LETTERS to the Editor
The law is simple
To the editor,
There's an election integrity game being played in our state. It's to deflect from state absentee ballot law that was broken in the 2020 presidential election.
Speaker Vos, you’re supposed to follow the absentee ballot statute which is very clear. Instead you chose to break the law. Why not change the law through legislative action? It won’t work because Wisconsinites, barring the Democrats, want election integrity and there is a reason why unsupervised drop boxes are banned. They facilitate cheating. As a Republican, I can’t understand why you would desire that? When your scheme with the WEC was exposed you became defiant and punished Rep. Ramthun and are doubting down on this illegal scheme. You and WEC broke the law and need to be held accountable.
Rep. Ramthun should replace you as speaker. Wisconsin doesn’t need lawbreakers in office who have been empowered to be lawmakers. That’s what Democrats do and we are seeing that being played out at the federal level and in states with Democratic majorities. I don’t expect you to be a part of, as someone said on his epitaph, the party of treason. The law is simple, you obtain and return absentee ballots via mail or inperson from and to the municipal clerk.
