The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department May 2-8, 2025.
Friday, May 2
Oleg Yakimchuk, 45, Vancouver, Wash., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal and operating left of center line after a traffic stop at 12:32 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Avtar Singh Dhaliwal, 35, Bellingham, Wash., was cited for failure to obey traffic officer/signal and operating left of center line after a traffic stop at 2:25 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Police were dispatched to an alarm at 4:42 a.m. at 515 Jefferson St.
Brittany Faithe Klindt, 35, Prescott, was issued a warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 7:08 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 8:24 a.m., police notified Xcel Energy of a broken security lock and missing plate at 803 Kinnickinnic St.
Officers responded to a drug complaint at 9:07 a.m. at 1020 Highway 10. The substance in question was tested and was not drugs.
Andrew Thomas Nelson, 33, Baldwin, was issued a warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:42 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Officers participated in St. Joseph’s Walk of Virtues at 12:11 p.m. at St. Joseph School (281 Dakota St. S.)
Police were dispatched to an animal theft complaint at 1:05 p.m. at 1796 Jewell St. It was a civil issue between two parties.
Debra Jean Lindloff, 70, Chetek, was issued warning for speeding and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 1:36 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Layne Willis Jackson, 25, Elmwood, was arrested for operate without valid license (third within three years) and cited for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop for no front license plate at 4:13 p.m. Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
An intoxicated person was reported at 4:35 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street. They were not located.
Robert Leo Leclaire, 58, Woodbury, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 7 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Dakota streets.
Carol Ann Keim, 72, Prescott, was issued a written warning for improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 7:39 p.m. at Canton Street and North Acres Road.
Tina Two Moons Barrett, 50, Prescott, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates and operate without carrying a license after a traffic stop at 7:58 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 10.
David Bruce Hicok, 37, Bloomington, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 9 p.m. at highways 10 and 29.
Duncan Fae Coe, 26, River Falls, was issued a written warning for fail/properly maintain headlamps and improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 9:11 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 29.
Carter William Elliott, 27, Hudson, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 9:28 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Shannon Alexandria Meath, 31, Osceola, was issued a written warning for operator violate yellow traffic signal after a traffic stop at 10:23 p.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 29.
Saturday, May 3
Officers conducted a welfare check at 6:32 a.m. at 574 Northern Lights Drive. Everything was fine.
At 3:34 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious person wearing a mask in a van near Public Square Park (Elm and Kinnickinnic streets). They were picking up their kids.
Christopher Emile Johnson, 34, Prescott, was issued a warning for failure to obey traffic officer/signal and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 6:42 p.m. at Linden and Tower Heights roads.
Police warned two people about ordinance violations at 10:27 p.m. at Prescott Public Beach (715 Lake St.) They were there after hours with alcohol.
People in two vehicles were warned for being in the park after hours at 10:48 p.m. at Freedom Park (200 Monroe St.)
At 11:46 p.m., a caller reported loose goats at 1110 Willow Lane. They were not located.
Sunday, May 4
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 3:04 a.m. at Albert and Canton streets. Someone was looking for their lost dog and agreed to keep the volume down.
A dog was found at 8 a.m. at 735 Laura St.
Daryl Lee Jensen, 66, Wabasha, Minn., was issued a warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:14 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Derek Blain Mallard, 33, Tokio, ND, was cited for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia at 11:41 a.m. at 1120 Pearl St.
Roger Leo Peine, 61, Hastings, Minn., was issued a warning for a parking violation at 1:07 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Front streets.
Officers responded to a civil matter at 3:35 p.m. at 804 St. Croix St.
At 5:21 p.m., police received a complaint of loud music at Orange and Young streets. Police asked them to turn the music down.
Officers attempted a welfare check at 7:08 p.m. at 451 Second St. The person was located.
Isidro Leonides Silva Reyes, 22, Fridley, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop for unnecessary acceleration at 8:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.
Monday, May 5
Riley Jerome Morris, 19, Hugo, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:09 a.m. at Wacota and Jefferson streets.
Glennys Herbert Krick, 82, Sebastian, Fla., was issued a warning for improper parking at 8:47 a.m. at Orange and Broad streets.
Benjamin Dan Sadowski, 53, Winona, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:16 a.m. at 180 Broad St.
Kevin Walter Sirmons, 51, Doylestown, Penn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:18 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
At 2:49 p.m., a complainant reported items removed from a residence at 264 Locust St. S.
Officers responded to an unwanted subject complaint at 6:39 p.m. at 172 Campbell St. James Patrick Keaveny, 39, St. Cloud, Minn., was cited for trespass to land.
Tuesday, May 6
Erick Rafael Urbina Bolivar, 25, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license and warned for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:04 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Alex Michael Westland, 27, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 5:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.
Jason Michael Boles, 54, Prescott, was cited for automobile/appliance storage restrictions ordinance violations at 9:15 a.m. at 122 Court St.
Troy Nathan English, 44, Newport, Minn., was cited for fail/properly maintain stop lamps, operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance, operate without valid license and failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 12:10 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Officers were advised of an animal complaint at 12:11 p.m. at 1000 Canton St. A verbal warning was issued.
Carson Edward Wright, 19, Ellsworth, was cited for unsafe lane deviation after a traffic stop at 1:24 p.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Wednesday, May 7
At 2:20 a.m., a caller reported people putting a garbage can in the roadway at 142 Broad St. They were identified and warned.
Joseph Martin Lehmann, 22, Hastings, Minn., was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 6:08 a.m. at Laura and Lawrence streets.
At 11 a.m., a possible abandoned boat was reported at 720 St. Croix St.
Oswaldo Daniel Chuello Cardenas, 39, St. Paul, was cited for operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance, fail/display vehicle license plates and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 12:46 p.m. at Ash and Young streets.
Leopoldo Torres Pozo, 30, Bay City, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 10:35 p.m. at Campbell and Henry streets.
Thursday, May 8
Lynn Therese Spindler Ebensperger, 63, Pepin, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:18 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Jonathan J. Maradiaga-Moreno, 22, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and speeding after a traffic stop at 5:46 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Marie Renee Galban, 57, Garland, Texas, was issued a warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:02 a.m. at Monroe and Washington streets.
Angela Dawn Richardson, 48, Prescott, was issued a warning for fail/stop at stop sign after a traffic stop at 7:24 a.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.
Alexandria Inanna Zaila, 46, Rochester, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:35 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
At 1:58 p.m., police performed a welfare check on someone sleeping at 515 Jefferson St. Everything was fine.
