The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriu's Ovce April 18-23.

Monday, April 18

Deputies were asked to assist with an in –

mate at the jail at 7:01 a.m. at 555 W. Over – look Drive. Ovcers at 8:22 a.m. to the area of W6626 870th Ave., River Falls for a missing person report. He was located in St. Croix County.

Police received a report of a suspicious car parking in a field drive at 12:38 p.m. near N4845 County Road DD, Ellsworth. The driver was a delivery person and had pulled over to take a nap. Deputies were called at 1:07 p.m. to respond to W3665 850th Ave., Spring Valley, for a dog bite. Ovcers spoke with the victim and the dog's owner. Police checked on a person walking through the woods to a creek for fishing at 1:25 p.m. near W3684 Highway 72, Ellsworth. The person was warned for trespassing.

Two people were arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, and possess drug paraphernalia after a travc stop for expired registration at 4:09 p.m. near Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City.

When police made contact, they smelled marijuana prompting a vehicle search. They were taken to Pierce County Jail.

At 8:16 p.m., a deputy tried to stop a vehicle for speeding near N4380 Highway 35, Prescott. The vehicle fled and a pursuit be – gan. The vehicle was eventually spiked and the driver taken into custody. The driver was later transported to Regina Hospital in Hast- ings, Minn by ambulance.

Tuesday, April 19

Police responded at 11:39 a.m. to W3856 Highway 10, Ellsworth, for a suspicious person complaint.

Ovcers were notified of a grass fire at

11:52 a.m. at W11574 478th Ave., Prescott.

The fire department arrived before police and put the fire out without incident. Police were called at 4:55 p.m. about a possible injured eagle in a field near N2153 County Road D, Bay City. Before police ar- rived, it flew into a tree. Deputies responded to a business alarm at 6:56 p.m. at N1555 770th St., Hager City. Ev- erything appeared to be fine after a sweep of the building. A complainant reported someone shining deer from an ATV at 9:23 p.m. near county roads S and H, Maiden Rock. Ovcers were dispatched to a dog bite at 9:27 p.m. at W4380 270th Ave., Maiden Rock.

Wednesday, April 20

Deputies responded at 12:02 a.m. to an open-ended 911 call at W8441 285th Ave., Hager City. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

A citizen reported a downed tree at 11:35 a.m. at County Road A and 270th Avenue near Maiden Rock. A citizen removed the tree from the road.

At 12:49 p.m., a resident reported that the hatch on her garage crawl space had been removed (at 559 N. Maple St., Ellsworth) and was sitting inside the attic area. Nothing was located in the crawl space. Her landlord suggested it might be due to suction from the wind when the garage door went up.

Thursday, April 21

Police located an unoccupied vehicle parked on private property at 12:14 a.m. near 830th Street and County Road K, Hager City. The area was searched but nobody was locat – ed. Attempts to reach the vehicle's registered owner were not successful. A note was left on the vehicle to contact PCSO. A woman was arrested for a failure to appear warrant and operate without valid li- cense after a travc stop at 5:19 p.m. at Cem etery Road and Highway 65 in River Falls for

expired registration.

Ovcers responded to a threat complaint at 5:47 p.m. near Cemetery and Oak Hill roads in Bay City. Both parties were advised to cease contact.

Friday, April 22

A complainant reported three turkey hunt ers trespassing on private property at 7:43 a.m. at N4831 170th St., Elmwood. They left before police arrived. Contact was made and they were told to stay ou private property. Deputies assisted at 12:17 p.m. with a mock fatal crash and OWI arrest at Plum City High School (907 Main St., Plum City). Ovcers checked on a vehicle in the ditch at 5:12 p.m. near N7974 Highway 65, River Falls. The driver had ride and a tow on the way.

A man was arrested for OWI-sixth after a travc stop for a revoked driver's license at 8:42 p.m. near W9852 290th Ave., Hager City.

Police responded at 9:53 p.m. to W8331 480th Ave., Ellsworth, for a structure fire. Nothing on scene appeared suspicious.

Saturday, April 23

Deputies responded at 1:14 a.m. to a re- port of a fight in progress at N673 825

th St., Hager City. No witnesses, victims or suspects were on the scene when police arrived.

St., Hager City, for a group of disorderly peo- ple who were blocking patrons from leaving. People on the scene said they would not stand in the middle of the parking lot. Police came upon a woman walking along the road at 3:29 a.m. near Highway 10 and Hill Street in Ellsworth. She was given a courtesy ride to the David Motel. Deputies responded at 8:03 a.m. to the area of 860th Street and 520th Avenue near Ellsworth for an injured eagle. It flew away when ovcers arrived. Ovcers checked on a suspicious person looking around the sand mine (County Road S and 300th Street, Maiden Rock) at 9:59 a.m. The person was taking photos from the road. A rural Ellsworth resident reported at 11:12 a.m. that a neighbor/brother had placed a spell on him and he couldn't' sleep. He asked police to tell his brother to stop. Police called the brother who said he believes there is an issue with the complainant's medica –

tion. He advised he would contact his broth –

er's doctor. Deputies assisted Prescott police with an unexpected death at 12:21 p.m. at 1112 Willow Lane.

A caller reported damage to his mailbox and two neighbors' mailboxes at 2:02 p.m. at N3412 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. Nothing at the scene identified the driver or a suspect. The caller wanted the incident documented.

Police checked on a car parked partially in the ditch at 4:19 p.m. near W8242 Highway 29, River Falls. The driver was attempting to pick up someone out turkey hunting. Deputies assisted River Falls police with a large college party at 5:33 p.m. at 665 Sycamore St.

When police tried to make contact with her, she stood up and walked away. She ignored attempts to ask if she needed help. A caller reported a fight in progress in a truck pulled over at 8:17 p.m. near 650

Street and 340th Avenue, Ellsworth. The truck was gone when police arrived.

Deputies responded at 8:47 p.m. to W2482 Highway 10, Maiden Rock, to assist Plum City Fire with tree branches that had fallen onto a power line.

Ovcers were called at 10:18 p.m. to W12644 714th Ave., River Falls, for a dog bite report. Quarantine paperwork was issued.
