The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Oct. 27 through Nov. 3, 2025.
Monday, Oct. 27
At 10:04 a.m., an area resident requested a stop sign be put up at 690th Street and County Road C, Ellsworth.
Officers performed a welfare check on a man sleeping in the ditch at 12:29 p.m. at Highway 63 and County Road VV, Hager City. He was provided a courtesy ride to the county line.
At 2:36 p.m., a complainant reported a possible suspicious vehicle at N3150 980th, Hager City. He decided police presence was not needed.
At 3:28 p.m., officers took a report of a suspicious picture drawn on the sidewalk near 304 S. Main St., Elmwood. She wanted it documented.
Tuesday, Oct. 28
Police performed a security check at 1:27 a.m. at W2770 20th, Stockholm. Everything was in order.
Deputies wrangled loose cows out of the road back to their home at 2:47 a.m. at county roads V and C, Ellsworth.
Officers assisted EMS with an intoxicated female at 6:30 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
Officers dispatched a sick raccoon at 8:48 a.m. at Elsa Avenue and County Road EE, Bay City.
At 1:09 p.m., police took information on a found Red Lab at W4044 120th, Maiden Rock. The owner was put in touch with the caller.
Deputies assisted jail staff with an inmate who did not want to move housing at 3:35 p.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive.
Police assisted EMS at 5:02 p.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
Officers were called at 7:28 p.m. to N1631 830th, Hager City, for a verbal disagreement. The parties agreed to separate for the evening.
Deputies performed a welfare check at 7:37 p.m. at N4742 1065th, Prescott. Everything was fine.
Police conducted a security check at 11:47 p.m. at W981 850th, Spring Valley. Everything was fine.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
Officers performed a security check at midnight at N7724 County Road B, Spring Valley.
Deputies conducted a security check at 12:29 a.m. at W6101 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
Police performed a security check with Prescott police at 1:33 a.m. at Prescott High School (1010 Dexter St.) and one at 2:14 a.m. at Prescott Middle School (1220 St. Croix St.)
At 3:57 a.m., police were asked to check on a man who left the residence at N7211 Highway 65, River Falls. The employee called back and said the man had returned.
Officers assisted a motorist in changing a tire at 8:07 a.m. at W3581 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Police responded to a report of dogs barking all day long at 9:19 a.m. W10844 522nd, Prescott. The owner was asked to fix the problem.
At 9:24 a.m., police spoke to a property owner about junk vehicles at N1932 County Road K, Hager City. The county zoning department was advised of the problem.
Dispatch was informed of an animal complaint at 10:24 a.m. at W8730 440th, Ellsworth.
Police responded to a train vs. skidloader crash that resulted in a fatality at 11:28 a.m. at W9517 Highway 35, Hager City.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 12:26 p.m. at N1353 County Road EE, Bay City. He did not want help and said he’d make a doctor appointment soon.
At 1:05 p.m., a caller reported unsafe driving from semis hauling for a farm near 690th Avenue and Highway 63, Beldenville. The farm owner said they would speak to the hauling company.
A loose cow was on the run at 1:12 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1200th Street, Prescott. The farmer was informed.
At 1:25 p.m., officers responded to a possible domestic that happened the night before and that morning at W6911 210th, Bay City. The male agreed to leave the residence.
At 3:51 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about farm equipment going down the road with a long line of traffic behind it near Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville.
Threats were reported at 6:13 p.m. at N1482 770th, Hager City.
At 6:29 p.m., a woman with mental health issues called police to investigate suspicious activities at W3400 Green St., Maiden Rock. Deputies spoke with the homeowner.
At 7:19 p.m., a woman at W3542 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, called police because she was concerned about her mother. She was reminded a restraining order is in place.
A suspicious camper was reported at 8:23 a.m. at W887 110th, Plum City. A man had driven through his easement to get to hunting land owned by his son.
Officers assisted EMS at 9:01 p.m. at W7562 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
A caller reported someone shining at 9:34 p.m. at W4447 330th, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Thursday, Oct. 30
Police assisted EMS at 5:49 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
Officers took information about a lost dog at 6:01 a.m. at N6439 790th, Beldenville.
Deputies responded for a vehicle in the ditch with no damage at 6:40 a.m. at 610th Avenue and 670th Street, Ellsworth. They stood by while it was towed out.
Loose dogs were found at 7:17 a.m. near 570th Avenue and 730th Street, Ellsworth.
Police took a fraud report at 9:09 a.m. at W12210 742nd, River Falls.
At 9:25 a.m., police spoke to a businessowner who had an employee quit at S1075 Wasson Drive, Spring Valley, who may have stolen a logbook that the company needs back. Police attempted to reach the employee several times without luck.
At 9:55 a.m., a loose cow was spotted in the ditch by a fence near Highway 35 and 1240th Street, Prescott. The owner was contacted.
At noon, police took a report of a possible Cryptocurrency scam at noon at N1536 County Road C, Bay City.
Police responded to a home alarm at 3:15 p.m. at N6254 1340th, Prescott. The man onsite was a contractor, verified with the homeowner.
A dog bite was called in at 4 p.m. at 147 W. May Ave., Elmwood.
A suspicious person was reported at 4:14 p.m. at N1517 10th, Plum City. No one was located and there were no signs of damage.
At 4:15 p.m., a caller reported an unknown vehicle on property at N8604 Highway 63, Spring Valley. Police located a hunter across the road who had obtained permission from a different family member to park there.
Friday, Oct. 31
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 2:04 a.m. at Cascade Avenue and Winter Street.
Police conducted a welfare check at 2:33 a.m. at N1833 785th, Hager City.
Officers assisted EMS with a medical at 6:34 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott.
A caller reported cattle on the roadway at 8:22 a.m. at N3020 County Road C, Ellsworth. The owner was contacted.
Police received an animal complaint at 1:56 p.m. at 610 First St., Plum City.
Possible fraud was reported at 2:54 p.m. at N5388 County Road E, Prescott.
Police were asked to perform a welfare check on three people at 3:30 p.m. at W6799 170th, Bay City. All three were okay. Arrangements were made for them to stay at a relative’s home in Red Wing.
Police removed a downed tree at 4:51 p.m. near 1160th Street and 840th Avenue, River Falls.
At 5:21 p.m., deputies assisted probation with an offender check at 160 Evergreen Estates St., Ellsworth. They were in compliance.
At 5:28 p.m., deputies assisted probation with offender checks at 440 W. Ray St., Ellsworth. They were in compliance.
Police assisted probation with an offender check at 5:39 p.m. at 311 S. Woodworth St., Elmwood. They were in compliance.
Officers were asked to check on a wife who had not come home at 5:43 p.m. at N4853 1100th, Prescott. She said she was fine and didn’t want to go home because her husband was drunk.
Deputies assisted probation with offender checks at 6:15 p.m. at W3162 650th, Spring Valley. The probation agent said she would apply for a warrant when the subject wasn’t home.
Deputies assisted probation with offender checks at 6:32 p.m. at N6955 County Road BB, Spring Valley. Two people were to be at the residence; one was not located. He later called police and was told to turn himself in on the issued warrant.
Deputies assisted probation with offender checks at 6:41 p.m. at 168 Sylla St., River Falls. The offender was in compliance.
Deputies assisted probation with offender checks at 7:24 p.m. at 408 N. Winter St., River Falls. The subject was compliant.
Deputies assisted probation with an offender check at 7:42 p.m. at W8290 County Road J, Ellsworth. The subject was compliant.
Officers assisted probation with an offender check at 8:13 p.m. at W9116 501st, Ellsworth. They were compliant.
Police assisted probation with an offender check at 8:26 p.m. at W8015 County Road KK, Ellsworth. Two offenders were compliant.
Deputies assisted probation with an offender check at 8:46 p.m. at W5322 250th, Bay City. The subject was compliant.
Officers assisted probation with an offender check at 9:13 p.m. at 364 W. Main St., Ellsworth. They were not able to make contact.
Deputies attempted to arrest someone on a warrant at 9:29 p.m. at W3162 650th, Spring Valley.
Police responded to a 911 call at 10:09 p.m. at W7866 170th, Hager City and found damage to a door. The occupant said the damage was already there.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 11:04 p.m. at 2105 Pleasant Drive, Prescott.
At 11:11 p.m., police received a report of unruly Airbnb guests who had left willingly at N4119 400th, Ellsworth. The owners were worried about possible retaliation. No one was located in the area.
Saturday, Nov. 1
Officers were informed of an underage party at 12:04 a.m. at W6799 170th, Bay City. The residence’s owner said they’d had a party earlier but that everyone had left.
Police checked on vehicles parked in front of a closed business at 12:34 a.m. at N3470 Highway 63, Hager City. All was in order.
At 12:48 a.m., police received information from Prairie Island police about a stolen vehicle at N729 825th, Hager City. It was deemed to be a civil issue.
Deputies were dispatched at 2:01 a.m. to N8090 620th, Beldenville, for a disorderly subject. The male was cooperative and the female wanted him to leave. He was provided a courtesy ride.
At 6:01 a.m., police checked on a residence at W5308 290th, Bay City, that appeared to have had two unknown people there at 11:40 p.m. the night before. There were no signs of attempted forced entry anywhere.
At 8:25 a.m., a woman reported a man for making threatening statements the night before at a bar at 124 Pine Ave. E., Plum City. Probation was notified of the incident and the man was arrested.
At 9:26 a.m., police were informed of a past action domestic incident that turned into a hit and run crash at N8248 950th, River Falls. Reports were completed.
Officers were asked to do a welfare check at 11:12 a.m. at W6799 170th, Bay City. A child and parent said everything was fine. Police did a walk through with permission and noted adequate housing and food.
Police checked on a person at 4:40 p.m. near Highway 63 and 825th, Hager City. They were fine.
An owner was contacted about cattle loose in the road at 6:06 p.m. at N3020 County Road C, Ellsworth.
Sunday, Nov. 2
At 3:02 a.m., police noticed a suspicious vehicle outside a storage unit at W7858 170th, Hager City. A man admitted to living in the unit. The owner was notified.
At 11:04 a.m., police gave a man a ride to the hospital from the Elmwood Public Library (111 N. Main St., Elmwood) for a voluntary mental health commitment.
At 5:52 p.m., police assisted Ellsworth police in clearing a home at 240 Panther Drive where a door was found open. No one was inside.
At 6:59 p.m., police spoke to a woman about a civil matter at N735 825th, Hager City. The complainant wanted another woman warned of criminal trespass.
Police responded to a disturbance at 10:38 p.m. at N5145 County Road O, Ellsworth.
Monday, Nov. 3
At 7:24 a.m., police assisted a landowner in cutting a buck free from a fence at N7481 45th, Spring Valley.
Police received an animal complaint at 7:38 a.m. at W5437 250th, Bay City.
