The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office March 7-14.

Monday, March 7

Deputies assisted Prescott police with a welfare check at 2:23 a.m. at Two Rivers (117 Broad St.)

Deputies assisted Prescott police at 3:47 a.m. at 657 Dexter St. S.

At 7:47 a.m., a caller reported that his vehicle’s brakes went out and he went airborne, landing in deep snow near Highway 35 and County Road K, Hager City.

Officers responded to a medical call at 6:03 p.m. at N2949 985th St., Hager City, and assisted Red Wing Fire as needed.

Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked at 9:31 p.m. at E345 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The driver was on the phone relaxing before heading home.

Tuesday, March 8

Officers were called at 2:11 a.m. to W8101 290th Ave., Hager City, for a verbal domestic. A woman there was highly intoxicated. A friend picked her up and took her to their house for the evening. Neither party wanted to write statements.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving by her residence at 7:20 a.m. near N3206 490th St., Bay City, The suspect vehicle was a local. Nothing suspicious was located.

A highway sweeper responded at 4:59 p.m. to Highway 10/County Road E, Hager City, to clean up broken glass covering the road.

Officers responded at 4:15 p.m. to a report of a disorderly woman at N4376 County Road DD, Ellsworth. The woman was taken by private vehicle to a Minnesota hospital.

A Pierce Pepin employee notified police at 5:01 p.m. that while working on a meter that had unpaid bills at W3581 160th Ave., Maiden Rock, they noticed the meter had been bypassed, which resulted in energy theft.

Police checked on two vehicles parked along the road at 11 p.m. near 463 E. Wall St., Ellsworth. They had just gotten done wrangling a horse back into a pasture.

Wednesday, March 9

Deputies responded at 3:54 p.m. to N8357 450th St., Spring Valley, for a possible house fire, where they assisted Spring Valley Fire as needed.

At 6:40 p.m., a complainant reported a theft at W3581 160th Ave., Maiden Rock. He wanted to get his items from his trailer on the property. Someone at the property said the complainant could come get his items.

Police responded to an alleged intentional gas drive-off at 7:06 p.m. at Highway 29 Express (W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley.) Police were trying to reach the suspect, who had been identified.

Thursday, March 10

At midnight, police observed two vehicles at a storage unit at W7858 170th Ave., Hager City. A voicemail was left for McStorage’s owner.

At 6:02 a.m., a caller reported a possible burnt smell coming from an apartment complex at N8034 920th St., River Falls. Police located an apartment with its window open and oven door open, as if it was being aired out. Police were unable to make contact with anyone in the apartment.

Extra patrol was requested at 3:49 p.m. for a tower shelter at N8293 900th St,. River Falls.

Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with a traffic stop at E345 Highway 29.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:22 p.m. at Highway 63 and 180th Avenue, Hager City.

Police responded to a UTV crash with injury at 11:02 p.m. at W7646 170th Ave., Hager City.

Friday, March 11

Deputies helped collect loose cows in the road at 2:21 a.m. near N8451 Highway 128, Spring Valley.

At 9:38 a.m., a caller reported the theft of two signs at N1817 785th St., Hager City. The business owner will review camera footage and call back.

Police were called at 10:57 p.m. to highways 10 and 63 near Ellsworth for cattle in the ditch near the road. No cattle were located.

Officers responded at 11:36 p.m. to N1582 County Road C, Bay City, for a domestic. A woman fled before police arrived and was later taken into custody.

Saturday, March 12

Police were requested to perform a welfare check at 1:28 a.m. at N5330 387th St., Ellsworth. A man was having medical issues; EMS arrived and transported him to a hospital.

Officers were requested to stand by while a man removed his possessions from a home at 1:29 p.m. at W5350 490th Ave., Ellsworth.

Deputies responded to a fight in progress at 2:36 p.m. at N4741 810th St., Ellsworth. Those involved were located down the road where interviews were conducted. Both parties were cited for disorderly conduct.

A caller reported a stolen political sign at 7:08 p.m. at N3904 Highway 63, Ellsworth.

Police responded at 8:53 p.m. to a verbal altercation involving alcohol at N6612 Highway 65, Beldenville. Police transported three adults from the scene to Econo Lodge because they were no longer allowed at the residence.

Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 11:09 p.m. parked at N1299 825th St., Hager City. The driver didn’t have a valid license, so a valid driver came to pick her up.

Sunday, March 13

A caller reported a suspicious truck and trailer at 5:53 a.m. at W4830 480th Ave., Ellsworth. The caller believed the homeowner was not home. The owner was contacted and they had just returned home.

A caller requested a welfare check at 2:38 p.m. near County Road K and 285th Avenue, Hager City. The caller reported a woman sitting on the side of the road, but she wasn’t located.

Deputies assisted Prescott police with a domestic incident at 4:52 p.m. at 1000 Canton St. A man was arrested and taken to Pierce County Jail.

Prescott Fire Department located a gas leak in the vicinity of Highway 29 and County Road F at 6:41 p.m. St. Croix Gas responded to take care of it.

Police assisted a lost person at 11:35 p.m. near 890th Avenue and Highway 128, Spring Valley. The person was trying to walk to Minneapolis. A friend came to give them a ride.

Monday, March 14

At midnight, a caller reported that someone has been knocking on the windows between 11 and 11:30 p.m. the past couple of nights at W7709 170th Ave., Hager City. No one was located. The caller requested extra patrol.

At 8:10 a.m., a caller reported suspicious activity that occurred in her home two days prior, at W8110 770th Ave., River Falls. The caller was advised to keep her camera operating and to write down where items are placed.

A caller reported at 8:57 a.m. that someone had bent his windshield wiper blades at N8847 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
