PRESCOTT – The Gathering Place is still open, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

With the current surge of Covid, we are now requiring everyone, even those who are fully vaccinated, to wear a mask at all times when visiting the Gathering Place. The only mask exemption is in the gym on Wednesdays for exercise class. Even though the vaccinated are not likely to be severely ill, they can still carry a high virus load that could affect those who cannot or will not be vaccinated. We are doing this for the safety of our Gathering Place community. Masks are on hand in case anyone forgets theirs at home.

Pickleball and walking continue in the gym on Mondays from 9-10:30 a.m. Use Door 5 and check in by 8:45 a.m.

Thursday, Jan. 20 is the comedy movie, “Poms,” with popcorn served at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 25: Book Club will discuss “The Giver of Stars” by Jojo Moyes at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 26: Euchre, bridge and card games from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 27: Speaker will be Prescott School District Superintendent Dr. Rick Spicuzza, who will give a general district update and talk about the upcoming facilities maintenance referendum, scheduled for an April 5 vote.

Gathering Place is closed on Mondays and Fridays. From 10- 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, the Memory Cafe will meet via Zoom. Please call Amy Luther-715-273-6780 to request the link.
