The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Aug. 1622.

Monday, Aug. 16

At 7:45 a.m., domestic disorderly conduct was reported at 132 Evergreen Estates St.

Jess Schmidt, 39, Hager City, left the residence but was located later and arrested.

At 3:06 p.m., a $20 Motion Picture prop $20 bill was found in English Lutheran’s deposit at 218 Broadway St.

At 3:09 p.m., police were notified of a two-vehicle crash between Donald Johnson, 74, Ellsworth, and a parked unoccupied UPS truck ( driver Randy Daniels Jr., 33, Baldwin) near 1022 Southgate Drive. The UPS truck had small scratches and a small dent in the passenger side front quarter panel. Johnson’s vehicle had no damage.

Tuesday, Aug. 17

At 2:07 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported near the propane tanks at 145 N. Railroad Ave. The vehicle was cold and all appeared normal.

At 10:30 a.m., a complainant reported a suspicious man sitting in a vehicle near the well house at 427 W. Spruce St. He was replacing water meters.

Thursday, Aug. 19

Police observed a large amount of junk and a junk vehicle at 3:22 p.m. at 137 N. Maple St. The residents were given seven days to clean up the property.

At 10:24 p.m., police observed a suspicious person at East End Park after closing. The person said he was charging his phone and researching on it.

Friday, Aug. 20

A suspicious person was reported at 10:08 a.m. at 257 N. Piety St. The person was from a lending company checking out the residence’s occupancy.

At 6:50 p.m., a complainant reported damage to a trailer at Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.)

Saturday, Aug. 21

At 1:23 a.m. police were informed of a disturbance at 163 Evergreen Estates St.

Officers assisted PCSO deputies with suspicious people at 2:16 a.m. at 137 E. Main St.

Officers assisted PCSO deputies with a suspicious people call at 10:27 a.m. at W8482 530thAve., Ellsworth. The complainant thought the business was closed, but it turned out to be a cleaning crew.

At 11:59 a.m., a complainant reported vandalism to a vehicle at 134 S. Grant St. Someone had taken a sharp object and scratched the driver’s side doors in no particular pattern. No video footage was available. The estimated damage cost was $1,000.

At 8:33 p.m., police received a complaint of a black bear in the Shopko parking lot. No bear was located.

At 10:06 p.m., Sabe’s Loft’s coach bus had sparks coming from beneath it and was making a grinding noise while it traveled west on Main Street. The bus pulled over and a towing company was called. Another bus picked up the bus’s passengers.

Sunday, Aug. 22

A juvenile was trespassed from Summit Park for the remainder of the year at 1:34 p.m. after being observed dragging a blue infant swing from the swing area to the picnic shelter, where they swung it at another juvenile and hit them.
