TOWN OF TRIMBELLE – Firefighters were able to save three dogs from a house fire Sunday in the town of Trimbelle.
Ellsworth Fire was dispatched to a structure fire at 2:52 p.m. April 27 at N5715 800th St. When they arrived, fire was showing through the roof, which had partially collapsed, on a single family single-story home. The occupants weren’t home at the time of the fire, but firefighters freed three dogs from the residence.
Crews worked for about 2.5 hours to extinguish the flames, but the home was deemed a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting the residents, who were displaced. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
Ellsworth Fire utilized MABAS Division 156 to request assistance from River Falls Fire Department, Prescott Fire Department, United Fire and Rescue, Spring Valley Fire Department and Allina EMS.
Ellsworth Fire was also assisted on scene by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Pierce County Dispatch Center and Ellsworth EMS.
