July 25

Officers responded at 9:53 p.m. to W7858 170th Ave., Hager City, for a possible domestic. The two people agreed to separate for the night.

July 26

At 10:34 a.m., a caller at N1833 785th St., Hager City, reported a car in their lot that needed to be moved so the parking lot could be paved. The vehicle’s registered owner could not be reached.

A gas drive-ff was reported at 12:31 p.m. at W6396 Highway 35, Bay City. The driver was a younger white male with blond hair and an average build. He was driving a blue Buick or Mercury with possible front-end damage and Wisconsin plates.

At 2:13 p.m., a caller reported that as a car passed him near County Road J and Highway 65 in Beldenville, his rear window broke and the driver flipped him off. The second driver was located and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 3:53 p.m., a caller wanted to report an assault at Main Street and Winter Avenue in Elmwood, but requested to speak to the Elmwood police officer.

At 5:15 p.m., a caller reported a possible stolen cat at N1241 Wabash St., Bay City. The complainant said the cat had previously run away, but he found it with someone else. The suspect agreed to return the cat.

July 27

At 8:06 a.m., a deputy removed a dead coyote from the road at 490thAvenue and County Road C, Ellsworth.

At 9:03 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious man sleeping in a vehicle near his property at W7080 645th Ave., Beldenville. Police made contact with man, a newspaper delivery man. He was asked to leave the property.

At 9:49 a.m., deputies assisted a man in getting farm equipment across the bridge at Highway 63 and 810th Street South, Hager City.

At 1:19 p.m., a caller reported that horses at N3430 County Road O, Hager City, have injuries due to “too many horses” being there. She was also upset the owner wouldn’t sell her a horse for under asking price. It was found that the owner had adequate acreage for the number of horses.

At 3:30 p.m., a caller at W219 Terrace St. Spring Valley, reported that he had had a verbal altercation with his sister. He wanted the incident documented as she was threatening to get a restraining order. He refused to complete a written statement.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 4:17 p.m. at N4360 County Road C, Ellsworth.

Police received an animal complaint for N4376 County Road DD, Ellsworth, at 8:24 p.m.

At 11:48 p.m., deputies located a vehicle near N1891 830th St., Hager City. While searching private property, deputies located two people. They were cited for trespassing.

July 28

At 3:20 a.m., police observed a vehicle parked near 985th Street/290th Avenue in Hager City, where 911 cell open lines were coming from. The vehicle’s center console was open and keys were in the cup holder. No one was nearby that police could see.

At 4:35 a.m., police observed a vehicle in the parking lot of a business that was recently burglarized. The vehicle drove away, but police stopped it at County Road KK and Highway 63 (Ellsworth) and identified the driver.

A missing Great Pyrenees dog was reported at 9:33 a.m. at N7011 820th St., River Falls.

Deputies received a report of two found dogs at 3:49 p.m. at W9128 640th Ave., Ellsworth.

At 5:10 p.m., police were called to W3527 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, where a complainant wanted someone removed from the bar. The person left before police arrived.

At 6:15 p.m., a complainant reported someone dumped eight used tires on his property at N5786 County Road J, Ellsworth. There are no suspects.

At 8:30 p.m., a caller reported a burning smell coming from an electric plug in a kitchen at W7709 170th Ave., Hager City. Ellsworth Fire also responded and determined it was an electrical short. There was no fire.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:31 p.m. at 610th Avenue and 670th Street near Ellsworth. The vehicle soon left.

At 10:37 p.m., a caller reported a tree down across both lanes of Highway 10 near County Road U, Plum City. A deputy and off-duty fireman were able to clear the tree.

At 10:42 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle vs. tree crash at W4202 Highway 29, Spring Valley. A vehicle struck a downed tree in the roadway.

Deputies assisted Elmwood Fire at 10:57 p.m. at W2428 490th Ave., Elmwood.

Debris from the storm was reported in the road at 11:16 p.m. at W4197 370th Ave., Ellsworth.

At 11:17 p.m., police were notified that a tree went through a woman’s roof at N5452 170th St., Elmwood, and she was stuck in her kitchen with no injuries. The woman denied transport to the hospital.

At 11:26 p.m., a person reported that a house was leveled in the storm near 770th Avenue and County Road CC, Spring Valley. A deputy checked the area and did not locate the house.

At 11:32 p.m., a deputy found a tree in the road at W2101 770th Ave., Spring Valley. A citizen removed the tree.

At 11:38 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 108 Eau Galle Road, Elmwood. The vehicle was located at a residence on Highway 72 and the people told to stay home.

At 11:42 p.m., the western-most power line was reported down in the ditch along County Road B north of County Road I, Spring Valley.

July 29

At 12:22 a.m., police assisted Spring Valley police with a crash at County Road CC and Highway 29, near Team Oil.

Debris was reported in the road at 12:30 a.m. at 630th Avenue and Highway 72, Elmwood.

At 12:43 a.m., police responded to a garage knocked down in the storm at W2535 770th Ave., Spring Valley.

At 12:46 a.m., deputies contacted the Highway Department for a tree limb blocking the road at W950 Highway 72, Elmwood.

At 1:03 a.m., a deputy found a tree blocking both lanes of traffic on Tower Hill Road in Plum City. City personnel were notified.

At 1:32 a.m., deputies removed multiple trees and branches from the roadway at 110th Street and County Road G, Elmwood.

At 1:33 a.m., deputies removed trees and branches from 50th Street/County Road P near Elmwood and from 850th Avenue/County Road BB near Spring Valley.

At 1:34 a.m., officers removed tree branches from the road at 330th Street and Highway 29, Spring Valley.

At 1:47 a.m., deputies were notified of a live power line down across County Road A near Maiden Rock. Two county plows responded and had the road blocked and secured until Pierce Pepin arrived and removed the line.

At 3:35 a.m., a deputy responded to a tree across the road at W5137 290th Ave., Bay City. A neighbor removed the tree with a Bobcat.

Deputies located and removed trees from the roadway at 3:54 a.m. at 283rd Street/770th Avenue, Spring Valley.

Debris was removed from the road at 6:50 a.m. at N7078 Highway 128, Elmwood.

A tree was removed from the road at 7:03 a.m. at 770thAvenue and County Road W, River Falls.

At 7:17 a.m., deputies responded to W5959 Highway 10, Ellsworth, for a stolen 2021 Polaris Ranger 570. The UTV was taken out of a shed.

At 7:59 a.m., deputies removed a dead deer from the road at Eau Galle Road and Highway 29, Spring Valley.

At 8:05 a.m., deputies dispatched an injured deer in the north ditch at W12495 Highway 10, Prescott.

At 1:19 p.m., a caller reported a driver hit a road sign at highways 35 and 63 in Hager City and left the scene. The vehicle was located and evaluated for a medical condition.

At 5:54 p.m., a caller reported a large rattlesnake in the road at at E8072 185th Ave., Hager City. The complainant was able to relocate it.

A caller on 846th Avenue requested extra patrol at 8:35 p.m. A person claiming to be from Joshua’s Pest Control came to her door, which she found odd.

At suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:07 p.m. at N3699 730th St., Hager City. Officers couldn’t locate a vehicle.

Police responded to a car vs. deer crash at 9:17 p.m. at W8798 Highway 29, River Falls. The vehicle had to be towed.

July 30

Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot at 3:52 a.m. at N3941 Highway 35, Prescott. An employee said he had just arrived for work.

A vehicle theft/burglary was reported at 5:38 a.m. at N4845 County Road DD, Ellsworth.

At 8:21 a.m., a caller reported his work vehicle stolen from his driveway at N5109 530th St., Ellsworth. The keys had been left in the vehicle.

Deputies assisted with loose cows and a horse at 9:17 a.m. at N2434 County Road VV, Hager City.

At 10:52 a.m., police responded to a verbal domestic at N6091 County Road QQ, Prescott. A man there left willingly.

At 2:02 p.m., a caller reported a neighbor not shooting in a safe direction at W8642 640thAve., Ellsworth. Police spoke with everyone involved and confirmed the rules of discharging a firearm.

At 4 p.m., police received a complaint about people driving on each other’s lawns at 415 S. Woodworth St., Elmwood. Both parities were told to get permission before driving on other people’s property.

At 4:56 p.m., police responded to N1463 367th St., Maiden Rock, for an intoxicated man who fell and hit his head. EMS responded.

At suspicious person parked on the side of the road was reported at 10:54 p.m. at 410thAvenue and County Road D, Ellsworth. Phone contact was attempted with the juvenile suspect.

A resident at N7501 1250th St., River Falls, requested extra patrol.

At 11:22 p.m., officers checked on abandoned property at N2432 490th St., Bay City.

July 31

At 1:43 a.m., two vehicles and two people were located in a parking lot without a parking pass at N1299 825th St., Hager City. They were about to start fishing, but neither had a fishing license. One man was arrested for a Minnesota warrant.

At 2:56 a.m., police responded to County Road D and Highway 35, Bay City, for a disabled vehicle where a possible intoxicated driver took off. The driver was not located.

A caller reported people on her property at 9:01 a.m. at N6091 County Road QQ, Prescott. A man was served a temporary restraining order and told to leave the property. The man’s customers were advised to set up times with the homeowner to pick up any property.

At 9:29 a.m., a suspicious person was reported at W3487 Highway 35, Maiden Rock.

At 9:30 a.m., a caller reported his missing child was in the vehicle in front of him in the 200 block of Broadway Street in Prescott. The suspect vehicle did not have a child in it. Edina police told PCSO that the caller had reported his child missing to them this morning, but the child was located safe with his mother.

At 2:01 p.m., PCSO assisted Prescott police with an attempted burglary at the abandoned hospital at 445 N. Court St. A suspect left on a bike. The person was later located, identified and released.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 4:21 p.m. at 620th Street and County Road V, Ellsworth. The vehicle registration came back to a local resident.

At 6:25 p.m., police spoke with a Prescott resident about threats she was receiving from someone she sold a vehicle to. Evidence and statements were collected.

At 7:55 p.m., deputies found stop signs down at two intersections (710th Avenue and 950th Street) in the town of River Falls. They appeared to be storm damaged.

Aug. 1

During a traffic stop for speeding at 12:04 a.m. at 830th Street and Highway 35, Hager City, stolen power tools were confiscated.

At 8:42 a.m., a deputy found a tree in the roadway at N1696 450th St., Maiden Rock. Dispatch notified the township.

At 8:47 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious man trying to remove decals from a work vehicle at W1622 70th Ave., Plum City. The vehicle turned out to be stolen. Police arrested the driver and took him to jail.

A caller reported a noise complaint at 1:11 p.m. at W219 Terrace St. The resident was listening to grunge metal and singing along.

Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash with injury at County Road UU and 100th Avenue near Plum City.

Officers responded to a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash at 3:55 p.m. at W6484 Highway 35, Bay City. A driver was cited for operating a vehicle without insurance.

At 6:19 p.m., a caller reported seeing a mini van driving through the woods at W7794 570th Ave., Ellsworth. The homeowner and others in the area did not report seeing the van, which was not located.

At 8:21 p.m., a caller reported a missing front plate from his semi at W7249 155th Ave., Bay City.

At 9:09 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot at N3699 730th ST., Hager City. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

A suspicious vehicle containing four people was reported at 9:52 p.m. at N1555 770th St., Hager City. The told police they came to “hang out” but would be moving on.

Aug. 2

At 7:45 a.m., police responded to a church parking lot at N3699 730th St., Hager City, for a vehicle that has been frequenting the lot every day. The vehicle was not located.

At 7:59 a.m., a caller reported a pig that fell out of apassing trailer at W3478 650th Ave., Spring Valley. The pig was located and recovered. Three other pigs also fell out but were not yet located.
