The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Sept. 19-25, 2025.
Friday, Sept. 19
Donald Charles Hodgson Jr., 47, Hudson, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 2:51 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Saturday, Sept. 20
Police checked on people at 6:40 a.m. walking in the eastbound lane of Highway 10 at Locust Street. They were warned to stay off the road.
Mitchell Bradley Platt, 19, Prior Lake, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:53 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
At 5:53 p.m., police located three piles of garbage dumped on private property at 1750 Ryden Road.
Sunday, Sept. 21
Jose Alfredo Garcia Perea, 21, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license and speeding after a traffic stop at 7:42 a.m. at Broad and Cherry streets.
Gabrielle Marie Geary, 30, St. Louis Park, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:11 p.m. at Broad and Cherry streets.
At 10:22 p.m., an officer saw suspicious vehicles parked at First National Bank (1151 Canton St.) They were hiding under the drive thru trying to keep their vehicles from getting hailed on.
Monday, Sept. 22
Courtney Lou Bierbrauer, 32, New Richmond, was issued a written warning for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop for a defective headlight at 6:19 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Kimberly Joy Anderson, 47, Prescott, was arrested for operating while revoked (alcohol related) and cited for speeding, operate without carrying license, operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance, and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install after a traffic stop at 9:29 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Trevor Aston Brown, 34, River Falls, was cited for non-registration of vehicle, operate without carrying license and operating while suspended after a traffic stop at 11:53 a.m. at Orange and Front streets.
Abdishakur Abdifatah Hassan, 21, Brooklyn Park, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding, fail/display vehicle license plates and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 1:01 p.m. at 260 Broad St.
Nikomi Samson Barnes, 33, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., was issued a written warning for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:44 p.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Jeremy Jay Marek, 51, Prescott, was arrested for OWI-eighth and cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:42 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Flora streets.
Tuesday, Sept. 23
Sayra Silvana Gonzalez, 22, River Falls, was cited for fail/properly maintain headlamps, operate without valid license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 7:59 a.m. at Campbell Street and Willow Lane.
Cody Dwane Johnson, 21, River Falls, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and issued a written warning for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 3:26 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Young streets.
Concepcion Clemencia Canas Caleno, 48, St. Paul, was issued a written warning for speeding and non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 3:41 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Sarah Ann Amato, 39, Lake City, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:11 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Police conducted a welfare check at 11:29 p.m. at 554 Pine Ridge. No action was taken.
Wednesday, Sept. 24
At 1:46 a.m., police attempted to locate an elderly woman walking around looking confused near 907 Pearl St. She was not found.
Gerson Lisandro Velasquez Cajas, 29, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:52 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Lukasz Wieslaw Madejski, 42, Hickory, NC, and Nikolozi Makarashvili, 32, Monroe, NY, were cited for parking in a no-parking zone at 9:56 a.m. at Dexter Street and Ryden Road.
At 10:24 a.m., police assisted the BNSF railroad with a homeless encampment at Kinnickinnic and Front streets.
Colin Andrew Emerson, 29, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:16 a.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
Thursday, Sept. 25
Jerome Edward Goulet, 91, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for failure to yield right-of-way after a traffic stop at 8:43 a.m. at Ellen Street and Highway 10.
Celia Marie Peterson, 37, Prescott, was cited for a traffic violation after a traffic stop at 7:34 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Nicole Renee Lutz, 29, Maplewood, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:42 p.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Police conducted a welfare check at 10:01 p.m. at Kwik Trip (1200 Henry St.) No distress was noted.
