The following incidents were reported Prescott Police Department Oct. 3-9, 2025.
Friday, Oct. 3
Police conducted a welfare check at 9:28 a.m. at 654 Washington St. Everything was fine.
Officers responded to a custody dispute at 1:49 p.m. at 1051 Orrin Road.
Saturday, Oct. 4
Police were notified of a vandalism complaint at 2:58 a.m. at 470 Monroe St.
Officers were dispatched to a fraud complaint at 4:03 p.m. at 141 Broad St.
Sunday, Oct. 5
Officers checked on a possible abandoned vehicle at 12:26 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets. The driver had run out of gas. Police gave them a courtesy ride to the gas station.
Police were dispatched to an assault at 1:56 a.m. at 145 Broad St.
Officers were asked to check on a possible homeless person trespassing at 5:50 a.m. at 451 Second St. They were gone when police arrived.
Police responded to a disorderly subject/neighbor dispute at 6:06 p.m. at 487 Delta Queen Ave. Marquita Marie Anderson, 34, Prescott, was cited for trespass to land and disorderly conduct.
Monday, Oct. 6
Amaya Shakyra Sims, 20, Minneapolis, was cited for possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia, speeding, operate without valid license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 10:14 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
John Edward Feyen, 64, Amery, was cited for parked vehicle for sale prohibited at 3:44 p.m. at Walnut Street and Tower Heights Court.
Kevin Dennis Hass, 36, St. Paul Park, Minn., was cited for fraud on gas station after a gas drive-off incident at 6:32 p.m. at 302 Lake St.
Lael Lee Lemire, 31, Fountain City, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:42 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Officers were notified of suspicious activity at 9:15 p.m. at Monroe and Jefferson streets, possibly someone smoking in a vehicle. The person was smoking a cigar.
Police responded at 9:33 p.m. to 145 Broad St. for a disorderly person. The case is under investigation.
Diego Paul Lema, 30, St. Paul, was cited for speeding, operate without valid license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 11:10 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Tuesday, Oct. 7
Officers responded to a vandalism complaint at 3:39 a.m. at 961 Jefferson St.
Ronald Roy Malles, 68, St. Paul, was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:45 p.m. at 180 Broad St.
At 7:37 p.m., police were asked to check on a vehicle parked outside of Prescott Chiropractic (1380 N. Acres Road). Everything was fine.
Tailynne Mikayla Hughes, 20, Prescott, was issued a written warning for fail/properly maintain headlamps, non-registration of vehicle, fail/display vehicle license plates and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 7:48 p.m. at highways 10 and 29.
Officers responded to a vandalism complaint at 8:12 p.m. at 961 Jefferson St.
Wednesday, Oct. 8
Police warned residents at 4:56 p.m. at 1057 Cedar Lane for a burn violation.
At 7:42 p.m., police received a complaint of a dog continuously barking outside at 1813 Canton Road. The owner was notified.
Thursday, Oct. 9
Police received a loose dog complaint at 9:46 a.m. at 2060 Pleasant Drive. The owner was warned.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 11:10 a.m. at 1066 Monroe St. The person was fine.
Police were dispatched to a vandalism complaint at 6:44 p.m. at 961 Jefferson St.
Dustin Joel Haxton, 29, Wabasha, Minn., was cited for operating motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop for speeding at 8:59 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
