PRESCOTT Police Department Reports
The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Feb. 14-17.
Monday, Feb. 14
Police responded to a onevehicle crash at 6:50 a.m. at Hilton Street and Highway 10. The driver was identified as Katelyn Christine Early, Prescott.
Jaime Luis Velez Vega,
22, River Falls, was cited for a traffic violation after a traffic stop at 11:01 p.m. at highways 10 and 29.
Tuesday, Feb. 15
Officers checked on a suspicious man at 1:19 a.m. in the area of Cherry and Locust streets. They helped the man bring his belongings to Holiday.
Police performed a welfare check at 8:10 a.m. at 236 Broad St. Everything was fine.
Wednesday, Feb. 16
A suspicious person was reported at 3:16 a.m. at 469 Gibbs St. No one was located. The complainant requested extra patrol at 10:37 a.m.
Akrem Ahmed Algiery,
36, Des Moines, Wash., was cited for a traffic violation after a traffic stop at 2:52 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
A theft was reported at 3:09 p.m. at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive.
Thursday, Feb. 17 John Karimalis, 46, Austin, Texas, was cited for a traffic violation after a traffic stop at 6:38 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
A gas drive-off was reported at 7:14 a.m. at 1003 Campbell St.
Police took a property damage report at 11:30 a.m. at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive.
John Maxwell Maniglia,
34, Northfield, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:46 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
