RIVER FALLS – The River Falls American Legion is hosting a special Saturday, Oct. 16 show featuring the “Church of Cash,” a group dedicated to keeping Johnny Cash’s memory, music and message alive. With more than 1,000 shows played, the Church of Cash has toured internationally and in 2019 received the Midwest Country Music Association’s “Best Tribute” award.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. limited- seating event are $20 each and being sold on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be purchased from the Post at 701 N. Main St., River Falls, on Friday mornings between 8 and 10 a.m., Friday evenings after 4 p.m., or during other Post events. They are also available from Freeman Drug, 104 S. Main St., River Falls.
“We’re excited to be able to offer this opportunity to River Falls and the surrounding communities,” said Melissa Hildebrandt, Post 121 Commander. She notes that the show will be preceded by a social hour starting at 6 p.m.
