Plum City School District is welcoming the following new staff members for the 2025-26 school year. Welcome!

Tia DeJong

Position: 4k Paraprofessional, Plum City Elementary

Hometown: River Falls

College/work experience: University of Phoenix online

Hobbies/interests: Homesteading, baking, reading, hanging with friends and family

Family: My husband Jordan and I have been married for almost five years. We have two kids, Barrett and Rory. We live out in the country in Maiden Rock. We also have a dog, 13 chickens and two ducks.

What are you most looking forward to this year? Meeting all of the kids and being part of the community.

Olivia Eischen

Position: Special education paraprofessional, Plum City Middle School

Hometown: Ellsworth

College/work experience: Mankato State University (bachelors), University of Chicago (masters)

Hobbies/interests: Being outside, hanging out with my dog Gunner and reading!

Family: My family and I live next to the Rush River and my dad and I love to go fishing, hunting and find cute coffee shops together.

What are you most looking forward to this year? Getting to meet all the Plum City kids and meeting all the great staff!

Brooke Evan

Position: Fourth grade teacher, Plum City Elementary

Hometown: Menomonie

College/work experience: UW-La Crosse

Hobbies/interests: Spending time outside, being on the water, going on walks with my dog

What are you most looking forward to this year? Getting to know all the students and exploring the area more!

Tyler Johnson

Position: Physical education teacher

Hometown: Osceola

College/work experience: UW-River Falls, degree in health and physical education

Hobbies: I enjoy golfing, snowmobiling and taking my motorcycle out.

Family: I have two older brothers and just became an uncle!

Quinn Martin

Position: Elementary music teacher, middle and high school choir director

Hometown: Omaha, Neb.

College/work experience: Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

Hobbies/interests: Board games, volleyball, video games, listening to audiobooks

Family: My wife and I got married at the end of this past July and just moved to the area. She is attending UW-Eau Claire for school psychology.

What are you most looking forward to this year? Getting to know the community and helping my students make wonderful music.
