Tuesday, July 1

Police were dispatched at 9:15 a.m. to Kwik Trip (1238 N. Main St.) for a disorderly conduct complaint. A woman said she had pulled into the tire filling station to put air in her tire. The tire continued to leak air and couldn’t be properly filled, so she got into her car to call her husband for advice. While she was on the phone, and man and woman pulled up next to her and began to yell at her, using profanities and foul language. She tried to explain to them that she would be done soon, but they were irate. She said the man got out of the car and came toward her vehicle, which scared her. As she left, her son snapped a photo of their license plate. After watching video surveillance of the incident, police felt the incident was exaggerated and decided not to look into it further.
