The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. Nov. 8-15.

Monday, Nov. 8

An officer was following a white Chrysler Town & Country van at 12:43 p.m. at Highway 10 and County Road U near Plum City when it struck a small buck, causing damage to the front passenger quarter panel. The buck was not located.

At 2:42 p.m., a complainant reported finding a septic pipe running onto his property at N6241 490th St., Beldenville. He wanted the discovery documented.

A deputy cleared a tree from the roadway at 2:43 p.m. at Highway 35 North and 150th Avenue in Bay City.

An officer responded at 7:18 p.m. to W5642 Highway 72, Ellsworth, for suspicious activity. A complainant said a vehicle was parked in his field drive. The driver said the vehicle was having a mechanical problem. It was removed later.

Police were called at 10:20 p.m. to 750th Street and Highway 65 in Beldenville for a driving complaint. One of the men involved was found behind Clyde’s Corner Bar, where he was arrested on warrants.

Tuesday, Nov. 9

A complainant reported loud music in an apartment at 4:40 a.m. at N8034 920th St., River Falls. When police arrived, they heard nothing.

Deputies assisted River Falls police in locating a man at 5:48 a.m. in Prescott. He was arrested in relation to a domestic incident in which he took a child without the mother’s permission from a home in River Falls.

At 9:43 a.m., an officer responded to W8746 480th Ave., Ellsworth, for a loose horse. The deputy and a neighbor were able to get the horse back inside a fence.

Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at 4:21 p.m. at W12326 884th Ave., River Falls. All doors and windows were secure, but a dog was in the residence.

Officers responded at 5:48 p.m. to County Road C and 155th Avenue, Bay City, for an argument between neighbors. Neither person wanted anything done, but police spoke with both parties and warned them for their behavior.

An officer responded at 9:50 p.m. to County Road F and 820th Avenue, River Falls, for a deer that was still alive after being struck by a car. The officer dispatched the deer.

Wednesday, Nov. 10

A deputy responded at 12:42 a.m. to 220 Church St. for a disorderly person and assisted RF police as needed.

An officer responded at 9:05 a.m. to W6442 Highway 35, Bay City, for a property damage complaint.

A deputy assisted Prescott police at 10:20 a.m. with a welfare check at 180 Broad St. Everything appeared to be okay.

At 5:10 p.m., an officer dispatched a deer after a crash at N5992 County Road O, Ellsworth.

At 6:09 p.m., an officer arrived at the scene of a vehicle vs. deer crash at Highway 35 North and 150th Avenue, Bay City, to dispatch a deer. The driver took possession of the deer.

Officers were called at 6:44 p.m. to N4365 County Road CC, Maiden Rock, for a verbal domestic. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.

Thursday, Nov. 11

An officer checked on a man coming out of a storage unite at 12:28 a.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City. The man was picking up a work truck.

A deputy removed a tree from the roadway at 4:54 a.m. at County Road O and 650th Avenue, River Falls.

A deputy dispatched an injured deer at 9:20 a.m. at County Road J and 690th Street, Beldenville.

Police responded at 11:13 a.m. to W9806 Highway 35, Hager City, for an unwanted person. Police told the complainant the unwanted person likely has tenant rights. The complainant disagreed and said she’d call the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Police reported a missing stop sign at 7:34 p.m. at County Road F and 770th Avenue, River Falls.

At 9:48 p.m., police responded to W3470 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, where a woman said people were outside her home calling her name. Police found no one and advised her to lock her doors.

A caller reported at 11:09 p.m. that a vehicle had hit his mailbox at W7611 450th Ave., Ellsworth. He requested extra patrol.

Friday, Nov. 12

A deputy assisted RF police at 2:39 a.m. at 430 Griffey St.

Police took a report of several damaged mailboxes at 6:32 a.m. on 450th Avenue, Ellsworth.

At 6:39 a.m., a complainant reported that someone had come onto their property at W7746 Highway 10, Ellsworth, taken photos of their cats and posted them on Facebook for people to buy. The complainant wanted the suspect notified that they’re not allowed on the property nor allowed to take their cats.

A deputy assisted RF police at 2:55 p.m. at 214 S. Wasson Lane.

The Plum City Superintendent reported at 4:17 p.m. having problems with juveniles hanging out at the elementary school (621 Main St., Plum City) after hours causing problems. Police gave him some options.

Officers responded at 4:28 p.m. to N6526 1323rd St., Prescott, for suspicious activity. A complainant said a vehicle had been abandoned near her residence and two men were walking around it earlier in the day. Police left a message for the vehicle’s registered owner and it was marked for removal.

Police responded at 9:06 p.m. to W3470 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, where family members had located a deceased female.

Officers were called at 11:27 p.m. to N673 825th St., Hager City, for a domestic in progress. The woman didn’t want to file a report and the man had already left. The establishment owner said the woman was causing a disturbance and should be trespassed.

Saturday, Nov. 13

Officers were called at 12:27 a.m. to W6311 Highway 63, Ellsworth, for a suspicious activity complaint. The caller said they could see flashlights and a vehicle parked nearby. Officers found no one.

At 12:42 p.m., police responded to N8884 County Road Y, River Falls, for a disorderly person. All parties were talked to and told to leave each other alone.

At 11:03 p.m., officers went to N6012 130th St., Elmwood, for a possible chimney fire. Police assisted as needed.

A vehicle lost control and went into the ditch onto the railroad tracks but was able to get off the tracks at 10:18 p.m. on Wabash Street in Bay City. The driver was cited for failure to maintain control. An Xcel power pole was damaged.

At 11:09 p.m., Red Wing police requested help with a highrisk traffic stop anear N1090 825th St., Hager City. Multiple juveniles were detained for a Red Wing PD investigation. They were released to their parents.

Sunday, Nov. 14

Police responded at 1:31 a.m. to N5638 County Road E, River Falls, for a possible domestic no longer in progress. A complainant reported someone being strangled by a boyfriend after which he fled from the home. Deputies searched the area but didn’t find the suspect. He was later located and arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and strangulation and suffocation.

At 4:04 a.m., deputies responded to County Road W and 770th Avenue, River Falls, for a one-vehicle crash with unknown injury. A complainant said the driver failed to stop for the stop sign, struck a utility pole and fled the scene. Police later located the driver who received multiple citations.

At 8 a.m., police responded to the area of 850th and 848th avenues near River Falls for an ATV crash, along with DNR wardens. The driver was found deceased near the ATV.

Police were called at 10:35 a.m. to W3132 850th Ave., Spring Valley, where a complainant located an open door on a building. Police searched all buildings and located no signs of forced entry. Nothing seemed to be missing.

Officers checked on people seen walking through the woods with lights on at 7:49 p.m. near County Road A and 385th Street, Maiden Rock. They were dragging a deer out of the woods and all appeared okay.

Police responded at 9:32 p.m. to N525 Foote Ave., Spring Valley, for a disorderly and intoxicated man who had broken items in a home. He was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

Monday, Nov. 15

An officer found a horse grazing on the road shoulder at 5:39 a.m. near N4664 840th St., Ellsworth. The officer got the horse near an enclosure, but not in it. The owner was left a message.

A large power outage occurred around 6:08 a.m., covering parts of Elmwood, Maiden Rock, Durand, and Plum City. Dairyland and Xcel Energy were notified.
