The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 22-29, 2025.

Monday, Sept. 22

  • At 3:55 p.m., police removed a tree partially blocking the roadway at Highway 35 and 1200th Street, Prescott.
  • Police were notified of a fraud complaint at 6:16 p.m. at N1353 County Road EE, Bay City.
  • Officers responded to a car in the ditch at 8:09 p.m. at Van Buren Road and Red Fox Run in Spring Valley. They provided lights while the car was towed from the ditch.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a noise complaint at 8:13 p.m. near W6856 490th, Ellsworth. No contact was made.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 9:43 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Flora streets with an OWI arrest.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 10:30 p.m. at Cascade Avenue and Highway 29, River Falls.
  • A caller reported a domestic turkey in the roadway at 11:13 p.m. at W8008 Highway 29, River Falls. The turkey was removed.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

  • Police assisted a motorist in removing a disabled truck from the road at 5:44 a.m. at 320th Street and Highway 10, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies notified the highway department of a stop sign that was struck at 9:04 a.m. at 1250th Street and County Road F, Prescott.
  • At 9:05 a.m., a resident reported a mountain bike theft from a garage at N7173 1250th, River Falls.
  • Officers conducted a welfare check at 9:25 a.m. at 1473 Riverside Drive, River Falls.
  • At 11:58 a.m., police stood by at W7717 570th, Ellsworth, while a backhoe was supposed to be removed from the property, but it wouldn’t start.
  • At 2:48 p.m., a caller reported cattle on the roadway at N7218 810th, Beldenville. They were gone when police arrived, but a witness said the cattle had headed west through fields. Police left the possible owners a message.
  • While conducting extra patrol at 3:04 p.m. near 945th Street and Lazy Lane, River Falls, police witnessed a driver in a truck do a burnout on the gravel road. They were cited for excessive acceleration.
  • A caller reported suspicious activity from the day before at 3:16 p.m. at W10505 521st, Prescott. They had no plate information.
  • Police were asked to perform at welfare check at 5:15 p.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south), Hager City. No one was located.
  • At 6:05 p.m., a caller reported a loose dog at W10001 County Road FF, River Falls. It returned home with its owner.
  • At 6:55 p.m., deputies were asked to assist St. Croix County with a hit and run. While enroute, they saw the suspect vehicle on Highway 65 near Main Street, River Falls. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
  • At 9:10 p.m., a caller reported a drone flying near his residence at W12832 Highway 29, Prescott. Nothing was located.
  • At 10:09 p.m., officers responded to S238 Church Ave., Spring Valley, for an unwanted subject/threats. The suspect left before they arrived but was later found. Police conducted interviews.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 24

  • At 12:08 a.m., police were informed of two men dumpster diving at W3651 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. They were not located.
  • Deputies responded to an assault at 3:21 a.m. at W7698 150th, Hager City. The suspect was not located.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 6:15 a.m. at W4419 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • At 8:47 a.m., officers responded to an illegal dumping complaint at County Road K and 385th Avenue, Ellsworth. The township was notified and requested extra patrol in the area.
  • A dog was found at 8:50 a.m. near 690th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
  • At 11:32 a.m., police responded to N729 825th, Hager City, for a trespassing complaint. They told two people they needed to remove their motorhome from the property by Sept. 28 or they would be cited for trespassing and the motorhome would be towed. They were also advised it would be towed if they brought it to any public place where camping is not allowed or to private property without permission.
  • Officers came upon a vehicle in the ditch at 1:31 p.m. at 790th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. They assisted the motorist in getting out of the ditch; there was no damage to the vehicle.
  • At 2:10 p.m., Plum City High School (907 Main St.) staff informed police of a student who made threats about another student to staff.
  • Officers were dispatched at 6:05 p.m. to the sheriff’s office for a possible intoxicated subject.
  • Deputies received a fraud complaint at 9:59 p.m. at N5339 515th, Ellsworth.
  • A threat was reported at 10:26 p.m. at W8101 290th, Hager City.

 

Thursday, Sept. 25

  • Police were dispatched at 8:04 a.m. to W4155 650th, Beldenville, for an unwanted male. A man was trying to get his mother with memory issues to move back home and his sisters wanted her to stay where she was.
  • At 8:21 a.m., a resident at W11980 Highway 29, Prescott, reported a suspicious vehicle come up the driveway and sit there awhile before turning around. The same vehicle had done something similar 10 days prior.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 9:38 a.m. at W12014 742nd, River Falls.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 10:18 a.m. at Highway 35 and County Road VV, Hager City. One vehicle rolled over; no one reported injuries. The road was closed while tow trucks removed both vehicles.
  • Deputies arrested a woman at 12:29 p.m. at 310 W. Main St., Ellsworth, for two warrants.
  • At 12:52 p.m., police checked the roadway near N4962 County Road CC, Elmwood, for loose cattle, but didn’t locate any.
  • The coroner responded at 1:20 p.m. to N1536 County Road C, Bay City.
  • At 1:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint at 611 First St., Plum City. The man eventually left; a THC vape was taken and destroyed.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:57 p.m. at W662 170th, Plum City.
  • Officers were dispatched to a possible squatter situation at 3:29 p.m. at W4584 113th, Maiden Rock. Police determined the person was staying at the property from time to time with permission from the owner. The property owner verified the claim.
  • At 4:13 p.m., officers checked on a dog running in the road at 69th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. The owners were able to capture it.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 6:38 p.m. at W6649 County Road N, Beldenville. The dog and owner appeared to be in good health.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a crash at 6:46 p.m. at Golf Course Lane and Highway 65/Maple Street.
  • Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic at 8:11 p.m. at W4385 750th, Spring Valley. The parties agreed to separate for the night.
  • At 9:34 p.m., deputies assisted Woodbury police in contacting an individual at W10322 880th, River Falls, who was involved in an incident in their city.

 

Friday, Sept. 26

  • Police were dispatched at 1:06 a.m. to N3941 Highway 35, Prescott, for a wanted person, who was arrested for a warrant.
  • Officers were called to a property dispute at 5:32 a.m. at N5981 745th, Beldenville. After interviews, police couldn’t determine an owner.
  • At 9:30 a.m., deputies were notified of mailboxes struck by a vehicle at N8036 County Road BB, Spring Valley. There were no vehicle parts at the scene.
  • At 11:33 a.m., police were notified of a civil matter at W11975 565th, Prescott. A neighbor cut down some trees and some fell on the complainant’s property. The cutter asked her what she wanted him to do. When police offered to talk to him, she hung up on them.
  • Officers responded to an oven fire at 12:49 p.m. at N4764 County Road O, Ellsworth. The fire was out when police arrived.
  • At 2:30 p.m., police stood by while a subject gathered property at W11386 County Road FF, River Falls.
  • A dog bite was reported at 5:09 p.m. at W11983 820th, River Falls.
  • Deputies were notified of a disorderly person at 7:40 p.m. at N673 825th, Hager City. The parties agreed to separate themselves.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS and police with a drug overdose at 10 p.m. at 301 N. Maple St.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 11:15 p.m. at W6454 Highway 35, Bay City. The parties stated there was a family emergency; they wanted no assistance.

 

Saturday, Sept. 27

  • A caller reported someone dumping garbage in the area at 12:22 a.m. at W4133 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 9:37 a.m. at N5377 County Road J, Ellsworth. Everything was fine.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at 4:19 p.m. at N5063 County Road DD, Ellsworth.
  • Officers were dispatched to a trespassing complaint at 5:06 p.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City. The subject was advised they were on private property.
  • At 5:57 p.m., deputies and the Wisconsin State Patrol were dispatched to a possible disturbance at 150th Avenue and County Road CC, Maiden Rock. The complainant didn’t answer the phone and an extensive search revealed nothing.
  • Deputies responded at 6:42 p.m. to W2332 County Road G, Elmwood, for a harassment complaint. The complainant was receiving profane text messages from an unknown number.
  • Police were dispatched to a disturbance not in progress at 6:53 p.m. at W6911 210th, Bay City.
  • Officers were called to a motorcycle crash with injuries at 7:04 p.m. on Highway 29 near Prescott. Both parties were transported by helicopter to Regions in St. Paul.
  • Deputies responded to a welfare check request at 9:27 p.m. at N8310 220th, Spring Valley. The person was fine.
  • At 11:05 p.m., a caller reported cows bellowing loudly near County Road CC and Highway 29, Spring Valley. The cows were fine.

 

Sunday, Sept. 28

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 12:55 a.m. at highways 10 and 63.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a bar fight at 2:36 a.m. at 145 Broad St.
  • Police performed a welfare check at 5:25 a.m. at N7392 County Road CC, Spring Valley, where a juvenile was found to be under the influence of an unknown substance. He was transported to the hospital.
  • At 11:32 a.m., an anonymous caller reported someone removing items from a recently deceased person’s residence at 116 Main St., Plum City. The suspect had permission to be there.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 1:49 p.m. at W1232 County Road U, Plum City.
  • At 2:51 p.m., police were notified of a silage truck that struck an overhead wire at 550th Street and 250th Avenue, Bay City.
  • Police were dispatched at 3:51 p.m. to a domestic at W2945 County Road G, Elmwood. The suspect was upset over an argument and medical issue.
  • Deputies responded to an assault at 3:53 p.m. at the Pierce County Jail.
  • Officers were notified of a dog bite at 5:15 p.m. that occurred at W7717 570th, Ellsworth.
  • Police responded to a commercial fire alarm at 7:52 p.m. at W8051 Highway 35, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a missing person at 8:34 p.m. at 745 Sycamore St. They were located.

 

Monday, Sept. 29

  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 1:46 a.m. at 117 Broad St.
  • A woman reported finding a horse in the middle of the road at 8:56 a.m. near N1337 County Road U, Plum City. She was going to try to find the owner.
