct. 20-27, 2025.

Monday, Oct. 20

  • Deputies took information about a found cat at 8:23 a.m. at W9076 570th, Ellsworth.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 1:13 p.m. atW12119 Highway 29, Prescott.
  • At 5:38 p.m., police escorted a boat from W6698 150th, Hager City, over the High Bridge into Red Wing.
  • Officers received a report of a suspicious man walking along the highway at 9:10 p.m. near Highway 29 and County Road E, River Falls. He was not located.
  • A possible break-in was reported at 9:19 p.m. at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock. Police dealt with multiple calls from the same residence the night before. When they reached the woman by phone, she hung up and said she couldn’t talk now.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 21

  • Police responded at 12:37 a.m. to W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock, when a woman reported someone might be inside her home. Nothing was damaged in the home.
  • Officers were dispatched to a home alarm at 1:21 a.m. at W9683 770th, River Falls. There were no signs of forced entry.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 3:05 p.m. at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock.
  • At 7:56 a.m., police took a report of text messages received that may be a bond violation at S215 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. Charges were forwarded for misdemeanor bail jumping after speaking with the suspect.
  • Police and the county co-responder were dispatched to a mental health crisis at 9:33 a.m. at a home in the 200 block of West Street in Plum City. A safety plan was put into place.
  • A caller reporting suspicious activity in the area at 11:27 a.m. requested extra patrol near N1129 825th, Hager City.
  • Deputies were notified of a disabled vehicle at 2:19 p.m. at county roads CC and S, Maiden Rock. The vehicle was part of an ongoing civil dispute. The vehicle was towed and both parties notified.
  • At 2:30 p.m., a caller reported suspicions that his business partner had been inside his home at N6877 County Road N, Beldenville. He believed she unplugged his internet and opened some mail. He said she still has a lot of belongings to remove from the place and wanted the incident documented.
  • The Emergency Response Unit was dispatched at 3:53 p.m. to 1009 W. Maple St., River Falls.
  • At 4:27 p.m., a caller reported being approached by a neighbor near 510th Street and 810th Avenue, Spring Valley, about being on a private road. To police’s knowledge, the road in question is a township road.
  • At 4:45 p.m., police spoke to a man at W5275 810th, Spring Valley, about how easements work in question to a property open to the public.
  • Officers responded to a woman having a mental health crisis at 5:53 p.m. at a residence on Green Street in Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a search warrant at 6:46 p.m. at 1009 W. Maple St.
  • Police checked on a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road at 11:09 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road, Prescott. Officers told the occupant to wait for a valid driver.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 22

  • At 1:25 p.m., officers checked the area around Highway 35 and County Road EE in Bay City for a man yelling. None of the area business owners had seen or heard anything.
  • A check cashing scam was reported at 2:13 p.m. at W10594 438th, Prescott.
  • Police received a harassment report at 7 p.m. from the previous weekend that had occurred at 6189 740th, Beldenville.
  • At 7:07 p.m., police spoke with a complainant about ongoing mental health and civil issues at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock. The complainant was advised to contact the homeowners.
  • At 8:42 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a possible suicidal juvenile at a home in the 100 block of West May Avenue in Elmwood. EMS transported the subject to Red Wing Mayo.

 

Thursday, Oct. 23

  • Deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle at 2:08 a.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City. All was in order.
  • Police responded to an open 911 call at 2:28 a.m. at W7047 610th, Ellsworth. The occupants had been asleep and no distress was noted.
  • Officers assisted EMS, who transported a patient at 8:27 a.m. at N6362 1323rd, Prescott.
  • At 10:34 a.m., school administration requested deputies to speak to staff at Ellsworth Elementary (445 S. Piety St.)
  • At 1:01 p.m., officers took a report of a dog bite that had occurred the night before at W6353 Summit Ave., Bay City. Quarantine information was provided to the dog’s owners.
  • Police received an animal complaint at 1:18 p.m. at W1309 490th, Elmwood.
  • Officers spoke to two suspects about suspicious activity at 2:52 p.m. at 907 First St., Plum City. The two males were not the correct people.
  • A caller reported someone burning tires at 7:05 p.m. at W7735 County Road KK, Ellsworth. It was a brush fire, not tires.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a verbal domestic at 7:18 p.m. at 290 E. Summit Ave.
  • Officers were dispatched to a suspicious activity call at 7:36 p.m. at W12779 735th, River Falls. The caller wanted the incident documented, but no response.
  • Extra patrol was requested at 9 p.m. for N7911 County Road P, Spring Valley.

 

Friday, Oct. 24

  • Police performed a security check at 3:05 a.m. at W7562 Highway 10, Ellsworth, and located several unlocked doors. Buildings were clear with no one around.
  • At 7:21 a.m., police provided information to a caller about issues with their neighbor’s dog at N1024 385th, Maiden Rock.
  • Officers were informed of a trespassing complaint at 8:55 a.m. at N6337 170th, Elmwood. Police attempted contact with the suspect.
  • Police responded to a vehicle vs. mailbox crash at 10:44 a.m. at N3807 County Road DD, Ellsworth. The suspect vehicle was not identified.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a theft report at 12:48 p.m. at N6524 1250th, Prescott. Information and possible evidence were collected.
  • A dog was found at 12:52 p.m. at 1130th Street and 463rd Avenue, Prescott.
  • Police were dispatched at 2:29 p.m. to N5388 County Road E, Prescott, for a woman confused about her outside lights. Police spoke to her and her caregiver.
  • Deputies provided extra patrol at the Spring Valley football game at 7:11 p.m. at W122 Iron St.
  • A caller reported a vehicle in the ditch at 8:35 p.m. at Highway 35 and 370th Avenue, Prescott. No vehicle was located.

 

Saturday, Oct. 25

  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:18 a.m. at 127 N. Main St.
  • Police were called at 12:27 a.m. to N6362 1323rd, Prescott, for a medical call. The woman refused to be transported.
  • Officers were dispatched to an unwanted vehicle complaint at 8:23 a.m. at W8051 Highway 35, Hager City. The vehicle was leaving when police arrived.
  • At 8:41 a.m., extra patrol was requested for a funeral at N1298 530th, Bay City, due to a possible family issue.
  • Officers assisted EMS with a medical at 12:56 p.m. at S830 Westland Drive, Spring Valley.
  • A missing cow was reported at 1:24 p.m. at N6097 860th, Ellsworth.
  • At 1:40 p.m., police were asked to check on a person sitting alongside highways 35 and 63 in Hager City holding a sign that said, “send help.” The man told police he was begging for money. He and a woman are staying in a tent nearby.
  • Deputies were dispatched to assist Elmwood EMS with a medical at 2:27 p.m. at 1020 W. Partridge Ave.
  • At 2:57 p.m., police took a report of a possible probation and deferred judgment agreement violation at W9330 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 4:45 p.m. at 610 E. Main St.
  • At 6:39 p.m., a caller asked officers to check the area near W5189 County Road G, Ellsworth, for loud bangs and flashes of light. Nothing was located.
  • Police assisted Red Wing EMS and police with a medical emergency at 8:10 p.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
  • At 8:11 p.m., a resident at 207 West St., Plum City, called police after allegedly hearing footsteps upstairs. Nobody was located.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 9:48 p.m. at 128 N. Dana St.

 

Saturday, Oct. 26

  • At 12:44 p.m., a tent was located on township land at N929 825th, Hager City. The town chair said the town has no ordinance against camping on its land specifically.
  • A dog was found at 3:56 p.m. at W8330 County Road K, Hager City.
  • At 4:08 p.m., a caller at 221 N. Public St., Elmwood, reported someone posting photos without permission. Police spoke to both parties involved to reach a solution.
  • A potential no contact order violation was reported at 4:11 p.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth.

 

Sunday, Oct. 27

  • Deputies arrested a woman for a bond violation at 1:10 a.m. at 526 Railroad Ave. She was taken to jail.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a suicidal person at 4:50 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Roosevelt Street.
