Prescott Police Department reports: June 27-July 3, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department June 27 through July 3.
Friday, June 27
Karston Alan Edson, 22, Forest Lake, Minn., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 12:33 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Officers responded at 4:35 p.m. to 236 Broad St. for a threats complaint.
Breanna Jean Overland, 38, Prescott, was cited for possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. at Chestnut and Ash streets.
Amanda Jan Walker, 42, Prescott, was cited for animal at large after her dog was almost hit by a vehicle at 9:03 p.m. at 374 Monroe St.
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at 10:51 p.m. in the BMO Bank parking lot (1049 Campbell St.) The person was identified as a night-time cleaner.
Officers were dispatched for an intoxicated driver at 11:59 p.m. at Prescott Middle School (1220 St. Croix St.) The vehicle was stopped at a residence in the county.
Saturday, June 28
Police responded at 8:10 a.m. to 515 Jefferson St. where someone was picking up trash. They were advised it was for authorized personnel only.
Megan Christine Connolly, 41, Prescott, was arrested for a warrant at 9:32 a.m. at 170 Tower Road.
Oscar Alberto Andrade Castillo, 27, Ellsworth, was arrested for operating while revoked and a warrant after a traffic stop at 1000 Highway 10.
Michael John Kosmalski, 44, Prescott, was issued a warning for a parking violation at 2:21 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Flora streets.
A theft was reported at 7:12 p.m. at 1505 Orrin Road. The case is under investigation.
Queety Sidney Tehway A. Badio, 30, St. Louis Park, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:03 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Officers were dispatched to a hit and run at 11:43 p.m. at 1409 Glenridge Drive.
Sunday, June 29
Officers responded to a report of a disorderly people at 2:42 a.m. at 145 Broad St. They were separated and one person was given a ride home to Hastings.
Elena Corrine Butzen, 24, Sheboygan, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:05 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
At 8:02 a.m., police saw a vehicle parked on Kasson Drive next to St. Croix Storage’s perimeter fence and saw someone inside a storage unit. The owner stated the unit was supposed to be empty.
Five dogs were found at large at 9:09 a.m. at 1000 Canton St. Renee Marie Hendrickson, 50, Prescott, was cited for animal at large and limitation of number of animals.
At 1:13 p.m., police located a trailer containing goats parked in an odd spot at 307 Lake St. No contact was made.
Monday, June 30
Taylor Marie Hintermeyer, 30, Richfield, Minn., was issued a written warning for fail/properly maintain stop lamps and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 7:52 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Officers were advised of a suspicious person at 8:48 a.m. at 582 Hillside Drive.
Victor Daniel White, 23, Houston, Texas, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:04 a.m. at 505 N. Campbell St.
Patrick John Bayer, 57, Hager City, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 11:24 a.m. at 1245 Ash St.
At 12:20 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop for an ordinance violation (side-by-side operation) near Warren and Washington streets. The subject was watering plants throughout the city. They were warned.
At 1:29 p.m., police were notified of a farm tractor left on city property at 515 Jefferson St. The tractor caused damage and was left there. The operator also cut limbos off trees. The tractor was towed.
Steven Martinez, 20, Lakeville, Minn., was cited for windshields – tinting/critical area and issued a written warning for vent/side window excessive tinting, rear side window excessive tinting and rear window excessive tinting after a traffic stop at 3:52 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
John Arthur Butenhoff, 52, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:26 p.m. at 180 Broad St.
Tuesday, July 1
Adam Christopher Collins, 37, Maplewood, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 1:27 a.m. at Highway 29 and County Road F.
Juan Carlos Ocampo Baron, 37, Elk River, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:58 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Tyne Agnes Maxwell, 28, Beldenville, was issued a written warning for speeding and improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 7:32 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Alta Leah Schaffer, 46, River Falls, was issued a written warning after a traffic stop for fail/display vehicle license plates and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 8:03 a.m. at Canton Street and North Acres Road.
Officers were called at 5:27 p.m. to 554 Pine Ridge Terrace for a civil dispute.
At 7:48 p.m., officers assisted Jerry’s Towing in retrieving a tractor stuck in the woods at Jefferson and Walter streets.
At 10:10 p.m., police issued a written warning to residents at 1225 Ash St. for burning tree branches.
Officers responded to a noise complaint at 11:19 p.m. at 675 Laura St. The subject turned down the music.
Elizabeth Marie Wangler, 19, Woodbury, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic top at 11:55 p.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Wednesday, July 2
Kim Renee Kirmeier, 57, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:02 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Yeng Jonathan Vang, 44, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:11 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Thursday, July 3
Sadik Khalif Abdallah, 41, Minneapolis, was cited for parking in a no parking zone at 5:42 a.m. at Dexter Street and Ryden Road.
Jesus German Amador Parra, 34, Janesville, was cited for parking in a no parking zone at 5:57 a.m. at Dexter Street and Ryden Road.
Officers were asked to report to a civil standby at 11:04 a.m. at 495 Flora St. but were cancelled before arrival.
Brenna Katherine Mayor, 20, Dayton, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:21 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Police were called to an altercation at 7:14 p.m. at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive. It was a minor verbal argument.
Aaron Joel Valla, 44, Tacoma, Wash., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:57 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
At 9:15 p.m., officers saw fireworks in the Lawrence and Washington streets area. They couldn’t locate the source.
