The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Jan. 30-Feb. 12, 2026.
Friday, Jan. 30
At 10:14 p.m., officers located an unoccupied, running vehicle at Orange and Broad streets. It was an accidental remote start.
Saturday, Jan. 31
Bruce Clyde Knapp, 69, Plymouth, Minn., was cited for failure to yield to pedestrian, bicyclist or EPAMD after a traffic stop at 10:37 a.m. at 117 Broad St.
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. at 1125 Henry St. between Avery I. Fredericks, 21, Hastings, Minn., and Linda R. Johnson, 68, Prescott. The two exchanged information.
Esmerelda Santana, 42, Burnsville, Minn., was cited for speeding during a traffic stop at 5:53 p.m. at Broad and Orange streets.
Officers responded at 5:54 p.m. to 616 Hilton St. for an intoxicated man. They arrested Andrew Dominic Cieslak, 24, Prescott, for domestic disorderly conduct and a probation violation.
Daniel James Hanken, 63, Prescott, was cited for operator violate red traffic light after a traffic stop at 9:05 p.m. at Broad and Orange streets.
Officers responded for a disorderly person at 10 p.m. at 630 Borner St. The man’s brother picked him up.
Sunday, Feb. 1
Travis John Hammrich, 48, Prescott, was cited for operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance and warned for registration of auto after a traffic stop at 10:33 a.m. at 241 Broad St.
Latoya Maureen Thomas, 41, Hastings, Minn., was arrested for extradition, ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 11:25 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Elm streets.
Police responded to an animal complaint at 4:32 p.m. at 120 Borner St.
Officers were dispatched to a barking dog complaint at 10:21 p.m. at 185 Linden Road. The owner was warned.
Monday, Feb. 2
Stuart John Schmidtke, 54, Farmington, Minn., was cited for a snow removal parking violation at 7:23 a.m. at 400 Dakota St. S.
Dawson Michael Nordquist, 19, Turtle Lake, was cited for a snow removal parking violation at 7:40 a.m. at South and Dakota streets.
David Kermit Chapin, 65, Prescott, was cited for a snow removal parking violation at 8:49 a.m. at Hampshire and Henry streets.

Dennis Gerard Skramstad, 61, Prescott, was cited for a snow removal parking violation at 9:04 a.m. at Hampshire and Henry streets.
Dominick C. Moe, 28, St. Paul Park, Minn., was cited for a snow removal parking violation at 9:11 a.m. at Hampshire and Henry streets.
Makayla Mae Williams Feisthauer, 18, River Falls, was arrested for felony bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for speeding at 12:49 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Police responded to a civil complaint at 4:10 p.m. at 272 Locust St. S.
Officers checked on someone parked near the cemetery entrance at 8:26 p.m. at 1110 Monroe St. They were doing homework.
Courtney Marie Winans, 37, Prescott, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 11:04 p.m. at Campbell and St. Croix streets.
Tuesday, Feb. 3
Police responded to a dog attack at 8:43 a.m. at 1487 Walnut St. Andrea Michelle Schrenkler, 37, Prescott, was cited for animal at large.
Wednesday, Feb. 4
Roselee Waller Wondra, 66, Eden Prairie, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:01 a.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.
Julie Ann Foley, 64, Wabasha, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:31 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Pedro Luis Reyes Alvarado, 33, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 3:45 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 10.
Mark Allen Lichtenwalter, 56, Chaska, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:19 p.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.
Christian Johan Niemann, 36, Hastings, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding and fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 4:37 p.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Ahmadullah Saifi, 22, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:49 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Shawn Robert Frandrup, 40, Prescott, was issued a written warning for speeding and fail/maintain – high-mounted stop lamp after a traffic stop at 8:13 p.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Thursday, Feb. 5
Officers were called to a possible fight in progress at 2 a.m. at 470 Monroe St. The occupants denied any altercation occurred.
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:39 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street between Andrew Patrick Vetter, 38, Prescott, and Zachary Charles Anderson, 36, Hastings, Minn. Vetter was cited for fail/yield while making left turn; Anderson was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Kevin Bruce Banashak, 72, St. Paul, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 12:53 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Derek Francis DeGross, 32, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:28 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 3:22 p.m., police mediated a dispute about a car that had been borrowed and not returned at 1115 Hampshire St.
Alixandra Rose Peterson, 32, Prescott, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:39 p.m. at Campbell and Henry streets.
Craig John Hansen, 42, Prescott, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 5:07 p.m. at Highway 10 and Campbell Street.
Patrick Lee Oudekerk, 40, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:09 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Craig James Klotter, 46, Two Harbors, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:20 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Abdirazaq Mohamed Abdullahi, 38, New Brighton, Minn., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 11:08 p.m. at Ryden Road and Dexter Street.
Friday, Feb. 6
Possible lost dogs were reported at 5:10 a.m. at Ash and Flora streets.
Jose Silberio Rivera, 56, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 6:07 a.m. at Hilton Street and Highway 10.
An officer took a fraud complaint at 11:14 a.m. at 1220 St. Croix St. The case is under investigation.
Rafferty Gage Parke, 35, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:18 p.m. at Broad and Orange streets.
Kleidis Sarais Rattia Villanueva, 23, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license and warned for excessive window tinting, operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance and failure to obey a stop sign after a traffic stop at 11:46 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Saturday, Feb. 7
Julie Ecklund, 68, Hanover, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:02 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Officers responded to a possible domestic at 1:17 p.m. at 334 Elm St. Police spoke with both parties about the loud verbal argument and provided resources.
Marissa Grace Whiteis, 22, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:26 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 10:21 p.m., police responded to a possible flame in a basement at 2096 Pleasant Drive. Police located multiple open flame propane heaters left on and turned them off for safety.
At 10:42 p.m., people called someone at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive impersonating the FDA requesting money. The caller was told to block the number and inform management.
Sunday, Feb. 8
Samuel Kumbong Kawuldim, 38, Stillwater, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:27 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 12:34 a.m., a caller advised police of an aggressive man at 117 Broad St. but didn’t want police response.
Officers escorted the Prescott High School dance team around team after their return from State at 9:35 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 9
At 8:26 a.m., a caller reported a noise complaint from the night before at 470 Monroe St. The residents were advised of the noise ordinance.
Tuesday, Feb. 10
Christopher Joseph Millan, 43, Baldwin Park, Calif., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 5:45 a.m. at Dexter Street and Ryden Road.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 2:02 p.m. at 907 Pearl St. Everything was fine.
Police took a possible harassment report at 3:15 p.m. at 2050 Jefferson St.
Wednesday, Feb. 11
Police received a suspicious person complaint at 6:46 a.m. at 1531 James St. A worker had shown up for work early.
Officers responded to a possible break-in at 1:43 p.m. at 606 Lake St. No one was located.
Darron Teryl Cork, 64, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., was arrested for OWI-first, possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia and keep open intoxicants in motor vehicle after a traffic stop at 3:53 p.m. at 302 Lake St.
Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 4:11 p.m. at 147 Locust St. involving Kent G. Landman, 62, Prescott.
Thursday, Feb. 12
Police received a fraud complaint at 10:23 a.m. at 365 Flora St.
A caller reported smelling gas at a business at 5:10 p.m. at 710 St. Croix St. Officers didn’t smell anything.
Police received a noise complaint at 10:10 p.m. about people at 470 Monroe St. They were told to keep it down.
Richard Trammel Williams, 44, Brooklyn Park, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 10:41 p.m. 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
