Public invited to State of the City Address Tuesday, March 8

RIVER FALLS – The City of River Falls will host the annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, March 8, at 8:30 a.m. at Tattersall Distillery and Event Center, 1777 Paulson, Road, River Falls. The public is encouraged to attend the presentation and Q & A session at no charge. No registration is necessary for this event.

Community members and civic partners are invited to join city staff to experience the highlights of 2021 in review. The event will begin with a welcome from Mayor Dan Toland followed by a presentation by City Administrator Scot Simpson. This will be an opportunity for the public to learn about the events, activities, and happenings that shaped 2021, with an eye toward what the city is doing to create a resilient future for the people of River Falls.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding the upcoming comprehensive planning process and learn about Focus River Falls. All are welcome.

The River Falls City Council will soon consider adding a stop sign on Hamilton Drive at its intersection with Washington Street. A resident made the request due to an increase in nearaccidents.
