Many in attendance presumed the result would be an automatic first down for Prescott. Nope, not in high school football. The down remains the same after the penalty walk off. On the ensuing play the Panthers stopped the Cardinals on fourth down. The rule needs to be changed. Pass interference should be an automatic first down. Right now, the rule is a headshaker.
