The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department May 23-30.
Friday, May 23
Officers saw two suspicious men standing in a front yard at 12:48 a.m. at College and St. Croix streets. One man cursed at officers.
At 2:57 a.m., a resident at Prescott Nursing & Rehabilitation (1505 Orrin Road) called police to say they weren’t getting helped. A staff member came into their room while they were on the phone with police.
Joi Denise Thomas-Jones, 47, Burnsville, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:24 a.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Sophie June Schafer, 24, Red Wing, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after at traffic stop at 9:37 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Court streets.
Frederik Allen Huff, 48, Bay City, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:14 p.m. at Broad and Orange streets.
Steven Robert Seekamp, 55, Somerset, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and cited for operating left of center line after a traffic stop at 9:26 p.m. at 1200 Henry St.
Saturday, May 24
Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a K9 sniff at 1:08 a.m. at highways 10 and 29.
Police were advised of a possible crash and disorderly juveniles at 3:19 a.m. at 2068 Pleasant Drive. Nothing was located.
Officers received a noise complaint at 3:21 a.m. at 907 Pearl St. A man said he would turn the TV down, which was not excessively loud.
Ryan Michael Hanson, 43, Prescott, was cited for an open burning violation at 6:12 a.m. at 328 N. Locust St.
Joshua Michael Chismar, 40, Red Wing, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:12 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Jacob Daniel Miska, 48, Hastings, Minn., was cited for failing to display a launch permit/fee at 12:25 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Joseph Daniel Shankland, 40, Stacy, Minn., was cited for failing to display a launch permit/fee at 12:36 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Nathan Ryan Watts, 35, Prescott, was cited for failing to display a launch permit/fee at 12:48 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Fredrick Darzell Brown, 46, Eagan, Minn., was cited for failing to display launch permit/fee at 12:58 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Octavio Aragon Figueroa, 51, Lakeville, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:54 p.m. at Orange and Broad streets.
Nina Iacarella Kapelke, 31, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:10 p.m. at Lawrence and Jefferson streets.
Jake Ellis King, 37, Plum City, was cited for operating while suspended and operate without carrying license and issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 2:27 p.m. at Lawrence and Jefferson streets.
Keng Yang, 30, St. Paul, was arrested for OWI, operating with PAC and possess open intoxicants in motor vehicle after a traffic stop for inoperable tag lights at 11:03 p.m. at 1200 Henry St.
Sunday, May 25
Jack Daniel Marcy, 24, Prescott, was arrested for felony bail jumping and a probation hold at 12:26 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Michael James Schommer, 52, Prescott, was arrested for OWI-fifth and cited for deviation from designated lane after a traffic stop at 1:12 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Nicholas Charles James, 44, Eagan, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:26 a.m. at 1107 Jefferson St.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:29 a.m. at 1400 N. Acres Road.
An officer picked up a found dog at 2:12 p.m. at Pearl and Henry streets.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at 4:12 p.m. at 517 Lake St. It was accidentally tripped by a neighbor returning a cooler.
Police saw an unattended bonfire at 10:45 p.m. at 466 Dakota St. The residents were warned.
Monday, May 26
Tou Yia Chang, 32, Brooklyn Park, Minn., was cited for a parking violation at 9:07 a.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Thomas H. Moehnke, 70, Eagan, Minn., was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 11:15 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Dean Irwing Schilling, 57, Spring Valley, was issued a written warning for operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance and fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 12:25 p.m. at 577 Locust St.
A woman called police after losing her phone at 1:28 p.m. at 190 Wacota St. The phone was pinged and found.
Ying Xiong, 42, Woodbury, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:40 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Tuesday, May 27
Officers responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash at 5:19 a.m. at Eagle Ridge Drive and Highway 29.
Okey Pascal Okechukwu, 42, Winona, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:12 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Robert Lee Roy King, 73, Lake City, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:37 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
James Willard Estrem, 77, Northfield, Minn., was issued a written warning for failure to obey traffic officer/signal after a traffic stop at 11:47 a.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Wednesday, May 28
Catherine Marie Clancy, 51, Prescott, was issued a written warning for operator violate yellow traffic signal after a traffic stop at 3:34 p.m. at Canton Street and North Acres Road.
Officers responded to car vs. trailer crash at 4:38 p.m. at 288 Tower Heights Court. Neil Joseph Riley, 80, Prescott, was arrested for OWI-first.
Thursday, May 29
Timothy David Payne, 54, Hudson, was issued a written warning for fail/display vehicle license plates after a traffic stop at 6:54 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Cindy Lou Haney, 67, Prescott, was issued a written warning for improperly attached license plates after a traffic stop at 9:47 a.m. at Hope and Hilton streets.
Steven James Schultz, 58, Cottage Grove, Minn., was arrested for a warrant at 10:08 a.m. at Prescott Police Department (1601 Pine St.) when he went there to report lost/stolen medication.
At 3:42 p.m., a caller complained of loud noise coming from the softball field at Campbell and Pine streets. The softball team was warming up for a playoff game. They were asked to turn the music down.
Officers responded to an open container complaint at 5:18 p.m. at Orange and Front streets. The courtesy dock was empty when police arrived. Keng Yang, 30, St. Paul, was arrested for OWI.
Police were notified of an intoxicated person at 9:49 p.m. at Kwik Trip (1200 Henry St.) A sober party gave the person a ride home.
Friday, May 30
Brooks Edward Graves, 54, La Crosse, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:37 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Jason John Zambrano, 51, St. Paul Park, Minn., was arrested for disorderly conduct at 11:44 p.m. at 114 Broad St.
