Prescott Forensics takes 1st

PRESCOTT – After a reduced season in 2020 and a season entirely online in 2021, the Prescott High School Forensics team took first place at the Baldwin-Woodville Forensics Invitational on Feb. 5, 2022. In a field of nine teams, Prescott edged out the other teams with a total of 60 points.

Individual awards went to: Mallory Boles – Second in Impromptu Shelby Sizemore – Fifth in Impromptu Erica Jennings – Third in Informative and first in Oratory Addison Huppert – Second in Informative Kyle Holtan – First in Moments in History and third in Special Occasion Ken Ryan – Third in Moments in History Sophia Kapsh – Second in Poetry Ella Johnson – First in Public Address Bryn Anderson – Fourth in Public Address Mabel Rohl – Third in Radio News Reporting Faith Rohl – First in Solo Acting Kinsey Peterson – Second in Solo Acting Will Markert – First in Storytelling Delia Warp – Second in Storytelling Also competing for Prescott: Kelcey Hanson (Poetry), Grace Ryan (Poetry), Lili Campfield-Huth (Prose), Madison Schmitz (Prose).

The team next competes at its home tournament on Saturday, Feb. 12.
