The following incidents were reported to Prescott School District Aug. 8-14, 2025.

Friday, Aug. 8

  • Spencer Charles Ryan, 32, Prescott, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 7:50 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • At 2:22 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about a sign blocking the view at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Benjamin Charles Ohmes, 20, Winona, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:08 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
  • Luke James Maher, 25, Hastings, Minn., was cited for urinating in public at 10:42 p.m. at 117 Broad St.
  • A 16-year-old River Falls juvenile was cited for speeding and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 11:24 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

 

Saturday, Aug. 9

  • At 7:38 a.m., police spoke to staff about someone possibly huffing in the bathroom at 1120 Highway 10.
  • Clint Rusty Dahl, 35, Ellsworth, was arrested/cited for non-registration of vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, possess open intoxicants in motor vehicle – driver, operating while revoked and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install after a traffic stop at 3:09 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
  • Francesca Marie Deleon, 18, Stillwater, Minn., was issued a warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:05 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Police investigated a suspicious vehicle complaint at 10:22 p.m. at 2050 Jefferson St.

 

Sunday, Aug. 10

  • Officers conducted a welfare check on a woman asleep in her vehicle at 1:41 a.m. at 1120 Highway 10. Cassandra Marie Armstrong, 33, Hudson, was arrested for OWI.
  • Police responded to an unwanted person call at 2:20 a.m. at 145 Broad St. The suspects left before police arrived; the owner wanted the incident documented.
  • Officers responded to a domestic at 2:05 p.m. at 766 Jefferson St. Joey Lamont Wilson, 46, Prescott, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery and transported to Pierce County Jail.
  • Police were present for a property exchange at 3:07 p.m. at 605 Orange St.
  • Officers were dispatched to a hit and run involving Nathan Eric Kylander, Prescott, and Nicole Joanne Dalman, Prescott, at 6:04 p.m. at Young and Walnut streets. Police located and arrested Kylander, who had fled the scene.

 

Monday, Aug. 11

  • At 9:28 a.m., police saw a woman fall in a hole near Public Square Park at Kinnickinnic and Elm streets while walking her dog. Public Works was notified.
  • Ronald Scott Heppner, 64, Hastings, Minn., was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 1:06 p.m. at Pearl Street and Sunset Court.
  • Bryndan Anthony Hartman, 19, Somerset, was cited for windshields – tinting critical area and issued a written warning for vent/side window excessive tinting, rear side window excessive tinting and rear window excessive tinting after a traffic stop at 1:20 p.m. at Oak and Dakota streets.
  • Tamara Lynn Abbott, 56, Prescott, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 3:11 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Aaron Patrick Perry, 20, Lake City, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 3:23 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Police were dispatched to a suspicious person complaint at 4:04 p.m. at 961 Jefferson St.
  • At 11:38 p.m., a complainant informed police of a man standing in the middle of the road near Kinnickinnic and Broad streets. He wasn’t located.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 12

  • Shawn Thomas Barott, 36, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:46 a.m. at highways 10 and 29.
  • William Ernesto Navas Diaz, 20, White Bear Lake, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:25 a.m. at 328 Lake St.
  • Robert Mark Lyng, 60, Prescott, was issued a written warning for improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 8:14 a.m. at 236 Broad St.
  • Jerome A. Hahn, 39, Hager City, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:32 a.m. at 180 Broad St.
  • Porter Cade Mooney, 22, Menomonie, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:46 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Donald Henry Borgschatz, 51, Plainview, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:20 a.m. at Broad and Cherry streets.
  • Rebecca Jo McInnis, 34, River Falls, was issued a written warning for improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 10:48 a.m. Canton Street and Highway 10.
  • Samantha Rae Ritter, 26, Rudolph, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates and vent/side window excessive tinting after a traffic stop at 11:05 a.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 29.
  • Cindy Kay Turner, 56, Prescott, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates and vent/side window excessive tinting after a traffic stop at 11:38 a.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 29.
  • Timothy Glenn Courneya, 40, Isanti, Minn., and Ciara Rae Fisher, 18, Isanti, Minn., were cited for a parking violation at 12:22 p.m. at Walnut Street and Linden Road.
  • A suspicious person was reported at 1:59 p.m. at 1813 Canton Road. Officers spoke to the suspect.
  • Jerry David Reams, 22, Winona, Minn., was issued a written warning for operator violate yellow traffic signal and cracked/damaged vehicle windshield after a traffic stop at 2:50 p.m. at Lake Street and Highway 10.
  • Brianna Mae Cox, 26, Vermillion, Minn., was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates, fail/properly maintain stop lamps and fail/maintain high-mounted stop lamp after a traffic stop at 3:22 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 13

  • Alice Mae Averbeck, 58, Prescott, was arrested for a warrant at 7:06 a.m. at 807 St. Croix St.
  • A possible boat theft was reported at 12:17 p.m. at 427 W. Spruce St.
  • At 8:14 p.m., police saw a dog running without a leash at Cherry Street and Highway 10. The owner was warned.
  • Snaider Simbana, 24, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license and warned for deviating from designated lane after a traffic stop at 10:15 p.m. at Dexter Street and Ryden Road.

 

Thursday, Aug. 14

  • Police were dispatched at 2:58 p.m. to 408 Lake St. for a disorderly person. The parties went their separate ways.
  • Carl Louis Bourdages, 47, Rosemount, Minn., was cited for failure to obtain compost site permit as a non-resident at 3:16 p.m. at W12000 620th
