The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department reports July 11-17, 2025.

Friday, July 11

  • Jack Daniel Marcy, 24, Prescott, was arrested for violating an absolute sobriety bail bond violation at 2:35 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Court streets.
  • Larry Edwin Karg, 78, Hutchinson, Minn., was cited for operator make illegal right turn on red after a traffic stop at 8:04 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
  • Taylor Jeffrey Heinzen, 33, Prescott, was cited for operator make illegal right turn on red after a traffic stop at 9:10 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
  • Michael Scott Torrento, 37, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:39 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
  • Jayadeep Boya, 22, Middleton, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:16 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Police were dispatched to a vandalism complaint at 7:21 p.m. at 753 Helen St. The complainant requested extra patrol.
  • Zachary Scott Dickmeyer, 26, La Crosse, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:12 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Theft of a grill and fireplace was reported at 9:15 p.m. at 753 Helen St.

 

Saturday, July 12

  • A suspicious person was reported 12:22 a.m. at 1028 Borner St. The subject was found and escorted to Woodbury to meet with Woodbury police.
  • Erica Lea Meyer, 46, Pepin, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:53 a.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
  • Autumn Brynlee Canela Tuhy, 23, Bloomington, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:37 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Police investigated a drugs complaint at 12:40 p.m. at 1531 James St.
  • Amanda May Byom, 49, La Crescent, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:20 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

Sunday, July 13

  • Andrew Thomas Petrie Haning, 41, Woodbury, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Randy Eugene Diamond, 61, Cottage Grove, Minn., was arrested for OWI-first after a one-vehicle crash at 8:16 p.m. at 114 Broad St.

 

Monday, July 14

  • Marshall Richard Plenge, 23, Elgin, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:48 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
  • Richard Daniel Matthes, 44, St. Paul, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:49 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
  • Ruth Ann Hall, 58, Prescott, was cited for a code violation at 12:57 p.m. at 110 Flora St. after receiving several warning letters.
  • Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:18 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets between Jessica Lynn Wilds, 38, Prescott, and Jacquelyn Anne Gergen, 64, Hastings, Minn. Gergen was cited for unsafe lane deviation.
  • At 9:37 p.m., officers spoke to an upset husband and wife having relationship issues at 325 Dakota St.

 

Tuesday, July 15

  • Officers conducted a walk-through of Prescott High School (1010 Dexter St.) at 4:10 a.m. after finding doors propped open. Nobody was found in the building.
  • Julio Alberto Morales Jr., 29, Garland, Texas, was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 5:24 a.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 10.
  • Conner Jordan Bain, 21, Cottage Grove, Minn., was issued a written warning for non-registration of vehicle/auto after a traffic stop at 8:16 a.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
  • Matthew Vincent Trammel, 33, Prescott, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 8:27 a.m. at Highway 10 and Cherry Street.
  • Clinton Hasbrook Dehne, 55, River Falls, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:38 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
  • Chad Robert Marlow, 53, Hudson, was cited for fail/display vehicle license plates, cracked/damaged vehicle windshield, fail/properly maintain stop lamps, and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
  • At 6:52 p.m., police received a complaint about a bonfire and music at 675 Laura St. Officers spoke to the suspects.

 

Wednesday, July 16

  • Stacy Ann Kupsky, 44, Maple Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:36 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Officers responded to a noise complaint at 10:01 p.m. at 675 Laura St. No noise could be heard when they arrived.

 

Thursday, July 17

  • John Edward Groh, 52, Bay City, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:35 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Police responded at 6:34 a.m. to 1120 Highway 10 to speak to staff about a trespassing order.
  • At 6:35 a.m., residents at 1456 Robert St. reported their brother-in-law walking around their property for hours, where he was not wanted. They didn’t want him formally trespassed, just asked to leave.
  • Zachary Alan Jankovich, 30, Forest Lake, Minn., was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 2:24 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Police responded to a civil issue with a neighbor at 6:25 p.m. at 753 Helen St. The complainant was instructed to speak to the landlord.
  • Officers were dispatched to an animal at large complaint at 7:58 p.m. at 170 Mississippi St. The owner claimed the animal.
  • Julie Marie Garcia, 51, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:34 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Officers were called to a theft complaint at 8:37 p.m. at 753 Helen St. The complainant accused a neighbor of illegally digging and cutting an Xcel line. They were told it’s an issue for the landlord and Xcel.
  • August Htoo, 21, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:19 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Kevin Antonio Craft, 41, Elk River, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license and speeding after a traffic stop at 10:35 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
  • Officers responded to a domestic at 11:01 p.m. at 470 Monroe St. Jordan Isaiah Battin, 28, Prescott, was arrested.
