The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Jan. 23-30, 2026.
Friday, Jan. 23
Identity theft was reported at 12:44 p.m. at 2061 Pleasant Drive. The case was forwarded to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, Jan. 24
Ashly L. Korby, 27, Prescott, was cited for disorderly conduct after responding at 12:13 a.m. to 470 Monroe St.
Police responded to a noise complaint at 2:59 a.m. at 907 Pearl St. They agreed to turn down the music.
Officers were dispatched to a noise complaint at 11:54 p.m. at 470 Monroe St. The subject was asked to keep the partying noise down as people were trying to sleep.
Sunday, Jan. 25
Police responded to a vandalism report at 1:21 a.m. at 114 Broad St.
Monday, Jan. 26
Claire Frances Walinga, 22, Windom, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:55 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 12:07 p.m., a subject drove off with a gas pump handle at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive.
Loose dogs were reported at 3:40 p.m. near Albert and Flora streets. The dogs went home before police arrived.
At 5:18 p.m., police responded to a crash on private property at 114 Linden Road. The caller was given the DOT crash self-report website.
Officers were called to a fight in progress at 5:27 p.m. at 470 Monroe St. The fight was verbal only.
Tuesday, Jan. 27
Officers took a threats complaint at 9:14 a.m. at Prescott High School (1010 Dexter St.)
Police responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 1:43 p.m. at 654 Washington St. Cesar Ivan Rodriguez Ortiz, 25, Minneapolis, was arrested and cited for OWI and resisting or obstructing an officer.
Eviction papers were served at 2:32 p.m. at 1354 Ash St.
At 4:23 p.m., police were asked to conduct a welfare check on an intoxicated female at 116 Broad St. Angela Jo Weatherford, 52, Pine Island, Minn., was arrested for possession of controlled substance, disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia and transported to Pierce County Jail.
At 5:38 p.m., police spoke to someone about a temporary restraining order at 328 Lake St.
At 11:42 p.m., officers were asked to check the area near 713 College St. for power outages. Everything appeared to be fine.
Wednesday, Jan. 28
At 4:38 p.m., an anonymous complainant at 145 Broad St. reported possible illegal gambling and tax evasion in a different jurisdiction.
Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at 6:02 p.m. at 145 Broad St. The driver was identified as Raymond L. Borg, 67, St. Paul Park, Minn.
Police conducted a welfare check at 8:40 p.m. at 960 Jefferson St. Everything was fine.
Lorenzo Iginio Mendez Cruz, 20, Eagan, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 9:59 p.m. at Highway 10 ad Dexter Street.
Officers were dispatched to a theft at 10:30 p.m. at Kwik Trip (1200 Henry St.) Joseph M. Saver, 43, Ellsworth, was cited for theft and trespassed.
Thursday, Jan. 29
Police received a fraud complaint at 12:43 p.m. at 272 S. Locust St.
