ELLSWORTH — There is nothing quite like the energy of a new school year starting up in Ellsworth. The quiet summer hallways are officially gone, replaced by the chaotic, wonderful noise of students and staff catching up, finding their classrooms, and diving into a brand-new year of learning.
Before the kids even walked through the doors, our local business community stepped up in a big way to make sure our educators felt appreciated. The Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Salute to Educators luncheon right in the Ellsworth High School cafeteria, making for the perfect kickoff to the season. It’s always incredible to see local business owners, civic leaders, and school staff sitting down together in the same room. On top of the great meal, every single staff member walked away with a fantastic goodie bag packed with gifts from our local business community.
The School District of Ellsworth wants to send a huge thank you to the Chamber, the event sponsors, and every local business that contributed to the goodie bags and made the luncheon possible. Your support and generosity mean the world to our staff. Starting a new school year takes a village, and knowing that our local businesses have our back provides an incredible boost of momentum for everyone.
Looking ahead, we are excited to keep building on this momentum. A thriving town and strong schools go hand-in-hand. By working closely with the Chamber and our local community partners this year, we can continue to create great opportunities and support networks for our kids.
Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead, fueled by great community partnerships and always focused on what matters most—doing what is best for our students. Welcome back, Panthers!
