ELLSWORTH Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department May 23-30.

Monday, May 23

Police noticed a garage door with the light on left open at 945 Southgate Drive at 12:26 a.m. They couldn’t get anyone to come to the door or secure the door.

Eric Taylor Jr., 17, Bay City, was arrested for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a travc stop for failure to stop at a stop sign at 5:38 p.m. at Main and Utility streets.

Tuesday, May 24

At 10 a.m., police responded to Ellsworth High School (323 Hillcrest St.) to be present for a student interview. The student was spoken to concerning statements he had allegedly made to female students, encouraging them to kill themselves. The matter will be handled by school stau.

Wednesday, May 25

Police found a grey Roadmaster bicycle at 1:22 a.m. near the middle school walking path. They took it to the police lost and found.

Thursday, May 26

At 11:17 a.m., Ellsworth Elementary School stau reported concerning Snap-Chats between students.

Friday, May 27

At 1:39 p.m., an Ellsworth High School student was cited for possession of a vape pen/electronic smoking de vice on school grounds. The student said they were holding it for someone else.

At 3:31 p.m., a counterfeit $50 was deposited with the Pierce County Sheriu's Of – fice Jail Division's canteen funds.

At 4:02 p.m. police responded to a minor two-vehicle

crash at 181 E. Main St.

A vehicle struck Jane Ellen Nelson’s vehicle when backing out of a parking stall.

Nelson’s vehicle was not occupied at the time. Both parties were given information on how to self-report online.

At 7:35 p.m., police were notified of a two-vehicle crash at Maple and Main streets between Bobbie Oellrich, 47, Ellsworth, and Lindsey Anderson Richmond, 28, address not listed.

Both parties left the scene after exchanging information; the accident was reported 45 minutes later. Police couldn’t reach Oellrich, but advised Richmond to self-report online.

Saturday, May 28

Police received a fire works complaint at 11:17 p.m. at 429 W. Wayne St. No fireworks were located. Police responded to a possible domestic at 3:48 p.m. at 157 E. Main St. where a man was seen pushing a woman.

The woman said she was pushed, but was uncooperative with police. The man said he was trying to get her to stop walking as she was upset that he was messaging another woman about a bike seat. He was warned and released.

Isaac Benck, 27, Plum City, was arrested for operating after revocation (alcohol related) after a travc stop at 8:09 p.m. at Terrace Avenue and Sunset Lane.

Guadalupe Encarnacion, 21, Ellsworth, was cited for operate without valid license after a travc stop at 9:31 p.m. at Maple Street and Crest Lane. A driver was called to pick him up.

Ovcers checked on sus picious vehicles parked at 10:36 p.m. at 100 W. Grove St. They were unoccupied.

Sunday, May 29

Police responded at 2:14

a.m. to 454 High Point Drive where a resident was irate the water had been shut ou. She demanded to speak to the of- ficer's supervisor, to which he advised her his supervisor would be on duty at 7 a.m.

At 2:02 p.m., police observed four juveniles leaving the Highway Department parking lot at 621 W. Cairns St. They said they were riding bikes and scooters. Police warned them to stay visi- ble and ou the equipment.

Todd Leary, 44, Princeton, Minn., was arrested for operating after revocation, possess drug paraphernalia and multiple state warrants after a travc stop at 5:44 p.m. at Railroad Avenue and Wall Street for misuse of license plates and expired tags.

A resident requested po lice document an incident at 5:59 p.m. in which a suspect threatened to slit her throat.

She wasn’t concerned for her safety.

Monday, May 30

At 12:35 a.m., police checked on suspicious vehicles parked at 100 W. Grove St. The vehicles were unoccupied.

Nathan Beastrom, 45, Ellsworth, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possess drug paraphernalia after a search warrant was conducted at 7:37 a.m. at 410 W. Cairns St.

A power outage was reported at 7:48 a.m. at Chestnut and Warner streets.

A missing person was reported at 5:28 p.m. at 429 W.

Wayne St. Employees said the person in question was at his brother’s house and they weren’t worried.

At 8:57 p.m., a juvenile was warned and the parent contacted for driving a dirt bike up and down Chestnut Street.
