The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office June 12-20.

Sunday, June 12

Officers were called at 8:27 a.m. to N8784 Highway 128, Spring Valley, where multiple intoxicated people were fighting. The parties were separated.

Police responded at 2:10 p.m. to N1090 825th St., Hager City, for a disorderly person who left before police arrived.

Monday, June 13

Deputies investigated a fireworks complaint at 1:13 a.m. near W9850 795th Ave., River Falls. Two suspects were located near the River Falls Town Hall and warned. Their parents were also notified.

At 5:04 a.m., a caller reported finding a vehicle at his gas barrels at W9393 460th Ave., Hager City. Police talk – ed to both parties, who worked it out.

The township removed a tree from the roadway at 9:50 a.m. at 710th Avenue and County Road G, Elmwood.

A citizen contacted police at 7:56 p.m. after finding a baggie containing a crystal-like substance at the park (W6490 Lake Pepin Blvd., Bay City). The substance tested positive for meth. A male driver was arrested for OWI after a traffic stop for defective license plate lamps at 8:44 p.m. at County Road D and 250th Avenue, Bay City. The driver admitted to drinking and smoking weed before driving.

Officers responded to a medical call at 9:46 p.m. at W7941 County Road KK, Ellsworth. A man there had cut his arm on tin from a shed. EMS transported him to the hospital.

Police arrested a driver for OWI-first, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for left of center at 10:12 p.m. at High – way 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. The driver was also cited for operate without license and operating left of center.

A K-9 officer assisted River Falls police at 10:37 p.m. at 1238 N. Main St. in attempting to locate items removed from a stolen vehicle. Tuesday, June 14

Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 3:59 a.m. that had been parked at the end of a dead-end road (1250th Street, Prescott) for some time. Nothing suspicious in the area was located.

At 6:09 a.m., an 860th Street (Ellsworth) resident called police to report his neighbor casting spells on him. Officers discussed different ways the situation could be handled.

Police were asked to perform a welfare check at 8:01 a.m. at N8034 920th St., River Falls. They found a man deceased inside.

Officers responded to a domestic at 8:39 a.m. at N1768 County Road K, Hager City. The woman had bruises on both upper arms. The man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.

Deputies were called to a civil matter at 8:59 a.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley. After property was exchanged, one person was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant and trans ported to St. Croix County Jail.

A caller reported a smashed mailbox at 9:17 a.m. at W5352 County Road N, Beldenville. At 1:38 p.m., a Bay City village employee reported a group of juveniles camping in the campground who toilet-papered the bathrooms at 2 a.m. and tried to get into another camper’s tent. They requested extra patrol.

At 2:04 p.m., a group home resident at N5335 760th St.,Ellsworth, asked police to remove her from the residence. They told her they cannot do that without proper approval.

A fight in progress was reported at 4 p.m. near 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street. No vehicles or people were located. Officers attempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding at 7:04 p.m. near County Road O and Highway 35, Hager City. The motorcycle fled and the pursuit was discontinued.

Deputies responded to a domestic at 8:10 p.m. at S238 Church Ave., Spring Valley. The parties were separated and interviewed. The man agreed to leave for the evening.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road at 10:24 p.m. at County Road O and 710th Avenue, River Falls. The people there said they were having engine trouble and working on removing the vehicle.

Officers responded to a vehicle fire at 11:09 p.m. near highways 10 and 63, Ellsworth. A vehicle had overheated and flames were coming from the engine. Wednesday, June 15

At 1:11 a.m., deputies assisted River Falls police in locating a runaway juvenile in Ellsworth. At 1:22 a.m., officers were called to W5184 250th Ave., Bay City, for a possible burglary. There was no one in the residence and no sign of forced entry.

A caller reported missing cattle at 6:19 a.m. at N7213 County Road O, River Falls. Officers responded at 1:35 p.m. to 109 Nelson Drive, Elmwood for a welfare check. The caller gave them permission to kick in the door. Inside police found an unconscious man. EMS transported him to Mayo Hospital in Menomonie.

Deputies responded to a verbal domestic at 5:50 p.m. at W1045 Cardinal Drive, Spring Valley. Both parties separated for the evening and Child Protective Services was called.

Thursday, June 16

Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 2:01 a.m. in the parking lot at W6490 Lake Pepin Blvd., Bay City. The vehicle had a light shining inside, but no one was around.

Deputies checked on a man sleeping in a vehicle at 2:51 a.m. at the Maiden Rock campground. The man said he was there to fish. Police responded at 8:43 a.m. to a possible domestic at N7652 650th St., Beldenville. A man was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping.

Officers checked on a man walking on the side of the road at 3:22 p.m. at Highway 10 and 322nd Avenue, Maiden Rock. They gave him a ride to River Falls.

A caller reported a man walking at 4:21 p.m. near E345 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The man was walking to work.

Deputies responded at 8:09 p.m. to N8034 920th St., River Falls for a possible domestic. The complainant heard two people yelling and believed things were being thrown. The female suspect said they’d decided to separate for the evening after an argument. The male half of the incident was not located.

Friday, June 17

Police checked on vehicles parked at a wayside at 12:31 a.m. in Hager City. The occupants said they were trying to locate a Hilton Hotel.

Officers arrested a man for a warrant at 12:51 a.m. at N5167 860th St., Ellsworth. He was transported to Pierce County Jail.

At 5:18 a.m., a man called to report his wife missing at W1045 Cardinal Drive, Spring Valley. He said she had left two nights ago after a verbal domestic. He hadn’t tried contacting her but wanted her re – ported missing. Police reached her and she said she was fine.

A caller reported an elderly man walking southbound on Highway 63 at 9:05 a.m. near County Road K. Police didn’t locate him.

At 9:42 a.m., police stopped a vehicle near N2368 Highway 63, Hager City, for having no visible front plate and exhaust dragging on the ground. Two people exited the vehicle; one of them was holding a knife. The female driver was arrested for a warrant and drug-related charges. The man was also arrested for drug-related charges.

Police received a call at 10:04 a.m. about an ongoing issue in which the complainant thinks someone is messing with her ponies at W8110 770th Ave., River Falls. She believes her neighbors are harassing the horses when she’s gone and transmitting signals from their house to her pony pens. She was advised to set up cameras.

Police arrested a woman for a St. Croix County warrant at 1:18 p.m. at N8890 200th St., Spring Valley.

At 6:03 p.m., police at – tempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding at Highway 65 and 770th Avenue, River Falls. The rider took off at over 100 mph, passing other vehicles.

Officers responded at 6:26 p.m. to Lock & Dam No. 3, where the fire department pulled a boat off the roller gates and took it to Treasure Island Marina, where they met with Goodhue County for a report and investigation.

Deputies responded at 9:33 p.m. to W8441 285th Ave., Hager City, where a man had cut himself and was being aggressive. He was transported to Red Wing Mayo Hospital.

Saturday, June 18

A driver was arrested for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for an out headlight at 12:41 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street South, Hager City.

Deputies responded at 5:40 a.m. to 1889 Windflower St., River Falls, for a garage fire.

Officers were called at 10:43 a.m. to W763 County Road G., Elmwood, for kids playing in the road. A grandparent was contacted and advised to watch the kids.

Police responded at 5:37 p.m. to W1578 330th Ave., Plum City, for a shop fire. It appeared the fire started from a tractor in the shop.

Sunday, June 19

Police were called to a verbal argument at 8:45 a.m. at S910 Beltline Road, Spring Valley. The complainant wanted a man to leave the residence, but changed his mind and allowed him to stay in a camper on the property. Numbers to shelters were provided.

Officers responded at 1:40 p.m. to a barn fire at N6133 825th St., Ellsworth.

At 1:59 p.m., police received a hit and run report. They located the suspect at her residence at 109 N. Main St., Elmwood. She was cited for hit and run.

A caller reported her child got locked in a vehicle at 11:26 p.m. at W7649 290th Ave., Hager City. She was able to talk the child into unlocking the door.

Monday, June 20

At 2:35 a.m., police responded to 108 Eau Galle Drive, Elmwood, for an unresponsive man in front of a residence. A man was arrested for possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia and OWI first.

A caller at N8203 940th St., River Falls, reported at 7:14 a.m. suspicious women walking through people’s yards in the early morning hours. He wanted it documented.
