To the editor,
Four candidates will vie for three positions in the April 2, 2024 River Falls School Board election: Alan Tuchtenhagen, Crystal DuBois, David Bo Hirstein, and Monica LaVold. The American Association of University Women will again sponsor a School Board Candidate Forum to be held on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the District Central Office meeting room. All are welcome to attend. Information about the live stream will be available at https://www.youtube.com/live/yG946ByoXDU
Rita Kozak, an experienced moderator, will conduct the forum with questions submitted by community members in advance. Questions to the candidates should be sent by 10 a.m. the morning of the Forum on Feb. 29 to aauwriverfalls@gmail.com .
The forum will provide an opportunity for community members to get to get know the candidates and to be informed about their positions prior to voting on April 2, 2024.
