The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County
Sheriff’s Office June 7-14.
June 7
•Police were notified of a car vs. deer crash at 6:03 a.m. at 620th Avenue and Highway 10. No injuries were reported and the truck was drivable.
•At 9:23 a.m., theft of a catalytic converter was reported at N6081 1170th St., Prescott. The complainant said someone went into a fenced area and cut it off one of their work trucks.
•Police responded at 9:36 a.m. to 412 W. Kinne St., Ellsworth, where a disorderly woman was taken into custody on a warrant.
•At 3:44 p.m., police received a theft report from N3598 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
•At 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to W3147 County Road G, Elmwood, for a disorderly person. The man was transported by EMS for a possible medical situation.
•At 7:16 p.m., deputies responded to N4883 County Road O, Hager City, for a property damage complaint. A lock appeared to have been cut from a building. Nobody was inside and it was unknown if anything was stolen.
•Deputies assisted jail staff at 7:27 p.m. with a suicidal inmate.
•At 9:05 p.m., police receiving an erratic driving complaint from the 570th Avenue/750th Street area near Ellsworth. Police located two vehicles and three juveniles who admitted to driving without licenses. All three were cited.
•At 10:56 p.m., deputies assisted jail staff with moving a disorderly inmate.
•Policer responded to N353 Sabin Ave., Spring Valley, at 11:23 p.m. for an unwanted person. Police explained the eviction process and the parties agreed to stay separate for the evening.
June 8
•Deputies removed two trees from the road at 5:17 a.m. at County Road A and Highway 35 near Maiden Rock.
•Deputies assisted jail staff with a troubled inmate at 7:30 a.m.
•At 8:26 a.m., a complainant reported the theft of a red 2015 Boss snowplow with side wings that was taken from behind a dryer shack building sometimes in the last three weeks at N1464 770th St., Hager City.
•PCSO assisted Ellsworth police with a disorderly subject during a traffic stop at 10:37 a.m. at 610 E. Main St.
•Deputies responded at 3:36 p.m. to W3147 County Road G, Elmwood, where someone was attempting to light the residence on fire. A person was taken into custody.
•At 4:53 p.m., deputies followed a partially disabled vehicle as it slowly drove back to its residence at W6439 690th Ave., Beldenville.
•At 11:03 p.m., deputies assisted Pierce Pepin with a tree fallen onto a power line at 635th Street and Highway 10, Ellsworth.
•Police responded to trees down in the roadway at N5098 450th St., Ellsworth, at 11:46 p.m. The township was contacted and trees removed.
•Deputies assisted Pierce Pepin with two downed power poles at 11:50 p.m. at 515th Avenue and County Road C, Ellsworth.
June 9
•A complainant reported a mailbox hit for the second time in two weeks at 7:36 a.m. at W12246 620th Ave., Prescott. It’s unknown if the incidents are targeted or accidents. The complainant requested extra patrol.
•A complainant reported a dead raccoon on a power pole at 10:37 a.m. at 690th Avenue and County Road E, River Falls, the caller thought it might be a hate crime since the same pole had a dead raccoon on it one year ago. Pierce Pepin responded and said the raccoon was electrocuted.
•At 12:16 p.m., signs were reported ripped out at Main/Wabash, Elsa Court/Elsa Avenue, a stop sign and a no parking sign on Elsa Avenue, and a County Road EE sign in Bay City. A complainant had suspect(s) on camera.
•Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:16 p.m. with a verbal domestic at 603 S. Main St.
•A complainant requested extra patrol at 2:50 p.m. at W2221 County Road G, Elmwood. The caller said a black SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon, has been on her property twice; each time the caller approaches to ask what they are doing, people get in the SUV and take off.
•Police responded at 8:41 p.m. to W11149 County Road M, River Falls, for an unwanted person who comes around when the resident is not home. The suspect was contacted and told to stay away.
June 10
•Deputies responded at 3:20 a.m. to 721 E. Campbell St., Ellsworth, for suspicious activity. Nothing was located.
•Deputies assisted RFPD at 4:35 a.m. at 104 E. Locust St., River Falls.
•At 5 a.m., a caller requested extra patrol in downtown Maiden Rock during “rush hours.”
•At 7:37 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported at N3699 730th St., Haer City. No vehicle was located.
•At 9:18 a.m., a caller reported that her mailbox is repeatedly getting wrecked at W12235 620th Ave., Prescott. She asked for safeguarding ideas.
•At 10:25 a.m., a complainant told police that sometime throughout the night, fuel was siphoned from their vehicles at 206 E. Maple St., Plum City. They have no suspects or video footage.
•At 2:12 p.m., deputies responded to N2121 County Road V, Hager City, for two men who were unconscious but breathing. EMS responded as well. A warrant was obtained for illegal substances and multiple drug-related charges were forwarded to the district attorney’s office, along with a felony gun possession charge.
•At 4:26 p.m., a complainant reported that UTVs are “absolutely disrupting” his life in the 265th Avenue/County Road S area of Plum City. He said they go way over the speed limit in the afternoon and on weekends.
•Police made contact with a complainant at 8:55 p.m. who said she was afraid of the demons in her house at N1681 830th St., Hager City. Ultimately, she did not require aid.
•At 9:39 p.m., a suspicious person and vehicle were reported at N6354 Highway 63, Beldenville. Nothing was located.
•A K-9 was called to the scene of a traffic stop at 11:36 p.m. at highways 63 and 72 near Ellsworth. The driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and another person was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
June 11
•At 2:42 a.m., police found a man sleeping on the ground at 111 S. Main St., River Falls. The intoxicated man was given a courtesy ride to his residence by RFPD.
•Deputies assisted RFPD at 2:53 a.m. at 431 N. Second St.
•Police responded to a car vs. deer crash at 5:10 a.m. at 580th Avenue/670th Street, Ellsworth. The vehicle was towed.
•Police checked on a man walking down Highway 65 in Beldenville at 10:55 a.m. The man’s vehicle had broken down. Police gave him a ride to Ellsworth to find someone to pick up his vehicle.
•Police removed several tree branches from the road at 11:59 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street South, Hager City.
•Deputies responded to County Road EE and Highway 35, Bay City. For a tree down. They assisted with traffic until the tree could be removed by the Highway Department.
•Police were called at 12:12 p.m. to 410th Avenue/County Road D, Ellsworth, for a tree on the powerlines that was sparking. The power company was called.
•Deputies were notified of a tree on a power line at 12:36 p.m. at N6433 Highway 72, Elmwood. Xcel arrived to work on the problem.
•A deputy removed a tree from the road at 12:43 p.m. at County Road CC and Highway 72 near Elmwood.
•Storm damage to buildings, trees and power lines was reported at 12:45 p.m. at W2523 Highway 72, Elmwood. The property owner said everyone was okay.
•Deputies removed multiple trees and limbs from the road at 12:47 p.m. at 330th Avenue/490th Street, Ellsworth.
•A damaged power line was reported at 12:49 p.m. at N3206 490th St., Ellsworth. Pierce Pepin fixed the line.
•Debris was removed from the road at 12:50 p.m. at County Road CC/Highway 72, Waverly.
•Police found a tree blocking both lanes of traffic at 12:54 p.m. at 330th Avenue/490th Street, Ellsworth. The township was notified.
•Several trees were downed on Hammond Hill at 1:03 p.m. at Highway 72/630th Avenue, Elmwood. The Highway Department removed them.
•Police found two trees in the eastbound traffic lane at 1:08 p.m. at W3890 370 Ave., Ellsworth. They notified the township.
•Police responded to downed power lines at 1:15 p.m. at W3301 450th Ave., Maiden Rock. The power pole was broken and lines were still above the road. The power company was notified.
•A caller reported a shed damaged by a downed tree at 1:21 p.m. at N6265 Highway 72, Elmwood. The property owner said everyone was okay.
•Trees were down in the road at 1:22 p.m. at 280th Street/370th Avenue, Maiden Rock.
•Deputies checked on a farm with damaged buildings at 1:27 p.m. at N4622 County Road CC, Elmwood. Everyone was okay.
•An unwanted person was reported at W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The person has been trespassed from the business.
•Police responded at 1:41 p.m. to W123 County Road PP, Elmwood, where a barn shifted off its foundation after the storm. Everyone was okay.
•Deputies removed tree branches from the road at 1:54 p.m. at 450th Avenue/County Road CC, Elmwood.
•Trees were down across the roadway at 2:16 p.m. at 400th Street/Highway 10, Ellsworth. The township was also notified about a damaged bridge guard rail.
•Police assisted the Highway Department with a downed tree at 6:11 p.m. at 617th Street/County Road EE, Bay City.
•Several trees blew over and damaged the outer fence and scoreboard at the Elmwood Expos field, N6433 Highway 72, Elmwood. A report was taken at 3:19 p.m.
•Deputies responded to N8325 1126th St., River Falls, for two stranded kayakers at 10:24 p.m. Police located them and took them to their vehicle.
June 12
•Deputies assisted Prescott police at 1:06 a.m. at 117 Broad St.
•Deputies assisted Prescott police with a domestic incident at 1:42 a.m. at 657 Dexter St. S., then at the jail with an arrested man.
•PCSO assisted Prescott police at 2:12 a.m. at 117 Broad St.
•Deputies responded at 2:25 a.m. to Broad and Orange streets in Prescott to patrol at bar close.
•Police responded at 2:54 a.m. to 455 E. Wall St., Ellsworth, for a drunk person. No one was located.
•Police were called at 5:27 a.m. to W6534 Carson St., Bay City, for a report of someone walking on a roof and someone inside a house. No one was located. •Police were notified of a tree across the roadway at 7:39 a.m. at County Road B/Golf View Drive, Spring Valley. SV Public Works responded to remove the tree.
•Deputies assisted Bay City village staff at 8:53 a.m. at W6149 County Road EE, Bay City, with traffic control while they cleaned up downed trees.
•Deputies assisted Prescott police at 10:51 a.m. at 657 Dexter St. S. with a possible domestic incident and OWI-arrest.
•At 12:23 p.m., PCSO received a call from a lost fisherman at W5379 730th Ave., Spring Valley. The fisherman flagged someone down and got a ride to his vehicle.
•A complainant called PCSO at 4:19 p.m. to report a suspicious incident that occurred at 11 p.m. June 11 at W3790 1130th St., River Falls. A vehicle pulled into a driveway and someone knocked on the door. The person left and waited at the nearby T intersection for several minutes before leaving.
•Deputies helped corral loose cows at 6:09 p.m. near County Road Y/Highway 29, River Falls.
•Police responded at 6:51 p.m. to 111 N. Public St., Elmwood, where a caller reported that his neighbor’s garage door appeared to be broken. The deputy took photos and notified the owner.
•Police were sent to check out a driving complaint at 10:50 p.m. near 780th Avenue and Highway 63, Spring Valley. The vehicle was located and it appeared that a domestic incident had occurred. Both parties were uncooperative. They were separated and sober drivers called.
June 13
•Deputies assisted with a fight in progress at 12:46 a.m. at 117 Broad St., Prescott.
•PCSO responded at 12:52 a.m. to 107 E. Elm St., River Falls, to assist with a fight in progress.
•Deputies again responded at 2:19 a.m. and 2:28 a.m. to 117 Broad St., Prescott, for an altercation.
•Deputies provided someone a courtesy ride at 3:08 a.m. from 117 Broad St., Prescott.
•A dog bite was reported at 7:34 a.m. at N4912 County Road E, Prescott. Police gave the owner quarantine paperwork and explained the process.
•PCSO assisted Prescott police with a parking complaint at 9:48 a.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
•Deputies responded to W7037 135th Ave., Bay City (Big Dog Daddy’s Roadhouse) for a structure fire at 3:11 p.m.
•Deputies responded at 5:40 p.m. to N7328 450th St., Spring Valley, for a fallen tree that had damaged several power poles. The power company responded and repaired the lines.
•PCSO assisted at another fire call at W7037 135th Ave., Bay City, at 11:26 p.m.
June 14
•Police saw a patron in a parking lot after hours at 12:52 a.m. at N4304 County Road S, Plum City. The person was given a courtesy ride home.
•Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 2:30 a.m. at W10516 Highway 10, Prescott. The people said they were just looking at the stars on their way home.
•Deputies responded at 4:01 a.m. to County Road K/Highway 35, Hager City where a man was located who appeared to be heavily influenced by drugs. EMS took him to the hospital and his vehicle was towed due to being a traffic hazard.
