The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Feb. 4 is Prescott High School freshman Dylan Oie, nominated by science teacher Cameron Meyers.
“Dylan is a phenomenal student in class. He is always willing to participate in class and will answer any question that I pose to the class,” Meyers said. “He shows resiliency whenever we are working on CYUs or just practicing in class. Dylan never gives up on a problem; he will take his time to think it through and ask for help when needed. Dylan has portrayed through his history in my class that he is an exceptional planner and prioritizer. Dylan has never missed an assignment in my class; he will even come check in and communicate with me about his progress on projects and longer assignments.
“It is all these qualities and more that I am proud to nominate Dylan Oie as PHS Student of the Week.”
Dylan is the son of Erick and Tiffany Oie. He is a member of the PHS trap team and enjoys playing video games and going on his side-by-side. He plans to work at Chipotle and start his own business someday.
