The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 1-7, 2025.

Monday, Sept. 1

  • Lost dogs were reported at 12:13 p.m. at N7552 290th, Spring Valley.
  • Officers were notified of a smoke/possible fire at 2:24 p.m. near 879th Avenue and 1020th Street, River Falls. Nothing was located.
  • Police responded to a disorderly juvenile report at 5:43 p.m. at a 1250th Street home in rural River Falls. The parties were separated for the night.
  • A missing dog was reported at 8:43 p.m. at N6156 425th, Ellsworth.
  • Loose cows were reported at 9:23 p.m. at W10640 Highway 10, River Falls. The owner was able to secure them.
  • Police received a complaint of a vehicle driving all over the road at 9:30 p.m. on Highway 65 at 820th Street, River Falls. The driver was arrested for OWI-third and failure to install ignition interlock device.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a probation warrant arrest at 11:51 p.m. at 1450 S. Wasson Lane.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 2

  • Police responded to a 911 call at 7:59 a.m. reporting an assault at W2026 Highway 72, Elmwood. A woman was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.
  • Officers were dispatched to a trespassing complaint at 8 a.m. at N673 825th, Hager City. The owner said two people were staying on the property in an RV, but he wanted them trespassed and the RV removed. They were given until the end of the day.
  • Police conducted a welfare check on two people at 9:43 a.m. at W10101 Highway 29, River Falls. The female half decided to leave for the day.
  • At 12:44 p.m., deputies attempted to contact someone about illegal dumping that occurred at W6894 610th, Ellsworth. The township was able to remove the trash from the ditch.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a verbal domestic at 12:56 p.m. at W6621 Maple St., Bay City. They resolved their differences before police arrived.
  • During a 1:55 p.m. traffic stop at W8498 Highway 35, Hager City, the driver was arrested for obstructing police and cited for operate without valid license, while the passenger was arrested for a Minnesota felony warrant.
  • Police responded to a suspicious activity complaint at 2:14 p.m. at N7302 County Road W, River Falls. The homeowner was given tips on ways to secure the property.
  • At 2:20 p.m., a man reported the theft of his Ford F350’s catalytic converter at 295th and 290th avenues, Hager City.
  • Deputies took a fraud complaint at 2:51 p.m. at 409 First St., Plum City.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 5:50 p.m. at N1955 385th, Maiden Rock. A woman was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.
  • Police were notified of a possible juvenile runaway at 9:11 p.m. from a home on County Road F in rural River Falls. They were referred to the jurisdiction in which the juvenile lives.
  • Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 11:37 p.m. at N8044 County Road F, River Falls. The subject was fishing nearby. He was informed he couldn’t be in the park after hours.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 3

  • At 12:25 a.m., police were flagged down by a woman near Wasson Lane and Cemetery Road in River Falls. She wished to go to the hospital, where she was transported.
  • Deputies assisted Allina EMS with a medical at 1:06 a.m. at W10001 County Road FF, River Falls.
  • Officers were dispatched to an animal complaint at 6:56 a.m. at County Road D and 250th Avenue, Bay City. Nothing was located.
  • Police performed a welfare check at 7:41 a.m. at N673 825th, Hager City.
  • Cows making a break for it were reported at 9:26 a.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. They were put back behind their fence.
  • Officers were dispatched to a civil easement dispute at 1:42 p.m. at N7613 1250th, River Falls. They were advised to contact the court system.
  • A cow was reportedly hanging out in the ditch at 3:05 p.m. at County Road E and 570th Avenue, Hager City. The farmer rounded up the bovine.
  • An assault was reported at 3:27 p.m. that took place at Highway 63 and County Road VV, Hager City. The complainant followed a suspect driver after a driving complaint and confronted him, leading to an altercation. The suspect was not found.
  • At 4:11 p.m., a complainant reported a sign stolen from his yard at W7889 County Road KK, Ellsworth. He advised he was going to put up a new sign with a camera.
  • Police responded to a vehicle vs. parked car hit and run at 9:43 p.m. at 332 S. Woodworth St., Elmwood. The driver fled the scene. The vehicle was towed due to the smell of marijuana.

 

Thursday, Sept. 4

  • At 8 a.m., police located a man involved in an assault at 456 W. Main St., Ellsworth. A man was arrested for substantial battery, possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia and four counts of felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police and a county crisis worker at 8:11 a.m. with an out-of-control juvenile at Ellsworth Elementary (445 S. Piety St.)
  • Police spoke to a complainant at 9:58 a.m. at W6637 Maple St., Bay City, about a fraud theft case. Evidence was collected.
  • Theft was reported at 11:29 a.m. at W6498 Highway 35, Bay City. The complainant’s son was writing fraudulent checks and the complainant’s bank informed him.
  • Police were dispatched to an animal complaint at 12:29 p.m. at N3308 County Road K, Hager City. People were trying to round up the animals.
  • Cows were out in the roadway at 12:30 p.m. at 450th Avenue and County Road C, Ellsworth. The farmer was contacted.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 2:30 p.m. at W8069 147th, Hager City.
  • At 2:34 p.m., a caller reported disgust with a rude solicitor at N6239 170th, Elmwood. The vehicle’s owner was rude and hung up on police.
  • At 2:40 p.m., a caller requested a welfare check on someone trying to pull another individual into a vehicle at Highway 65 and 820th Street, River Falls. No one was located.
  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 3:29 p.m. at W528 Park Drive, Spring Valley.
  • Police were dispatched to a theft not in progress at 5:01 p.m. at N4306 Highway 63, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies and River Falls police responded to a business alarm at 8:33 p.m. at N8170 Highway 65, River Falls. All was in order.
  • Deputies and River Falls responded to a business alarm at 11:52 p.m. at N8232 945th, River Falls. All was in order.

 

Friday, Sept. 5

  • Police responded to a 911 domestic call at 12:34 a.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City.
  • A caller reported a hitchhiker at 1:13 a.m. at Highway 35 and County Road E, Prescott. No one was found.
  • Deputies located a tree down in the roadway at 5:28 a.m. at W8208 230th, Hager City. The township sent someone to remove it.
  • A driver was arrested at 7:28 a.m. for operate without valid license (second) and three misdemeanor bail jumping charges at W6555 Maple St., Bay City.
  • A caller reported cattle in the roadway at 8:24 a.m. at 710th Street and 410th Avenue, Ellsworth. They weren’t located.
  • Police investigated a stalking complaint at 8:43 a.m. at a County Road CC address in rural Maiden Rock.
  • Officers notified the township of a tree in the roadway at 10:47 a.m. at N6700 720th, Beldenville.
  • Police were able to get a loose cow back in its pasture at 10:53 a.m. at N5968 County Road CC, Elmwood.
  • Deputies were dispatched to an assault at 11:22 a.m. at N8875 County Road Y, River Falls. A neighbor came onto the complainant’s property, started an argument and punched him.
  • Officers were notified of a suspicious vehicle at 2:30 p.m. at Elsa Avenue and County Road EE, Bay City. It was not located.
  • At 5:59 p.m., a caller reported a trailer parked on their property at N2016 617th, Bay City. The property owner worked out a solution.
  • At 10:17 p.m., police checked the area near 385th Street and 110th Avenue, Maiden Rock, for potential poachers. Nothing was located.
  • Deputies responded to a fight in progress at 10:41 p.m. at W9852 290th, Hager City. All parties were interviewed.

 

Saturday, Sept. 6

  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a warrant attempt at 12:35 a.m. at 117 Broad St.
  • Deputies conducted a K9 sniff on a traffic stop at 1:29 a.m. at Main and Foster streets in River Falls.
  • A caller reported a vehicle in the ditch at 7:28 a.m. at 710th Street/450th Avenue, Ellsworth. It was gone when police arrived.
  • Police responded to a fire alarm at 7:36 a.m. at N3706 690th, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
  • Officers stood by while an individual gathered property at 9:20 a.m. at 316 Tower Hill Road, Plum City.
  • At 1:41 p.m., a woman complained of a plane flying low overhead at County Road OO and 370th Avenue, Hager City. It was a plane conducting agricultural work.
  • At 5:21 p.m., police checked on two women parked in a field drive at 890th Avenue and 200th Street, Spring Valley. They were advised it was private property and left.
  • Horses were reported in the road at 7:40 p.m. at N3430 County Road O, Hager City. The owner said they would look for them.
  • A disorderly male was reported at 9:15 p.m. at Sugars (N1620 County Road VV, Hager City). He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • A caller reported loose horses at 11:40 p.m. near 890th Avenue and County Road BB, Spring Valley. They were transferred to St. Croix County.

 

Sunday, Sept. 7

  • Officers assisted EMS at 1:29 a.m. at N5219 County Road O, Ellsworth.
  • Loose ducks were found at 10:01 a.m. at 640th Avenue and 870th Street, Ellsworth.
  • At 11:36 a.m., police spoke to a caller about a horse boarding complaint at W7001 County Road N, Beldenville. The civil issue related to taking of animals from the boarding facility after making up payment and arguing over the animals’ ownership.
  • Police responded to a boat fire at 1:43 p.m. atW5751 610th, Ellsworth.
  • Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 3:06 p.m. near W10724 690th, River Falls. The driver had locked keys in the vehicle and had a tow on the way.
  • A man was found laying in the ditch having a medical incident at 4:17 p.m. at 770th Street and Highway 63, Hager City. He was seen by EMS.
  • A caller reported possible suspicious activity at 5:06 p.m. at County Road EE and 170th Avenue, Bay City.
  • A caller reported a possible house fire at 6 p.m. at N6588 Highway 63, Beldenville. The resident was grilling.
  • Police responded at 6:04 p.m. to Pierce County Jail for a mental health hold. They transported a woman to a Winnebago facility.
  • Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic at 8:10 p.m. at N650 825th, Hager City. The parties agreed to separate for the night; EMS transported one to the Red Wing hospital.
  • Police took information on a dog bite at 9:01 p.m. at N7591 1090th, River Falls. Quarantine paperwork was issued.
  • A caller reported suspicious activity at 9:44 p.m. at W11940 778th, River Falls. Nothing was located.
