ELLSWORTH Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to the Ellsworth Police Department Nov. 29 through Dec. 5.

Monday, Nov. 29

Police were called at 4:11 p.m. to 165 E. Susan St. for a verbal domestic. The parties agreed to separate for a bit to cool off.

Tuesday, Nov. 30

Police were called at 10:13 a.m. concerning a verbal domestic at 165 E. Susan St. A man had left the residence to cool down without his phone or wallet and the woman was concerned. He returned after about an hour.

Pierce County Human Services reported at 10:51 a.m. a series of threatening phone messages left over the course of a few days. They wanted the incidents documented in case the situation escalates.

Wednesday, Dec. 1 William Wilkens, 32, Ellsworth, was arrested on a warrant at 5:01 p.m. at 186 Evergreen Estates St. and taken to jail without incident.

Thursday, Dec. 2

Officers responded at 6:17 p.m. to 312 E. Wall St. for a custody dispute. The parties were given advice on options.

Friday, Dec. 3

At 10:41 a.m., police were called to Ellsworth High School (323 Hillcrest St.) in reference to a fight that took place the day before.

At 1:25 p.m., police noted several instances of graffiti throughout the village, including an East End Park picnic table, a stall door at the Summit Park bathroom, a guardrail on Pleasant Avenue, a guardrail on Morse Street, a phone box at Summit and Grants streets, an electrical service panel at Associated Bank and the building at 410 E. Wall St.

Police responded at 6:58 p.m. to 183 E. Sunset Circle for a welfare check. They weren’t able to make contact at the residence but reached the person by phone.

Saturday, Dec. 4

At 9:54 a.m., police had phone calls with two residents from 183 E. Sunset Circle regarding one of them picking up her property from the home. Due to the volatile situation, she agreed to do it a different day.

At 1:08 p.m., police responded to 644 W. Main St. for a domestic incident. A person there had tried punching someone and had pushed someone.

At 1:42 p.m., a complainant at 159 W. Main St. reported a person in a red truck buying and selling cats. The truck had headed west on Main Street.

At 8:04 p.m., police assisted deputies with a disorderly person at the jail (555 W. Overlook Drive).

At 11:42 p.m., police responded along with EMS to 504 W. Crosstown Road, where someone had taken four mushrooms at 10 p.m. EMS transported them to River Falls Area Hospital.

Sunday, Dec. 5

At 10:04 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle had driven past 769 W. Cairns St. seven times with their flashers on. The vehicle was stopped near the trailer park. Police made contact with the person, who said he lives in the trailer park, but there was a language barrier.

At 5:56 p.m., a resident living in the 100 block of East Sunset Circle requested extra patrol after allegedly receiving death threats.

Crystal Woychik, 40, Prescott, was arrested for OWI after a traffic stop for an out headlight at Grant and Main streets.

At 11:27 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of East Sunset Circle where a resident reported hearing a bang and thought it was drug dealers coming to kill him. A chair on the porch had tipped over.
